1Red carbon dots as label-free two-photon fluorescent nanoprobes for imaging of formaldehyde in living cells and zebrafishes显示文摘Direct,in situ selective detection of intracellular formaldehyde(FA)is of great significance for understanding its function in FA-related diseases.Herein,red carbon dots(RCD)are reported as label-free two-photon fluorescent nanoprobes for detecting and imaging of FA.Upon addition of FA,the-NH2 groups of RCD could quickly and specially react with aldehydes to form Schiff base and then the strong fluorescence of RCD with blue-shift emission is recovery due to the destruction of the hydrogen bond interaction between RCD and water.In addition,the nanoprobes exhibit outsta nding photo stability,rapid response(<1 min),high sensitivity(~9.9μmol/L)and excellent selectivity toward FA over other aldehyde group compounds.Notably,owing to the good cell-membrane permeability and biocompatibility,as well as the large two-photon absorption cross-section,the as-prepared RCD can be used as label-free nanoprobes for selectively detecting and imaging FA in living cells and zebrafishes through one-photon and two-photon excitation.Moreover,RCD could stain the tissue of zebrafishes at depths interval of up to 240μm under two-photon excitation.This research implied that RCD are promising tools for directly and in situ imaging FA in vivo,thus providing critical insights into FA-related pathophysiological processes.Hong Wang Jing Wei Chonghua Zhang Yuan Zhang Yubin Zhang Lin Li Changmin Yu Peisheng Zhang Jian Chen 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,3:3
2Recent progress in small molecule fluorescent probes for nitroreductase显示文摘Nitroreductase(NTR) is a member of flavin-containing enzymes that exists widely in bacteria. Hypoxia,which is a characteristic of locally advanced solid tumors, resulting from an imbalance between oxygen consumption and supply, can result in NTR overexpression. Using either nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADH) or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADPH) as a source of reducing equivalents, NTR can catalyze the reduction of nitroaromatic compounds to the corresponding amines.Based on this reduction mechanism, NTR can be applied not only in the bioremediation and degradation of organic nitrogen compounds, but also in the development of NTR-targeted fluorescent probes to detect the hypoxic status of cancer cells. 3Influences of Tibetan Plateau uplift on provenance evolution of the paleo-Pearl River显示文摘A comparative analysis of the geochemical characteristics of sediments from the Oligocene Zhuhai Formation(32-23.8 Ma),the Miocene Zhujiang Formation(23.8-16.5 Ma),and the Hanjiang Formation(16.5—10.5 Ma) and a comprehensive analysis of the geochemical characteristics of rocks surrounding the paleo-Pearl River drainage contribute to understanding the influences of the Tibetan Plateau uplift on provenance evolution of the paleo-Pearl River.The results show that the geochemical characteristics of sediments from the Oligocene Zhuhai Formation are very different from the geochemical characteristics of sediments from the Miocene Zhujiang and Hanjiang Formations.The ∑ rare earth elements(REE) of mudstone is relatively high in the Zhuhai Formation,204.07-293.88 ppm(average 240.46 ppm),and low in the Zhujiang and Hanjiang Formations,181.32-236.73 ppm(average 203.83 ppm) and 166.84-236.65 ppm(average199.04 ppm),respectively.The chemical index of alteration(CIA) for these samples has a similar trend to the∑ REE:the CIA of the Zhuhai Formation is relatively high and the CIA of the Zhujiang and Hanjiang Formations is relatively low.The uplift of the Tibetan Plateau is crucial to the westward expansion of the paleo-Pearl River drainage.Ye Yu Changmin Zhang Shaohua Li Rui Zhu Jiangyan Liu Chenggang Qin Zhongtao Zhang 2015Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2015,34,2:2

6A Comprehensive Evaluation on the Devonian-Carboniferous Boundary Stratotype Candidate Section in Nanbiancun, Guilin, Guangxi显示文摘This paper presents a comprehensive evaluation on the Devonian-Carboniferous Boundary (DCB) sectionin Nanbiancun. Guilin. Guangxi on the basis of Palaeontological, biostratigraphical and sedimentarypetrological studies as well as microfacies analysis. REE and trace element analysis and isotopic dating. The DCB at this section conforms to the definition of this boundary and essentially measure up the criteriaand conditions for selection of the boundary stratotype. Up to 14 fossil groups are contained in the section. Thesection presents a general biostratigraphical framework with multispecies fossils zones, assemblage zones andmultiple groups of fossils and has latent preponderant conditions for magnetostratigraphic andchronostratigraphic studies. The boundary and point occur in a persistent and continuous monofacialcarbonate succession. and the section is located in a tourist city with convenient communication, where variousfacies of DCB sections are developed. allowing the correlation within a small area. 8Mitochondria-targeted fluorescent probe based on vibration-induced emission for real-time monitoring mitophagy-specific viscosity dynamic显示文摘Directly monitoring mitophagy-specific viscosity dynamic in living cells is of great significance but remains challenging.Herein,this study reported a novel mitochondria-targeted fluorescent probe DPACDY based on vibration-induced emission(VIE)for monitoring viscosity changes during mitochondrial autophagy.This probe contained N,N’-diphenyl-dihydrodibenzo[a,c]phenazine(DPAC)as the VIE core and two positively charged pyridinium moieties for mitochondria anchoring.As the ambient viscosity increased,the vibration of DPAC-DY could be hindered,and subsequently resulting in the enhancement of fluorescence emission.In vitro and intracellular experiments indicated that the probe DPAC-DY showed highly sensitive response to viscosity due to VIE mechanism.Importantly,by virtue of this probe,in situ and real-time visualization of the specific viscosity dynamics during the mitochondrial autophagy process was achieved.Thus,this work provides a novel strategy for VIE-based viscosity response sensors applied to specific organelles and offers a platform for in-depth study of mitochondrial viscosity-related diseases.Shuangxi Wang Bicong Zhou Na Wang Changmin Yu Naidi Yang Jian Chen Qiong Wu Chengwu Zhang Lin Li Wei Huang 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,11:1
9Radiative-coupled evaporative cooling:Fundamentals,development,and applications显示文摘As global energy demand continues to rise and climate change accelerates,the need for sustainable and energy-efficient cooling solutions has reached a critical level.Conventional air conditioning systems heavily rely on energy-intensive mechanical cooling,which significantly contributes to both electricity demand and greenhouse gas emissions.Passive cooling strategies,particularly radiative cooling(RC)and evaporative cooling(EC),present an alternative approach by harnessing natural processes for temperature regulation.While standalone RC can be affected by weather conditions and EC relies on water availability,Radiative-coupled EC(REC)offers a versatile and sustainable cooling solution suitable for various applications.Here we summarize an overview of the theoretical foundations and mathematical models of REC,encompassing REC by bulk water(REC-BW),REC by perspiration(REC-P),and REC by sorbed water(REC-SW).Moreover,we explore a range of applications,spanning from industrial processes to personal thermal management,and examine the advantages and challenges associated with each REC approach.The significance of REC lies in its potential to revolutionize cooling technology,reduce energy consumption,and minimize the environmental impact.REC-BW can conserve water resources in industrial cooling processes,while REC-P offers innovative solutions for wearable electronics and textiles.REC-SW’s adaptability makes it suitable for food preservation and future potable cooling devices.By addressing the challenges posed by REC,including water consumption,textile design,and optimization of bilayer structures,we can unlock the transformative potential of REC and contribute to sustainable cooling technologies in a warming world.Li Yu Yimou Huang Weihong Li Changmin Shi Brian W.Sheldon Zhuo Chen Meijie Chen 2024Nano Research Energy2024,3,2:0
10Ultrasensitive detection of IgE levels based on magnetic nanocapturer linked immunosensor assay for early diagnosis of cancer显示文摘Rapid and accurate detection of immunoglobulin E(Ig E) in serum and reduction of serum dosage are of great significance for clinical detection. Herein, we described a rapid magnetic separation of Ig E from patient serum based on Fe3 O4@Si O2-NTA@026 sdab as the capture probe and multiple horseradish peroxidase(HRP)-labeled antibodies linked gold nanoparticles(Au NPs) as chemiluminescence(CL) signal amplifier for ultrasensitive detection of total Ig E. Results showed that the limit of detection of our immunosensor system in serum samples was 0.03 k U/L, which is lowest in comparison with current methods, and far lower than that of Immuno CAP for Ig E detection(0.1 k U/L). Furthermore, our immunosensor possessed satisfied repeatability and accuracy, as well as good stability. In comparison with the Immuno CAP for the quantitative detection of Ig E, highly consistent results were achieved in 20 serum samples. Specially, this method was also successfully utilized for assessing the Ig E traces in breast cancer patients,which provides a new idea for the diagnosis of early cancer. 13New Data on the Age of the Yukiang (Yujiang) Formation at Liujing, Guangxi, South China显示文摘The age of the Yukiang(Yujiang) Formation has been shrouded in controversy for more than75 years.New investigation at the Liujing section,Hengxian County,Guangxi,has revealed a conodont sequence assignable to two Early Devonian conodont zonations:the Eognathodus kindlei?-Polygnathus pireneae Zone and the Polygnathus nothoperbonus Zone from oldest to youngest.The Gaoling and Mahuangling members of the Nahkaoling(Nagaoling) Formation and the overlying Xiayiling Member and lower part of the Shizhou Member of the Yukiang Formation are proven to belong to the Pragian Eognathodus kindlei?-Polygnathus pireneae Zone.The co-occurrence of Polygnathus pireneae and Pol.sokolovi in the lower part of the Shizhou Member demonstrates that this interval can be approximately correlated with the uppermost part of the Polygnathus pireneae Zone.However,precise level identification of the Pragian-Emsian Boundary(PEB) in the Liujing section remains dfficult due to the scarcity of suitable limestone samples for conodont analysis from the middle and upper parts of the Shizhou Member.The Daliancun and Liujing members of the Yukiang Formation and the lower part of the overlying Moding Formation are assigned to the Polygnathus nothoperbonus Zone with the nominal species of this biozone ranging from the bottom of the Daliancun Member to the lower part of the Moding Formation.LU Jianfeng QIE Wenku YU Changmin CHEN Xiuqin 2017Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,4:0

16Genome-wide identification and prediction of long noncoding RNAs in half-smooth tongue sole Cynoglossus semilaevis显示文摘At present,the function and profile of long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)in half-smooth tongue soles Cynoglossus semilaevis remain poorly understood.Therefore,we identified lncRNAs in the species using large-scale deep sequencing approaches.A total of 96726222 clean reads and 2497 lncRNAs were obtained from the compound samples.In total,1694 known lncRNAs and 803 novel lncRNAs were identified.Most of the novel lncRNAs distributed mainly in a range of 200-3000 nt and contained 2-6 exons.Six novel lncRNAs were selected for expression analysis by quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction,of which lnc_770 and lnc_150 were expressed mainly in the ovary.This study provides a valuable resource for lncRNA studies of half-smooth tongue sole and improves our understanding of the function of non-coding RNA in fish.JIANG Xiaoli JING Xiaohong LÜ Yan SHAN Changmin LI Jiahua YU Yan WU Yuyong SUN Yeying 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,1:0
17Biomimetic Alveolus-on-a-Chip for SARS-CoV-2 Infection Recapitulation显示文摘SARS-CoV-2 has caused asevere pneumoniapandemic worldwide with high morbidity and mortality.Howto developa preclinical model for recapitulating SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis is stil urgent and essential for the control of the pandemic.Here,we have established a 3D biomimetic alveolus-on-a-chip with mechanical strain and extracellular matrix taken into consideration.We have validated that the alveolus-on-a-chip is capable of recapitulating key physiological characteristics of human alveolar units,which lays a fundamental basis for viral infection studies at the organ level.Using virus-analogous chemicals and pseudovirus,we have explored virus pathogenesis and blocking ability of antibodies during viral infection.This work provides a favorable platform for SARS-Cov-2-related researches and has a great potential for physiology and pathophysiology studies of the human lung at the organ level in vitro.Ting Cao Changmin Shao Xiaoyu Yu Ruipei Xie Chen Yang Yulong Sun Shaohua Yang Wangjian He Ye Xu Qihui Fan Fangfu Ye 2022Research2022,,2:0
