| 1 | Mapping wetland changes in China between 1978 and 2008显示文摘Four wetland maps for all China have been produced,based on Landsat and CBERS-02B remote sensing data between 1978 and 2008 (1978,1990,2000 and 2008).These maps were mainly developed by manual interpretation and validated by substantial field investigation in 2009.Based on these maps,we analyzed the 2008 wetland distribution in China and discussed wetland changes and their drivers over the past 30 years.(i) There were about 324097 km 2 of wetlands in 2008,for which inland marshes or swamps were the most common wetland type (35%),with lakes (26%) second.Most of the wetlands were in Heilongjiang,Inner Mongolia,Qinghai and Tibet,occupying about 55% of the national wetland area.(ii) From 1978 to 2008,China's wetland area continually and significantly decreased,by about 33% based on changes in the wetland map.This was in sharp contrast to the increase in artificial wetlands,which increased by about 122%.Inland marshes accounted for the main loss of total wetlands from 1978 to 2000.From 2000 through 2008,riverine and lacustrine wetlands constituted the main wetland loss.Fortunately however,the rate of wetland loss decreased from 5523 to 831 km 2 /a.(iii) The change ratio of lost natural wetlands (including inland and coastal wetlands) to non-wetlands has decreased slightly over the past 30 years.From 1978 to 1990,nearly all natural wetlands (98%) lost were transformed into non-wetlands.However,the ratio declined to 86% from 1990 to 2000,and to 77% from 2000 to 2008.(iv) All Chinese provinces were divided into three groups according to patterns of wetland changes,which could relate to the driving forces of such changes.Tibet was completely different from other provinces,as it was one representative example in which there was a net wetland increase,because of global warming and decreased human activity since 1990.Increased economic development caused considerable wetland loss in most eastern provinces,and artificial wetlands increased. | NIU ZhenGuo ZHANG HaiYing WANG XianWei YAO WenBo ZHOU DeMin ZHAO KuiYi ZHAO Hui LI NaNa HUANG HuaBing LI CongCong YANG Jun LIU CaiXia LIU Shuang WANG Lin LI Zhan YANG ZhenZhong QIAO Fei ZHENG YaoMin CHEN YanLei SHENG YongWei GAO XiaoHong ZHU WeiHong WANG WenQing WANG Hong WENG YongLing ZHUANG DaFang LIU JiYuan LUO ZhiCai CHENG Xiao GUO ZiQi GONG Peng | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,22: | 51 |
| 2 | The first all-season sample set for mapping global land cover with Landsat-8 data显示文摘We report the world's first all-season training and validation sample sets for global land cover classification with Landsat-8 data.Prior to this,such samples were only available at a single date primarily from the growing season.It is unknown how much limitation such a single-date sample has to mapping global land cover in other seasons of the year.To answer this question,we selected available Landsat-8 images from four seasons and collected training and validation samples from them.We compared the performances of training samples in different seasons using Random Forest algorithm.We found that the use of training samples from any individual season would result in the best overall classification accuracy when validated by samples in the same season.The global overall accuracy from combined best seasonal results was 67.2% when classifying the 11 Level-1 classes in the Finer Resolution Observation and Monitoring of Global Land Cover(FROM-GLC) classification system.The use of training samples from all seasons(named all-season training sample set hereafter) produced an overall accuracy of 67.0%.We also tested classification within 10° latitude 60° longitude zones using all-season training subsample within each zone and obtained an overall accuracy of 70.2%.This indicates that properly grouped subsamples in space can help improve classification accuracies.All the results in this study seem to suggest that it is possible to use an all-season training sample set to reach global optimality with universal applicability in classifying images acquired at any time of a year for global land cover mapping. | Congcong Li Peng Gong Jie Wang Zhiliang Zhu Gregory S. | 4 | A de novo Genome of a Chinese Radish Cultivar显示文摘Here, we report a high-quality draft genome of a Chinese radish(Raphanus sativus) cultivar. This draft contains 387.73 Mb of assembled scaffolds, 83.93% of the scaffolds were anchored onto nine pseudochromosomes and 95.09% of 43 240 protein-coding genes were functionally annotated. 184.75 Mb(47.65%) of repeat sequences was identified in the assembled genome. By comparative analyses of the radish genome against 10 other plant genomes, 2 275 genes in 780 gene families were found unique to R. sativus. | 6 | The vernalization-induced long non-coding RNA VAS functions with the transcription factor TaRF2b to promote TaVRN1 expression for flowering in hexaploid wheat显示文摘Vernalization is a physiological process in which prolonged cold exposure establishes flowering competence in winter plants. In hexaploid wheat, TaVRN1 is a cold-induced key regulator that accelerates floral transition. However, the molecular mechanism underlying the gradual activation of TaVRN1 during the vernalization process remains unknown. In this study, we identified the novel transcript VAS (TaVRN1 alternative splicing) as a non-coding RNA derived from the sense strand of the TaVRN1 gene only in winter wheat, which regulates TaVRN1 transcription for flowering. VAS was induced during the early period of vernalization, and its overexpression promoted TaVRN1 expression to accelerate flowering in winter wheat. VAS physically associates with TaRF2b and facilitates docking of the TaRF2b-TaRF2a complex at the TaVRN1 promoter during the middle period of vernalization. TaRF2b recognizes the Sp1 motif within the TaVRN1 proximal promoter region, which is gradually exposed along with the disruption of a loop structure at the TaVRN1 locus during vernalization, to activate the transcription of TaVRN1. The tarf2b mutants exhibited delayed flowering, whereas transgenic wheat lines overexpressing TaRF2b showed earlier flowering. | 7 | Experimental and numerical analysis of secondary disasters induced by oxygen rich combustion within a tunnel显示文摘Various physical parameters, including gas concentrations (O2, CO, CH4, and H2) and temperatures at dif- ferent air velocities, were determined for full scale wood fires in the Chongqing Coal Research Institute fire test tunnel. Both experimental measurements and numerical simulations are discussed. The numer- ical analysis was performed with the computational fluid dynamics software package ''FLUENT''. The results show that the experimental data agree with the simulation results. The results verify that Roberts' theory of burning is correct. They also prove that the air velocity is the key factor that determines the type of combustion. | 8 | Enhancing carrier transport in flexible CZTSSe solar cells via doping Li strategy显示文摘The passivation of non-radiative states and inhibition of band tailings are desirable for improving the open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))of CZTSSe thin-film solar cells.Recently,alkali metal doping has been investigated to passivate defects in CZTSSe films.Herein,we investigate Li doping effects by applying Li OH into CZTSSe precursor solutions,and verify that carrier transport is enhanced in the CZTSSe solar cells.Systematic characterizations demonstrate that Li doping can effectively passivate non-radiative recombination centers and reduce band tailings of the CZTSSe films,leading to the decrease in total defect density and the increase in separation distance between donor and acceptor.Fewer free carriers are trapped in the band tail states,which speeds up carrier transport and reduces the probability of deep-level defects capturing carriers.The charge recombination lifetime is about twice as long as that of the undoped CZTSSe device,implying the heterojunction interface recombination is also inhibited.Besides,Li doping can increase carrier concentration and enhance build-in voltage,leading to a better carrier collection.By adjusting the Li/(Li+Cu)ratio to 18%,the solar cell efficiency is increased significantly to 9.68%with the fill factor(FF)of 65.94%,which is the highest FF reported so far for the flexible CZTSSe solar cells.The increased efficiency is mainly attributed to the reduction of V_(oc)deficit and the improved CZTSSe/Cd S junction quality.These results open up a simple route to passivate non-radiative states and reduce the band tailings of the CZTSSe films and improve the efficiency of the flexible CZTSSe solar cells. | Qiong Yan Quanzhen Sun Hui Deng Weihao Xie Caixia Zhang Jionghua Wu Qiao Zheng Shuying Cheng | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,,12: | 2 |
| 9 | Novel functional fiber loaded with carbon dots for the deep removal of Cr(Ⅵ) by adsorption and photocatalytic reduction显示文摘A novel functional fiber(PAN-CDs) loaded with carbon dots(CDs) with excellent photoreduction and adsorption properties for Cr(VI) was prepared via an amidization reaction between the CDs’ carboxyl groups and amine groups on polyacrylonitrile(PAN)-based ion exchange fibers, which could completely preserve the fluorescence properties of the CDs. The photoluminescence(PL), photocatalysis and adsorption properties of PAN-CDs were characterized and analyzed. The PAN-CDs possess high adsorption capacity(297.6 mg/g) and excellent kinetic behavior(attaining adsorption equilibrium in 30 min)for Cr(VI) adsorption. Furthermore, the residual Cr(VI)(approximately 3 mg/L) after adsorption could be removed completely by subsequent photoreduction by the PAN-CDs.The Cr-saturated PAN-CDs could be easily separated by filtering and regenerated, with no observable decay of removal efficiency after five regeneration cycles. | 12 | 诱导化疗与放化疗联合治疗合并同侧胸腔积液局限期小细胞肺癌的对比研究(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of the study was to explore the effects and side effects of induction chemotherapy followed by chemoradiotherapy for limited-disease small cell lung cancer (LD-SCLC) patients with ipsilateral pleural effusion.Methods:From January 2005 to May 2009,52 LD-SCLC patients with ipsilateral pleural effusion were treated with induction chemotherapy first.The regimen was taken as follows:etoposide 100 mg iv,d1-d5,cisplatin 25 mg/m2 iv,d1-d3 or CBP AUC 4 iv,d1.Three-week therapy was a cycle.According to pleural effusion status after 2-4 cycles induction chemotherapy,patients got disappearance of pleural effusion after chemotherapy were underwent thoracic radiotherapy (TRT;50 Gy/25 fraction) or same chemotherapy regimen;patients without disappearance or with increasing of pleural effusion after chemotherapy were given same chemotherapy regimen.Therapeutic effect was evaluated every two cycles according to RECIST 1.0 and side-effects were evaluated every cycle according to NCI-CTC AE Grades.All patients were followed up,and the median follow-up time was 26 months.Results:The response rate of patients was 80.7% (42/52) after induction chemotherapy and 34 patients got disappearance of pleural effusion.The median survival time,1-and 2-year survival rates were 15.4 months,76.9% (40 /52) and 38.5% (20 /52) respectively.The median survival time,1-and 2-year survival rates of patients with pleural effusion remission received chest radiotherapy (A group,n=20),patients with pleural effusion remission received chemotherapy (B group,n=14) and patients without pleural effusion remission received chemotherapy (C group,n=18) were 21.5 months,14.4 months,12.5 months,80.0%,64.3%,55.6% and 35%,21.4%,11.1%,respectively.Main side effects were grades 1-2,including myelosuppression,fatigue,nausea and vomiting.No therapeutic related death was occurred.Conclusion:Induction chemotherapy plus chemoradiotherapy has shown better effect in prolonging survival of small cell lung cancer (SCLC) patients with ipsilateral pleural effusion than chemotherapy alone.The patients with decreased ipsilateral pleural effusion may receive benefit from subsequent TRT. | Ying Liu Xuerong Zuo Caixia Zhang Ying Cheng | 2012 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2012,11,3: | 1 |

| 17 | Identifying Heteroatomic and Defective Sites in Carbon with Dual-Ion Adsorption Capability for High Energy and Power Zinc Ion Capacitor显示文摘Aqueous zinc-based batteries(AZB s)attract tremendous attention due to the abundant and rechargeable zinc anode.Nonetheless,the requirement of high energy and power densities raises great challenge for the cathode development.Herein we construct an aqueous zinc ion capacitor possessing an unrivaled combination of high energy and power characteristics by employing a unique dual-ion adsorption mechanism in the cathode side.Through a templating/activating co-assisted carbonization procedure,a routine protein-rich biomass transforms into defect-rich carbon with immense surface area of 3657.5 m^(2) g^(-1) and electrochemically active heteroatom content of 8.0 at%.Comprehensive characterization and DFT calculations reveal that the obtained carbon cathode exhibits capacitive charge adsorptions toward both the cations and anions,which regularly occur at the specific sites of heteroatom moieties and lattice defects upon different depths of discharge/charge.The dual-ion adsorption mechanism endows the assembled cells with maximum capacity of 257 mAh g^(-1) and retention of72 mAh g^(-1) at ultrahigh current density of 100 A g^(-1)(400 C),corresponding to the outstanding energy and power of 168 Wh kg^(-1)and 61,700 W kg^(-1).Furthermore,practical battery configurations of solid-state pouch and cable-type cells display excellent reliability in electrochemistry as flexible and knittable power sources. | Wenjie Fan Jia Ding Jingnan Ding Yulong Zheng Wanqing Song Jiangfeng Lin Caixia Xiao Cheng Zhong Huanlei Wang Wenbin Hu | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,4: | 1 |

| 20 | Analysis of the Relationship Between Plant Growth and Moisture Variation in the Desert Area of Hexi Corridor显示文摘In order to analyze the relationship between desert plant growth and precipitation,soil moisture,as well as groundwater in desertification control,a comprehensive desertification prevention and control station was established in the desert area of Hexi Corridor for long-term location monitoring,and data of precipitation,soil moisture,groundwater,coverage,and biomass were obtained.Methods including characteristic parameter algorithm,correlation analysis,and stepwise multiple linear regression analysis were employed to analyze the annual and inter-annual variation characteristics of plant growth and moisture,and related regression models were analyzed.The results showed that:(1) from 2006 to 2014,the inter-annual variation of soil moisture was the most drastic,the precipitation,biomass,and coverage underwent a similarly great variation,and the variation of the groundwater was the most moderate.The coverage showed a significantly fluctuating uptrend,and the biomass increased slightly.The precipitation,soil moisture,and groundwater showed a slight decrease,but it was not obvious.(2) During the plant growing season from March to November,the change of moisture content in each layer of soil was basical y the same,and the changes in biomass and coverage were basically the same,so were the changes in precipitation and groundwater.The order of the change range from large to small within the year was precipitation > groundwater depth > biomass > average coverage > soil moisture content.(3) Both the coverage and biomass models passed the R-fitting test,the F-test,and the t-test.The models predicted the variation of 58.0% and 98.7%,and the accuracy rate reached 52.0% and 86.2%.The research results can provide scientific support and reference data for water resources management in the prevention and control of desertification,as well as the evaluation of the influence of projects such as returning farmland to forest,natural forest protection,and comprehensive management of the Heihe River Basin on water resources. | NIU Yun CHENG Caixia | 2018 | Journal of Landscape Research2018,10,5: | 1 |
