1Strength Prediction of Aluminum–Stainless Steel-Pulsed TIG Welding–Brazing Joints with RSM and ANN显示文摘Pulsed TIG welding–brazing process was applied to join aluminum with stainless steel dissimilar metals. Major parameters that affect the joint property significantly were identified as pulsed peak current, base current, pulse on time,and frequency by pre-experiments. A sample was established according to central composite design. Based on the sample,response surface methodology(RSM) and artificial neural networks(ANN) were employed to predict the tensile strength of the joints separately. With RSM, a significant and rational mathematical model was established to predict the joint strength.With ANN, a modified back-propagation algorithm consisting of one input layer with four neurons, one hidden layer with eight neurons, and one output layer with one neuron was trained for predicting the strength. 2Precise determination of the reference point coordinates of Shanghai Tianma 65-m radio telescope显示文摘A local survey was implemented at the newly constructed Shanghai Tianma 65-m radio telescope.In this article,the survey implementation and data analysis are described.Particularly,by application of coordinate transformation,dimensionality reduction and step fitting of parameters,as well as adoption of reliability test measures of parameters,the mathematical model of data analysis is simplified,the detrimental effects of observation noises and unevenly spatial coverage of sample points are effectively compressed,the stability and precision of parameter solutions are improved,and so the geocentric three-dimensional coordinates of the reference point of this telescope in the precision of millimeters were determined,and the axisoffset was shown not significant on the precision level of3 mm.The outcome provides important reference to the subsequent activities of antenna maintenance and scientific application,including the establishment of precise antenna orientation model,orientation guidance,fringe searching in data cross-correlation,analysis and application studies of VLBI observations.It is also important archive data for monitoring possible subsidence and lateral displacement of antenna foundation as well as deformation of antenna tracking-rail and structure.Jinling Li Fuwen Xiong Chenglei Yu Jinwei Zhang Li Guo Qingyuan Fan 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,21:5

5Microstructure Evolutions and Properties of Al-Cu Alloy Joint in the Pulsed Power Ultrasonic-Assisted GMAW显示文摘The pulsed power ultrasonic-assisted gas metal arc welding(PU-GMAW)is a new development hybrid welding method.The influences of the pulsed power ultrasonic on the microstructure evolution of the welded joint of Al-Cu alloy were investigated by using scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscope and electron back scattering diffraction.The results showed that the efficient heat input in the PU-GMAW was increased by above 100%compared with the traditional GMAW.The grain and eutectic of the PU-GMAW weld seam were refined compared with that of the GMAW.Cavitation and acoustic streaming induced the dendrite fragmentation(α-Al)and heterogeneous nucleation,which were the main reasons for the grain refinement.The microhardness of the PU-GMAW welded joint was improved compared with that of the GMAW owing to the change of the eutectic and grain.Chao Chen Chenglei Fan Zeng Liu Xiaoyu Cai Sanbao Lin Yimin Zhuo 2020Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2020,33,10:1

7Numerical Simulation of the Stress and Distortion of the Fiberglass-Reinforced Plastics Crust-Stainless Steel Liner Compound Conduit显示文摘A new type of compound conduit is designed and the finite element method (FEM) is applied to analyze the mechanicalperformance of a typical compound conduit. The results of the numerical simulation confirm that the distributionsof the strain, stress and the flexure distortion of the conduit are reasonable under the working conditions, and thestress and strain are continuous at the interface of the crust and the pipe liner. The conduit can endure 7.4 timesof the working load before break, which fits well with that of the experiment and means that the conduit has goodability to bear overload. 8Optimization of filler metal during superalloy-stainless steel arc brazing显示文摘According to the specification of superalloy-stainless steel arc brazing and characteristic of the base metal,a best filler metal which has relative lower melting point,nice wettability,good weld forming,and adequate shear strength was researched.The experiment results show that wettability of CuFeMn on the stainless steel is very poor,concomitant with a mass of purple soot during the welding which deteriorates the working condition.CuSiMn has the best wettability on both the superalloy and stainless steel,but there remains a lot of pit and slag on the surface of the weld bead.Copper-based solder has the highest melting point and its wettability and clearance fillability are weaker than CuSi3.Wettability and clearance fillability of the CuSi3 are the best in all the candidate filler metals,and its weld is smoothness and has higher shear strength.For its comprehensive ability,CuSi3 is selected as the final filler metal.FAN Chenglei,LIN Sanbao,YANG Chunli,and SONG Jianling State Kay Laboratory of Advanced Welding Production Technology,Harbin Institute of Technology,Harbin 150001,China 2007Rare Metals2007,26,S1:0
9Surplus energy utilization of spent lithium-ion batteries for high-profit organolithiums显示文摘It is challenging to efficiently and economically recycle many lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)because of the low valuation of commodity metals and materials,such as LiFePO_(4).There are millions of tons of spent LIBs where the barrier to recycling is economical,and to make recycling more feasible,it is required that the value of the processed recycled material exceeds the value of raw commodity materials.The presented research illustrates improved profitability and economics for recycling spent LIBs by utilizing the surplus energy in lithiated graphite to drive the preparation of organolithiums to add value to the recycled lithium materials.This study methodology demonstrates that the surplus energy of lithiated graphite obtained from spent LIBs can be utilized to prepare high-value organolithiums,thereby significantly improving the economic profitability of LIB recycling.Organolithiums(R-O-Li and R-Li)were prepared using alkyl alcohol(R-OH)and alkyl bromide(R-Br)as substrates,where R includes varying hindered alkyl hydrocarbons.The organolithiums extracted from per kilogram of recycled LIBs can increase the economic value between$29.5 and$226.5 kg^(−1) cell.The value of the organolithiums is at least 5.4 times the total theoretical value of spent materials,improving the profitability of recycling LIBs over traditional pyrometallurgical($0.86 kg^(−1) cell),hydrometallurgical($1.00 kg^(−1) cell),and physical direct recycling methods($5.40 kg^(−1) cell).Jian Lu Yun Zhao Yuqiong Kang Chenglei Li Yawen Liu Liguang Wang Hao Du Meicen Fan Yunan Zhou John Wozny Tao Li Naser Tavajohi Feiyu Kang Baohua Li 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,6:0
