1Estimating differential quantities from point cloud based on a linear fitting of normal vectors显示文摘Estimation of differential geometric properties on a discrete surface is a fundamental work in computer graphics and computer vision. In this paper, we present an accurate and robust method for estimating differential quantities from unorganized point cloud. The principal curvatures and principal directions at each point are computed with the help of partial derivatives of the unit normal vector at that point, where the normal derivatives are estimated by fitting a linear function to each component of the normal vectors in a neighborhood. This method takes into account the normal information of all neighboring points and computes curvatures directly from the variation of unit normal vectors, which improves the accuracy and robustness of curvature estimation on irregular sampled noisy data. The main advantage of our approach is that the estimation of curvatures at a point does not rely on the accuracy of the normal vector at that point, and the normal vectors can be refined in the process of curvature estimation. Compared with the state of the art methods for estimating curvatures and Darboux frames on both synthetic and real point clouds, the approach is shown to be more accurate and robust for noisy and unorganized point cloud data.CHENG ZhangLin ZHANG XiaoPeng 2009Science in China(Series F)2009,52,3:3

4Electrochemical reaction mechanism of porous Zn_(2)Ti_(3)O_(8)as a high-performance pseudocapacitive anode for Li-ion batteries显示文摘Zn_(2)Ti_(3)O_(8),as a new type of anode material for lithium-ion batteries,is attracting enormous attention because of its low cost and excellent safety.Though decent capacities have been reported,the electrochemical reaction mechanism of Zn_(2)Ti_(3)O_(8)has rarely been studied.In this work,a porous Zn_(2)Ti_(3)O_(8)anode with considerably high capacity(421 mAh/g at 100 mA/g and 209 mAh/g at 5000 mA/g after 1500 cycles)was reported,which is even higher than ever reported titanium-based anodes materials including Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12),TiO_(2)and Li_(2)ZnTi_(3)O_(8).Here,for the first time,the accurate theoretical capacity of Zn_(2)Ti_(3)O_(8)was confirmed to be 266.4 mAh/g.It was also found that both intercalation reaction and pseudocapacitance contribute to the actual capacity of Zn_(2)Ti_(3)O_(8),making it possibly higher than the theoretical value.Most importantly,the porous structure of Zn_(2)Ti_(3)O_(8)not only promotes the intercalation reaction,but also induces high pseudocapacitance capacity(225.4 mAh/g),which boosts the reversible capacity.Therefore,it is the outstanding pseudocapacitance capacity of porous Zn_(2)Ti_(3)O_(8)that accounts for high actual capacity exceeding the theoretical one.This work elucidates the superiorities of porous structure and provides an example in designing high-performance electrodes for lithium-ion batteries.Weijie Cheng Qi Feng Zhanglin Guo Guanjun Chen Yong Wang Lixiong Yin Jiayin Li Xingang Kong 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,11:0
5Quasi-holography computational model for urban computing显示文摘Vast amounts of data are produced with the development of smart cities and urban computing technologies.The data is often captured from multiple sensors,with heterogeneous structures and highly decentralized connections.Integrated data representation and smart computational models are required for more complex tasks in urban computing.We dwell deeply on two fundamental questions—can we provide an integrated data representation for the whole cyber–physical–social system?And,can we provide an integrated framework to choose the appropriate data for understanding a specific urban event?A holography data representation and the quasi-holography computational model have been proposed to address these problems.We describe case studies using the quasi-holography computational model,and discuss further problems to solve regarding our model.Baoquan Chen Qiong Zeng Zhanglin Cheng 2019Visual Informatics2019,3,2:0
