1Kinematics and Dynamics of Deployable Structures with Scissor-Like-Elements Based on Screw Theory显示文摘Because the deployable structures are complex multi-loop structures and methods of derivation which lead to simpler kinematic and dynamic equations of motion are the subject of research effort, the kinematics and dynamics of deployable structures with scissor-like-elements are presented based on screw theory and the principle of virtual work respectively. According to the geometric characteristic of the deployable structure examined, the basic structural unit is the common scissor-like-element(SLE). First, a spatial deployable structure, comprised of three SLEs, is defined, and the constraint topology graph is obtained. The equations of motion are then derived based on screw theory and the geometric nature of scissor elements. Second, to develop the dynamics of the whole deployable structure, the local coordinates of the SLEs and the Jacobian matrices of the center of mass of the deployable structure are derived. Then, the equivalent forces are assembled and added in the equations of motion based on the principle of virtual work. Finally, dynamic behavior and unfolded process of the deployable structure are simulated. Its figures of velocity, acceleration and input torque are obtained based on the simulate results. Screw theory not only provides an efficient solution formulation and theory guidance for complex multi-closed loop deployable structures, but also extends the method to solve dynamics of deployable structures. 2Pyrite Surface after ThiobaciUusferrooxidans Leaching at 30℃显示文摘In order to investigate the effect of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans on the oxidation of pyrite, two parallel experiments, which employed H2SO4 solutions and acidic solutions inoculated with Thiobacillus ferrooxidans, were designed and carried out at 30℃. The initial pH of the two solutions was adjusted to 2.5 by dropwise addition of concentrated sulphuric acid. The surfaces of pyrite before exposure to leaching solutions and after exposure to the H2SO4 solutions and acidic solutions inoculated with Thiobacillus ferrooxidans were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). There were a variety of erosion patterns by Thiobacillus ferrooxidans on the bio-leached pyrite surfaces. A conclusion can be drawn that the oxidation of pyrite might have been caused by erosion of the surfaces. Attachment of the bacteria to pyrite surfaces resulted in erosion pits, leading to the oxidation of pyrite. It is possible that the direct mechanism plays the most important role in the oxidation of pyrite. 3Preliminary analysis on the relationships between Tibetan Plateau NDVI change and its surface heat source and precipitation of China显示文摘Using the automatic weather station data obtained from the Tibetan Plateau (TP), the normalized dif- ference vegetation index and the monthly precipitation data of China and by the methods of correlation and composite analysis, preliminary analytical results are achieved concerning the relationships be- tween TP NDVI change and its surface heat source and precipitation of China. The results of our re- search may lead to the following conclusions: (1) A positive correlation relationship exists between TP NDVI change and its surface heat source, including the sensible heat and the latent heat. As to the correlation of the former, it is more remarkable in western TP than in eastern TP, and as to the correla- tion of the latter, however it turns out contrary. (2) With the improvement of TP vegetation, its surface heat source of every season is also mainly reinforced, especially in summer. As to the contribution of the sensible heat and the latent heat to the increment of the TP surface heat source intensity, the for- mer is comparatively more significant than the latter in winter and spring, while in summer and autumn, the two have almost the same importance. (3) The correlation coefficient between summer NDVI over TP and the corresponding period precipitation of China displays a belt distribution of '+?+' from south to north China. 4Mobility Analysis of the Deployable Structure of SLE Based on Screw Theory显示文摘Scissor-like element has a number of applications in deployable structures such as planar deployable structure (PDS) and ring deployable structure(RDS). However, the mobility analysis of the multi-loop deployable structures is made more difficulty by the traditional mobility formula, because the deployable structure is a very complex structure with multi-loop. Therefore, On the basis of screw theory, the calculation method of mobility of deployable structures of SLE is thoroughly discussed. In order to investigate the mobility, decomposing and composing structures(DCS) are developed, and the basic units are able to be obtained. On the basis of the deployable structures' geometrical characteristics, there exists a closed-loop quadrilateral structure and some non-closed-loop quadrilateral structures in PDS. Also, a six legs parallel structure is present in RDS. The basic units' mobility can be solved by both the methods of screw theory and topology constraint graphs. Then, composing the related basic units, the formula of planar deployable structures' mobility can be built and solves the mobility of ring deployable structure. 7Force-induced charge carrier storage:a new route for stress recording显示文摘Stress sensing is the basis of human-machine interface,biomedical engineering,and mechanical structure detection systems.Stress sensing based on mechanoluminescence(ML)shows significant advantages of distributed detection and remote response to mechanical stimuli and is thus expected to be a key technology of next-generation tactile sensors and stress recorders.However,the instantaneous photon emission in ML materials generally requires real-time recording with a photodetector,thus limiting their application fields to real-time stress sensing.In this paper,we report a force-induced charge carrier storage(FICS)effect in deep-trap ML materials,which enables storage of the applied mechanical energy in deep traps and then release of the stored energy as photon emission under thermal stimulation.The FICS effect was confirmed in five ML materials with piezoelectric structures,efficient emission centres and deep trap distributions,and its mechanism was investigated through detailed spectroscopic characterizations.Furthermore,we demonstrated three applications of the FICS effect in electronic signature recording,falling point monitoring and vehicle collision recording,which exhibited outstanding advantages of distributed recording,longterm storage,and no need for a continuous power supply.The FICS effect reported in this paper provides not only a breakthrough for ML materials in the field of stress recording but also a new idea for developing mechanical energy storage and conversion systems.Yixi Zhuang Dong Tu Changjian Chen Le Wang Hongwu Zhang Hao Xue Conghui Yuan Guorong Chen Caofeng Pan Lizong Dai Rong-Jun Xie 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:10

10Origin, Flow of Formation Water and Hydrocarbon Accumulation in the Zhenwu Area of the North Jiangsu Basin, China显示文摘In order to understand the origin and flow of formation water and to evaluate the hydrocarbon accumulation and preservation conditions, the properties of formation water chemistry and dynamics of the Zhenwu area in the southern Gaoyou Sag, North Jiangsu Basin, China, have been investigated. The results show that Xuzhuang oilfield is infiltrated discontinuously by meteoric water under gravity, which consequently leads to the desalination of formation water. Formation water in the Zhenwu and Caozhuang oilfields is less influenced by meteoric water infiltration, and the origin is interpreted to be connate water. Hydrocarbon migration, accumulation and preservation are closely related to the hydrodynamic field of formation water. Formation water concentrates gradually during the process of centrifugal flow released by mudstone compaction and the centripetal flow of meteoric water infiltration, leading to the high salinity of the central part. The geological conditions of the southern fault-terrace belt are poor for hydrocarbon accumulation and preservation as meteoric water infiltration, leaching and oxidation, while the central part, i.e., northern Zhenwu and Caozhuang oilfields is beneficial for an abundance of hydrocarbon accumulation. 11Al_2O_3-TiO_2 composite oxide films on etched aluminum foil fabricated by electrodeposition and anodization显示文摘Ti species have been deposited on low-voltage etched aluminum foils by a simple electrochemical method using a Ti anode as Ti source in a Ti-free I2-dissolved acetone solution. After annealing at 500-600℃ in air, an Al2O3-TiO2 composite oxide film was formed on the surface of the etched aluminum foil by anodizing galvanostatically in an ammonium adipate solution. The effects of I2 concentration in the acetone solution, applied anode voltage, electrolysis time, and annealing temperature on the specific capacitance of the aluminum anode foils were investigated. The TiO2-deposited specimens prepared by applying a po-tential of 50V for 3 min in 2.5m MI2-added acetone solution followed by annealing at 550℃ after anodization exhibited the highest specific capacitance, with an enhancement of 22% compared with pure etched aluminum foil specimens. 14A New Flexible Multibody Dynamics Analysis Methodology of Deployable Structures with Scissor-Like Elements显示文摘There are vast constraint equations in conventional dynamics analysis of deployable structures,which lead to differential-algebraic equations(DAEs)solved hard.To reduce the difficulty of solving and the amount of equations,a new flexible multibody dynamics analysis methodology of deployable structures with scissor-like elements(SLEs)is presented.Firstly,a precise model of a flexible bar of SLE is established by the higher order shear deformable beam element based on the absolute nodal coordinate formulation(ANCF),and the master/slave freedom method is used to obtain the dynamics equations of SLEs without constraint equations.Secondly,according to features of deployable structures,the specification matrix method(SMM)is proposed to eliminate the constraint equations among SLEs in the frame of ANCF.With this method,the inner and the boundary nodal coordinates of element characteristic matrices can be separated simply and efficiently,especially on condition that there are vast nodal coordinates.So the element characteristic matrices can be added end to end circularly.Thus,the dynamic model of deployable structure reduces dimension and can be assembled without any constraint equation.Next,a new iteration procedure for the generalized-a algorithm is presented to solve the ordinary differential equations(ODEs)of deployable structure.Finally,the proposed methodology is used to analyze the flexible multi-body dynamics of a planar linear array deployable structure based on three scissor-like elements.The simulation results show that flexibility has a significant influence on the deployment motion of the deployable structure.The proposed methodology indeed reduce the difficulty of solving and the amount of equations by eliminating redundant degrees of freedom and the constraint equations in scissor-like elements and among scissor-like elements.Qi’an Peng Sanmin Wang Changjian Zhi Bo Li 2019Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2019,32,5:5
15A reactive oxygen species-responsive dendrimer with low cytotoxicity for efficient and targeted gene delivery显示文摘Nonviral vectors have been attracting more attention for several advantages in gene delivery and the development of nonviral gene ca rriers with high delivery efficiency and low cytotoxicity has long been a key project.Starburst polyamidoamine dendrimers are a class of synthetic polymers with unique structural and physical characteristics.However,when they are used as gene carrier,the gene transfection efficiency is not satisfactory.Herein,a novel thioketal-core polyamidoamine dendrimer(i.e.,ROS-PAMAM)was synthesized and characterized.Compared to ethylenediamine-core dendrimers or widely used cationic polymers of polyetherimide,ROS-PAMAM showed lower cytotoxicity.Moreover,ROS-PAMAM demonstrated reactive oxygen species responsive characteristics,which can facilitate the release of siRNA in the tumor microenvironment.In vitro gene transfection experiments based on A549 cells confirmed that siRNA/ROS-PAMAM exhibits high gene transfection efficiency.It is concluded that ROS-PAMAM shows great potential as a generalizable vehicle for gene therapy applications.Yueqi Wang Changjian Li Libo Du Yang Liu 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,1:5

17Kinematic and Dynamic Characteristics Analysis of Bennett's Linkage显示文摘Bennett's linkage is a spatial fourlink linkage,and has an extensive application prospect in the deployable linkages.Its kinematic and dynamic characteristics analysis has a great significance in its synthesis and application. According to the geometrical conditions of Bennett 's linkage,the motion equations are established,and the expressions of angular displacement,angular velocity and angular acceleration of the followers and the displacement,velocity and acceleration of mass center of link are shown. Based on Lagrange's equation,the multi-rigid-body dynamic model of Bennett's linkage is established. In order to solve the reaction forces and moments of joint,screw theory and reciprocal screw method are combined to establish the computing method.The number of equations and unknown reaction forces and moments of joint are equal through adding link deformation equations. The influence of the included angle of adjacent axes on Bennett 's linkage 's kinematic characteristics,the dynamic characteristics and the reaction forces and moments of joint are analyzed.Results show that the included angle of adjacent axes has a great effect on velocity,acceleration,the reaction forces and moments of Bennett's linkage. 18Microstructure evolution of an Mg-Zn-Nd-Zr magnesium alloy during recrystallization and partial remelting process显示文摘To obtain a spheroidal microstructure of a semi-solid Mg-Zn-Nd-Zr alloy,which is favorable for the subsequent thixocasting process,the recrystallization and partial remelting(RAP)method was used in this study,and the microstructure evolution of the alloy and the mechanism of the shape factor change during the RAP process were invesigated.The as-cast Mg-Zn-Nd-Zr alloy was prepared in a metal mold and then extruded into bars with an extrusion ratio of 16:1.Partial remelting was carried out on the extruded samples at 589℃(at a heating rate of 0.5℃·s-1)for different holding times ranging from 0 to 90 min.To examine the effect of heating rate,partial remelting of samples at the heating rate of 2℃·s-1was also performed.Results show that the extruded microstructure rapidly evolutes into recrystallized grains in the semi-solid state;the liquid f ilm initially forms at grain boundaries during the partial remelting,and then gradually changes from continuous into discontinuous state with the increase of holding time;this results in the agglomeration of adjacent grains and the decrease in shape factor.The value of shape factor increases continuously with holding time at f irst and reaches the maximum 0.62 when holding for 60 min,while decreases rapidly after a prolonged holding time.Moreover,local melting,mainly due to the inhomogeneous deformation during extrusion,becomes more signif icant and less uniformly distributed at a relatively higher reheating rate.The Mg-Zn-Nd-Zr magnesium alloy components have been thixo-cast successfully using the RAP method,which strongly proves the feasibility of RAP process in Mg-Zn-Nd-Zr alloy.Tao Jianquan Wan Yuanyuan Sun Changjian Su Zhiquan Deng Tianquan Huang Jing 2013China Foundry2013,10,4:4

20Effect of size and crystalline phase of TiO2 nanotubes on cell behaviors: A high throughput study using gradient TiO2 nanotubes显示文摘The research of TiO2 nanotubes(TNTs)in the field of biomedicine has been increasingly active.However,given the diversity of the nanoscale dimension and controversial reports,our understanding of the structure-property relationships of TNTs is not yet complete.In this paper,gradient TNTs with a wide diameter range of 20-350 nm were achieved by bipolar electrochemistry and utilized for a thorough high-throughput study of the effect of nanotube dimension and crystalline phase on protein adsorption and cell behaviors.Results indicated that protein adsorption escalated with nanotube dimension whereas cell proliferation and differentiation are preferred on small diameter(<70 nm)nanotubes.Large diameter anatase nanotubes had higher adsorption of serum proteins than as-prepared ones.But only as-prepared small diameter nanotubes presented slightly higher cell proliferation than corresponding annealed nanotubes whereas there was no discernible difference between as-prepared and annealed nanotubes on cell differentiation for the entire gradient.Those findings replenish previous research about how cell responses to TNTs with a wide diameter range and provide scientific guidance for the optimal design of biomedical materials.Yanran Li Si Wang Yuanjun Dong Ping Mu Yun Yang Xiangyang Liu Changjian Lin Qiaoling Huang 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,4:3
