2Microwave Assisted Hydrothermal Way Towards Highly Crystalized N-Doped Carbon Quantum Dots and Their Oxygen Reduction Performance显示文摘We proposed a green microwave-assisted hydrothermal way to synthesize highly crystalized N-doped carbon quantum dots(N-CQDs).The N-CQDs obtained by this microwave method have good crystalline degree(ID/IG=0.6)and a high molar ratio of N/C(11.1%)comparing with those obtained from traditional top-down method.The experimental results show that glycerine plays a key role ill the fonnation of highly crystalized N-CQDs.The as-prepared N-CQDs have good luminescent property and may be utilized as fluorescent probe to detect ions or mark cells.As the majority of N atoms in the N-CQDs were pyridinic type(64.8%),the as-prepared N-CQDs were used as a catalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalysis in the anode of the fuel cell(the onset potential is-0.121V),which was a 4e-transfer procedure and the catalyst showed good stability after 100 cycles.HUANG He LIANG Chen SHA Haoyan YU Ying LOU Yue CHEN Cailing LI Chunguang CHEN Xiaobo SHI Zhan FENG Shouhua 2019Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2019,35,2:1
3Effects of different machine transplanting methods on the physiological and yield characteristics of late rice in China显示文摘To address problems caused by rice machine transplanting such as injury to the seedlings and recovery period that extend growth period,this study explored the effects of different machine transplanting methods on the physiological and yield characteristics of late rice in China,and determine the appropriate machine transplanting method for late rice,which was expected to provide a basis for high-yield and high-efficient cultivation of machine-transplanted late rice.Hybrid indica rice Taiyou 398 and conventional indica rice Jing Gangruanzhan were selected as the research objects,and large-pot carpet seedling machine transplanting(M1),conventional pot carpet seedling machine transplanting(M2)and ordinary carpet seedling machine transplanting(M3)were adopted respectively to analyze their effects on seedling quality,population physiological characteristics,yield and its components and economic benefits of late rice.The results showed that compared with M2 and M3,M1 achieved higher seedling quality,showing significant advantages in the early stage despite average root entwining force that met the requirement of machine transplanting.The seedlings transplanted using M1 had shorter recovery period after mechanical transplanting,with earlier tillering,earlier peak seedling,and slower declining of stems and tillers in the late stage;the peak seedling number was not high,but the effective tiller number and earbearing tiller percentage were significantly higher than those achieved by the other two machine transplanting methods.Also,M1 achieved stronger photosynthetic capacity of flag leaves before HS,with more photosynthetic products in stems and leaves transported to panicles and more efficiently after HS.Compared with seedlings transplanted using M2 and M3,the recovery period of those transplanted using M1 was shortened by 3 and 5 d,the heading stage(HS),and maturity stage(MS)were advanced,which effectively reduced the risk and impact of“cold dew wind”on machine-transplanted late rice.M1 had significant yield increase advantage and economic benefit,with better grain maturity,and“larger panicles,more panicles,more and fuller grains”.M1 achieved an average yield increase of 10.31%-11.10%,20.67%-25.10%in 2 years,and an average income increase of 18.65%-131.06%and 62.85%-323.78%,respectively.Therefore,vigorously developing M1 is the key to the high-yield and high-efficient cultivation of machine-transplanted late rice in China.Xuan Jia Yonglei Li Jiannong Song Cailing Liu Xiaolin Cao Licai Chen Lipengcheng Wan Xiang Ma 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,6:0

5Extracellular vesicle-carried GTF2I from mesenchymal stem cells promotes the expression of tumor-suppressive FAT1 and inhibits stemness maintenance in thyroid carcinoma显示文摘Through bioinformatics predictions,we identified that GTF2I and FAT1 were downregulated in thyroid carcinoma(TC).Further,Pearson’s correlation coefficient revealed a positive correlation between GTF2I expression and FAT1 expression.Therefore,we selected them for this present study,where the effects of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived EVs(BMSDs-EVs)enriched with GTF2I were evaluated on the epithelial–to–mesenchymal transition(EMT)and stemness maintenance in TC.The under-expression of GTF2I and FAT1 was validated in TC cell lines.Ectopically expressed GTF2I and FAT1 were found to augment malignant phenotypes of TC cells,EMT,and stemness maintenance.Mechanistic studies revealed that GTF2I bound to the promoter region of FAT1 and consequently upregulated its expression.MSC-EVs could shuttle GTF2I into TPC-1 cells,where GTF2I inhibited TC malignant phenotypes,EMT,and stemness maintenance by increasing the expression of FAT1 and facilitating the FAT1-mediated CDK4/FOXM1 downregulation.In vivo experiments confirmed that silencing of GTF2I accelerated tumor growth in nude mice.Taken together,our work suggests that GTF2I transferred by MSC-EVs confer antioncogenic effects through the FAT1/CDK4/FOXM1 axis and may be used as a promising biomarker for TC treatment.Jie Shao Wenjuan Wang Baorui Tao Zihao Cail Haixia Li Jinhong Chen 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,6:0
6Synergistic roles of platinum nanoparticles and sodium ions within beta zeolites in N-alkylation of amines with aromatic alcohols显示文摘N-alkylation of amines with alcohols is a promising green route for the synthesis of N-alkylamines, but the designation of highly active and stable heterogeneous catalysts remains one challenge. In this work, we initiated the application of zeolite-encapsulated noble metal nanoparticles(NPs) in the N-alkylation of amines with aromatic alcohols. Platinum(Pt) NPs were directly confined into the framework of BEA zeolite with tunable Si/Al molar ratios and Na^(+) contents. The champion catalyst afforded the extremely high turnover number(TON) of 6,176 and turnover frequency(TOF) of 3,390 h^(-1) plus stable recyclability and broad substrate compatibility. The Na ions modulated the electronic state of Pt NPs to reach a moderate Pt–H strength, which wellbalanced the two crucial steps of dehydrogenation and H-transfer and accounted for the high catalytic performance. 7Staphylococcus epidermidis meningitis in combination with acute disseminated encephalomyelitis A case report显示文摘A nine-year-old girl with Staphylococcus epidermidis meningitis combined with acute disseminated encephalomyelitis(ADEM) was enrolled in the present study,and exhibited sustained fever and headache for 5 days and a single seizure episode.Meningeal irritation and disturbance of consciousness were apparent.Cerebrospinal fluid examination revealed increased protein level and pleocytosis.Cerebrospinal fluid culture demonstrated Staphylococcus epidermidis growth.The patient was treated with intravenous cefotaxime,intravenous dexamethasone,and decreasing intracranial pressure for 3 weeks.Seizures and fever symptoms improved,but disturbance of consciousness,muscle weakness,and bilateral limb paresis were significant.IgG index was elevated and oligoclonal bands were positive in the cerebrospinal fluid.Magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated high T2-weighted signals in subcortical white matter,which were consistent with ADEM.High-dose methylprednisolone for 3 days and a 6-day pulse therapy with immunoglobulins resulted in improved clinical symptoms and cerebrospinal fluid examination.The patient's temperature dropped to normal,and the headache disappeared.A Staphylococcus epidermidis infection associated with ADEM is uncommon in children.Results suggested that Staphylococcus epidermidis infection could be a pathogenic factor for ADEM,and ADEM is a complication of Staphylococcus epidermidis meningitis.Xin Chen Haijin Chen Zhiqin Liu Cailing Chen Fenping Luo Zhichun Feng 2009Neural Regeneration Research2009,4,11:0
8Air-Resistant Lead Halide Perovskite Nanocrystals Embedded into Polyimide of Intrinsic Microporosity显示文摘Although cesium lead halide perovskite(CsPbX3,X=Cl,Br,or I)nanocrystals(PNCs)have been rapidly developed for multiple optoelectronic applications due to their outstanding optical and transport properties,their device fabrication and commercialization have been limited by their low structural stability,especially under environmental conditions.In this work,a new approach has been developed to protect the surface of these nanocrystals,which results in enhanced chemical stability and optical properties.This method is based on the encapsulation of CsPbX3 NCs into a polyimide with intrinsic microporosity(PIM-PI),4,4′-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride reacted with 2,4,6-trimethyl-m-phenylenediamine(6FDATrMPD).The presence of 6FDA-TrMPD as a protective layer can efficiently isolate NCs from an air environment and subsequently enhance their optical and photoluminescence stability.More specifically,comparing NCs treated with a polymer to as-synthesized nanocrystals after 168 h,we observe that the PL intensity decreased by 70%and 20%for the NCs before and after polymer treatment.In addition,the PNC film with a polymer shows a much longer excited-state lifetime than the as-synthesized nanocrystals,indicating that the surface trap states are significantly reduced in the treated PNCs.The enhancement in chemical and air stability,as well as optical behavior,will further improve the performance of CsPbBr3 PNCs yielding promising optical devices and paving the way for their production and implementation at a large scale.Haoze Yang Luis Gutiérrez-Arzaluz Partha Maity Mahmoud AAbdulhamid Jun Yin Yang Zhou Cailing Chen Yu Han Gyorgy Szekely Osman M.Bakr Omar F.Mohammed 2021Energy Material Advances2021,,1:0
