1近红外光谱技术及其在中药道地性研究中的应用显示文摘作者在介绍了近红外光谱化学原理、光学原理、信息学原理及化学计量学分析的基础上,分析了近红外光谱分析的特点及道地性研究和道地药材鉴别的难点,进而指出近红外光谱的全息性特征,使其在道地性研究中具有极大优势。重点以道地药材的近红外鉴别和道地性研究为目标,借鉴农牧业、食品、烟酒等其他行业的研究成果,分析并阐明了近红外光谱在道地药材鉴别和评价,道地药材生境研究及评价,道地药材遗传特异性研究方面应用的现实性。并讨论了模型的可靠性、适用性和可推广性几个近红外光谱在道地药材研究应用中的关键问题,为道地性现代诠释及道地药材鉴别提出了新思路和新方法。郭兰萍 黄璐琦 Christian W Huck 2009中国中药杂志2009,34,14:32
2Response evaluation of chemotherapy in metastatic colorectal cancer by contrast enhanced ultrasound显示文摘AIM:To evaluate whether contrast enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) might also be used for response prediction and early response evaluation in patients receiving bevacizumab based chemotherapy for metastasized colorectal cancer.METHODS:Thirty consecutive patients with non primary resectable liver metastases from colorectal cancer underwent CEUS before treatment(CEUS date 1) and before the second(CEUS date 2) and fourth(CEUS date 3) cycle of bevacizumab based chemotherapy.Three parameters [PEAK,Time to peak(TTP) and RISE RATE]were correlated with radiological response.RESULTS:For neoadjuvant purpose a reduction of tumour mass was required to assume clinical response.Based on these response criteria there was a significant(P < 0.001) correlation in TTP between metastases of responders(9.08 s) and non-responders(14.76 s) archived on CEUS date 1.By calculating a standardized quotient(metastases divided by normal liver tissue) we were able to define a cut off,predicting response with a sensitivity of 92.3 % and a specificity of 100 %.To reflect a palliative intention only those patients with progressive disease were classified as non-responders.In this stetting TTP was also significantly(P < 0.01) different between responders and non-responders.In contrast,Peak and Rise rate did not show any significant difference between responder and non-responder.CONCLUSION:CEUS might serve as a surrogate marker to predict treatment response in patients with metastasized colorectal cancer who receive antiangiogenic therapy.Ramin Schirin-Sokhan Ron Winograd Christoph Roderburg Jhenee Bubenzer Nicole Cabral do ó Dorothee Guggenberger Hartmut Hecker Christian Trautwein Jens J W Tischendorf 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,6:16
3Retrospective study on mixed neuroendocrine non-neuroendocrine neoplasms from five European centres显示文摘BACKGROUND Mixed neuroendocrine non-neuroendocrine neoplasm(MiNEN)is a rare diagnosis,mainly encountered in the gastro-entero-pancreatic tract.There is limited knowledge of its epidemiology,prognosis and biology,and the best management for affected patients is still to be defined.AIM To investigate clinical-pathological characteristics,treatment modalities and survival outcomes of a retrospective cohort of patients with a diagnosis of MiNEN.METHODS Consecutive patients with a histologically proven diagnosis of MiNEN were identified at 5 European centres.Patient data were retrospectively collected from medical records.Pathological samples were reviewed to ascertain compliance with the 2017 World Health Organisation definition of MiNEN.Tumour responses to systemic treatment were assessed according to the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumours 1.1.Kaplan-Meier analysis was applied to estimate survival outcomes.Associations between clinical-pathological characteristics and survival outcomes were explored using Log-rank test for equality of survivors functions(univariate)and Cox-regression analysis(multivariable).RESULTS Sixty-nine consecutive patients identified;Median age at diagnosis:64 years.Males:63.8%.Localised disease(curable):53.6%.Commonest sites of origin:colon-rectum(43.5%)and oesophagus/oesophagogastric junction(15.9%).The neuroendocrine component was;predominant in 58.6%,poorly differentiated in 86.3%,and large cell in 81.25%,of cases analysed.Most distant metastases analysed(73.4%)were occupied only by a poorly differentiated neuroendocrine component.Ninety-four percent of patients with localised disease underwent curative surgery;53%also received perioperative treatment,most often in line with protocols for adenocarcinomas from the same sites of origin.Chemotherapy was offered to most patients(68.1%)with advanced disease,and followed protocols for pure neuroendocrine carcinomas or adenocarcinomas in equal proportion.In localised cases,median recurrence free survival(RFS);14.0 months(95%CI:9.2-24.4),and median overall survival(OS):28.6 months(95%CI:18.3-41.1).On univariate analysis,receipt of perioperative treatment(vs surgery alone)did not improve RFS(P=0.375),or OS(P=0.240).In advanced cases,median progression free survival(PFS);5.6 months(95%CI:4.4-7.4),and median OS;9.0 months(95%CI:5.2-13.4).On univariate analysis,receipt of palliative active treatment(vs best supportive care)prolonged PFS and OS(both,P<0.001).CONCLUSION MiNEN is most commonly driven by a poorly differentiated neuroendocrine component,and has poor prognosis.Advances in its biological understanding are needed to identify effective treatments and improve patient outcomes.Melissa Frizziero Xin Wang Bipasha Chakrabarty Alexa Childs Tu V Luong Thomas Walter Mohid S Khan Meleri Morgan Adam Christian Mona Elshafie Tahir Shah Annamaria Minicozzi Wasat Mansoor Tim Meyer Angela Lamarca Richard A Hubner Juan W Valle Mairéad G McNamara 2019World Journal of Gastroenterology2019,25,39:13
4Particle-size-dependent upconversion luminescence of NaYF4:Yb,Er nanoparticles in organic solvents and water at different excitation power densities显示文摘A systematic study of the luminescence properties of monodisperse β-NaYF4: 20%Yb^3+,2%Er^3+ upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs)with sizes ranging from 12--43nm is presented utilizing steady-state and time-resolved fluorometry. Special emphasis was dedicated to the absolute quantification of size-and environment-induced quenching of upconversion luminescence (UCL)by highenergy O-H and C-H vibrations from solvent and ligand molecules at different excitation power densities (P).In this context,the still-debated population pathways of the 4F9/2 energy level of Er^3+ were examined.Our results highlight the potential of particle size and P value for color tuning based on the pronounced near-infrared emission of 12nm UCNPs,which outweighs the red Er^3+emission under 'strongly quenched'conditions and accounts for over 50% of total UCL in water.Because current rate equation models do not include such emissions,the suitability of these models for accurately simulating all (de)population pathways of small UCNPs must be critically assessed.Furthermore,we postulate population pathways for the 4F9/2energy level of Er3.,Which correlate with the size-,environment-,and P-dependent quenching states of the higher Er^3+ energy levels.Marco Kraft Christian Würth Verena Muhr Thomas Hirsch Ute Resch-Genger 2018Nano Research2018,11,12:8

6Multiband emission from single β-NaYF_(4)(Yb,Er) nanoparticles at high excitation power densities and comparison to ensemble studies显示文摘Ensemble and single particle studies of the excitation power density (P)-dependent upconversion luminescence (UCL) of core and core-shell β-NaYF_(4):Yb,Er upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) doped with 20% Yb^(3+) and 1% or 3% Er^(^(3+)) performed over a P regime of 6 orders of magnitude reveal an increasing contribution of the emission from high energy Er^(3+) levels at P > 1 kW/cm^(2). This changes the overall emission color from initially green over yellow to white. While initially the green and with increasing P the red emission dominate in ensemble measurements at P < 1 kW/cm^(2), the increasing population of higher Er^(^(3+)) energy levels by multiphotonic processes at higher P in single particle studies results in a multitude of emission bands in the ultraviolet/visible/near infrared (UV/vis/NIR) accompanied by a decreased contribution of the red luminescence. Based upon a thorough analysis of the P-dependence of UCL, the emission bands activated at high P were grouped and assigned to 2–3, 3–4, and 4 photonic processes involving energy transfer (ET), excited-state absorption (ESA), cross-relaxation (CR), back energy transfer (BET), and non-radiative relaxation processes (nRP). 8Emission from quantum-dot high-β microcavities: transition from spontaneous emission to lasing and the effects of superradiant emitter coupling显示文摘Measured and calculated results are presented for the emission properties of a new class of emitters operating in the cavity quantum electrodynamics regime.The structures are based on high-finesse GaAs/AlAs micropillar cavities,each with an active medium consisting of a layer of InGaAs quantum dots(QDs)and the distinguishing feature of having a substantial fraction of spontaneous emission channeled into one cavity mode(highβ-factor).This paper demonstrates that the usual criterion for lasing with a conventional(lowβ-factor)cavity,that is,a sharp non-linearity in the input–output curve accompanied by noticeable linewidth narrowing,has to be reinforced by the equal-time second-order photon autocorrelation function to confirm lasing.The paper also shows that the equal-time second-order photon autocorrelation function is useful for recognizing superradiance,a manifestation of the correlations possible in high-βmicrocavities operating with QDs.In terms of consolidating the collected data and identifying the physics underlying laser action,both theory and experiment suggest a sole dependence on intracavity photon number.Evidence for this assertion comes from all our measured and calculated data on emission coherence and fluctuation,for devices ranging from light-emitting diodes(LEDs)and cavity-enhanced LEDs to lasers,lying on the same two curves:one for linewidth narrowing versus intracavity photon number and the other for g(2)(0)versus intracavity photon number.Sören Kreinberg Weng W Chow Janik Wolters Christian Schneider Christopher Gies Frank Jahnke Sven Höfling Martin Kamp Stephan Reitzenstein 2017Light(Science & Applications)2017,6,1:2
