| 1 | Restudies on Body Surface of Dung Beetle and Application of Its Bionics Flexible Technique显示文摘A scanning electron microscope was used to observe the structures of the setae on the surface of a dung beetle Copris ochus, Motschulsky. There are lots of setae on the body surface, especially on the ventral part surface and lateral to the legs which are different in size, arrangement and shape. These setae have different lengths and many thorns on the whole seta. The top ends of these setae stand up without furcations which direct uprightly towards the surface of the touched soil. By the method of removing these setae, getting the insect weight before and after digging into the dung we affirm farther that the setae on the beetle body surface form the anti-stick and non-adherent gentle interface. | 2 | Comprehensive Assessment of Seawater Quality Based on an Improved Attribute Recognition Model显示文摘The attribute recognition model (ARM) has been widely used to make comprehensive assessment in many engineering fields, such as environment, ecology, and economy. However, large numbers of experiments indicate that the value of weight vector has no relativity to its initial value but depends on the data of Quality Standard and actual samples. In the present study, the ARM is enhanced with the technique of data driving, which means some more groups of data from the Quality Standard are selected with the uniform random method to make the calculation of weight values more rational and more scientific. This improved attribute recognition model (IARM) is applied to a real case of assessment on seawater quality. | 3 | Biosynthesis of Unsaturated Fatty Acids via Mortierella Isabellina Cultivated in a Medium Containing Butanol显示文摘Mortierella isabellina was found to accumulate large amounts of unsaturated fatty acids when it was grown in a medium containing butanol(5 g/L) and yeast extract(10 g/L) and cultivated at 25 ℃ for 5 d during which additional feeding butanol of 2 g/L was fed after being cultivated for 48 h . The resultant mycelial lipids accounted for 40 1% of the dry mycelia, while about 34% of butanol in the medium was converted. The mycelial lipids contained four kinds of unsaturated fatty acids, i.e ., palmitoleic(4 9%), oleic(54 1%), linoleic(10 4%) and linolenic(5 4%) acids. Those accounted for 74 8% of the total fatty acids. | 4 | The Sequence Architecture of Volcanic Basin Fillings-An Example From Xujiaweizi Faulted Depression In Songliao Basin显示文摘The basin filling geometric pattern of volcanic eruptive rocks depends on both of the eruptive locations in a basin and structural styles of fault terraces. It is divided into three types by eruptive locations and occurrences of eruptive rocks, including the pattern of eruption along fault and occurrence (PEAFO), the pattern of eruption on footwall of a fault and occurrence (PEOFO) and the pattern of eruption on hangingwall of fault and occurrence (PEOHO) in Xujiaweizi fault depression of Songliao basin, Northeast of China. Those basin filling patterns of volcanic eruptive rocks are of specific geometric characteristics controlling or affecting sedimentation, geometry of sedimentary body and sequence architecture during a sequence evolution. | 5 | Purification and Characterization of an Antibacterial Peptide from Rana Temporaria Chensinensis Skin显示文摘The Rana temporaria chensinensis is an amphibian distributing mainly over the north of China. Its skin gland contains a variety of peptides, including antibacterial peptides. One of them, component 1, has been purified from the dried skin of R.temporaria chensinesis using a five step procedure. Purified component 1 has a molecular weight of 5 700 and its amino acid composition shows that it is devoid of disulfide bridges but rich in histine and glycine residues. According to the crosscutting relationships between dykesand auriferous veins, single hydrothermal zircon U-Pb dating and quartz K-Ar,40Ar-39Ar andRb-Sr datings, the main mineralization stage of the Jiapigou deposit has been determined to be2469-2475 Ma, while mineralization superimposition on the gold deposit occurred in1800-2000 Ma and 130-272 Ma. | 7 | HSF1 facilitates the multistep process of lymphatic metastasis in bladder cancer via a novel PRMT5-WDR5-dependent transcriptional program显示文摘Background:Lymphatic metastasis has been associated with poor prognosis in bladder cancer patients with limited therapeutic options.Emerging evidence shows that heat shock factor 1(HSF1)drives diversified transcriptome to promote tumor growth and serves as a promising therapeutic target.However,the roles of HSF1 in lymphatic metastasis remain largely unknown.Herein,we aimed to illustrate the clinical roles and mechanisms of HSF1 in the lymphatic metastasis of bladder cancer and explore its therapeutic potential.Methods:We screened the most relevant gene to lymphatic metastasis among overexpressed heat shock factors(HSFs)and heat shock proteins(HSPs),and analyzed its clinical relevance in three cohorts.Functional in vitro and in vivo assays were performed in HSF1-silenced and-regained models.We also used Coimmunoprecipitation to identify the binding proteins of HSF1 and chromatin immunoprecipitation and dual-luciferase reporter assays to investigate the transcriptional program directed by HSF1.The pharmacological inhibitor of HSF1,KRIBB11,was evaluated in popliteal lymph node metastasis models and patientderived xenograft models of bladder cancer.Results:HSF1 expression was positively associated with lymphatic metastasis status,tumor stage,advanced grade,and poor prognosis of bladder cancer.Importantly,HSF1 enhanced the epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)of cancer cells in primary tumor to initiate metastasis,proliferation of cancer cells in lymph nodes,and macrophages infiltration to facilitate multistep lymphatic metastasis.Mechanistically,HSF1 interacted with protein arginine methyltransferase 5(PRMT5)and jointly induced the monomethylation of histone H3 at arginine 2(H3R2me1)and symmetric dimethylation of histone H3 at arginine 2(H3R2me2s).This recruited the WD repeat domain 5(WDR5)/mixed-lineage leukemia(MLL)complex to increase the trimethylation of histone H3 at lysine 4(H3K4me3);resulting in upregulation of lymphoid enhancer-binding factor 1(LEF1),matrix metallopeptidase 9(MMP9),C-C motif chemokine ligand 20(CCL20),and E2F transcription factor 2(E2F2).Application of KRIBB11 significantly inhibited the lymphatic metastasis of bladder cancer with no significant toxicity.Conclusion:Our findings reveal a novel transcriptional program directed by the HSF1-PRMT5-WDR5 axis during the multistep process of lymphatic metastasis in bladder cancer.Targeting HSF1 could be a multipotent and promising therapeutic strategy for bladder cancer patients with lymphatic metastasis. | Ming Huang Wen Dong Ruihui Xie Jilin Wu Qiao Su Wuguo Li Kai Yao Yuelong Chen Qianghua Zhou Qiang Zhang Wenwen Li Liang Cheng Shengmeng Peng Siting Chen Jian Huang Xu Chen Tianxin Lin | 2022 | Cancer Communications2022，42，5： | 2 |

| 15 | Transverse vibration of pre-tensioned nonlocal nanobeams with precise internal axial loads显示文摘This paper investigates the transverse vibration of a simply supported nanobeam with an initial axial tension based on the nonlocal stress field theory with a nonlocal size parameter. Considering an axial elongation due to transverse vibration, the internal axial tension is not precisely equal to the external initial tension. A sixth-order nonlinear partial differential equation that governs the transverse vibration for such nonlocal nanobeam is derived. Using a perturbation method, the relation between natural frequency and nonlocal nanoscale parameter is derived and the transverse vibration mode is solved. The external axial tension and nonlocal nanoscale parameter are proven to play significant roles in the nonlinear vibration behavior of nonlocal nanobeams. Such effects enhance the natural frequency and stiffness as compared to the predictions of the classical continuum mechanics models. CuSO 4 /L-sodium ascorbate was chosen as the catalyst system, three terminal alkynes were conjugated with two different azides respectively, and then the new prepared fac-[188 Re(CO) 3 (H 2 O) 3]+ was coordinated to the six triazoles. The results showed that the radiochemical yields (RCY) of the conjugation of fac-[188 Re(CO) 3]+ with six triazoles were over 90%, and the triazoles showed high stability in phosphate-buffered saline and new-born calf serum.
