Evolution of the Ediacaran Doushantuoian Meta-Paleo-Community in Northeast Guizhou,South China显示文摘宏观的有机体在 Ediacaran 的迟了的 Doushantuo 句号期间住在华南的 Yangtze 海。 WANG Yue CHEN Hongde WANG Xunlian HUANG Yuming 2011Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2011,85,3:4
Integrated lithium niobate single-mode lasers by the Vernier effect显示文摘Microcavity lasers based on erbium-doped lithium niobate on insulator(LNOI),which are key devices for LNOI integrated photonics, have attracted significant attention recently. In this study,we report the realization of a C-band single-mode laser using the Vernier effect in two coupled erbium-doped LNOI microrings with different radii under the pump of a 980-nm continuous laser. The laser, operating stably over a large range of pumping power, has a pump threshold of about 200μW and a side-mode suppression ratio exceeding 26 dB.The high-performance LNOI single-mode laser will promote the development of lithium niobate integrated photonics.Ru Zhang Chen Yang ZhenZhong Hao Di Jia Qiang Luo DaHuai Zheng HongDe Liu XuanYi Yu Feng Gao Fang Bo YongFa Kong GuoQuan Zhang JingJun Xu 2021Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,9:4
Microdisk lasers on an erbium-doped lithium-niobite chip显示文摘Lithium niobate on insulator(LNOI) provides a platform for the fundamental physics investigations and practical applications of integrated photonics. However, as an indispensable building block of integrated photonics, lasers are in short supply. In this paper, erbium-doped LNOI laser in the 1550-nm band was demonstrated in microdisk cavities with high quality factors fabricated in batches by UV exposure, inductively coupled plasma reactive ion etching, and chemomechanical polishing. The threshold and conversion efficiency of the erbium-doped LNOI microdisk laser were measured to be lower than 1 m W and 6.5×10^(-5)%, respectively. This work will benefit the development of integrated photonics based on LNOI.Qiang Luo ZhenZhong Hao Chen Yang Ru Zhang DaHuai Zheng ShiGuo Liu HongDe Liu Fang Bo YongFa Kong GuoQuan Zhang JingJun Xu 2021Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,3:4
A Free Surface Frequency Domain Green Function with Viscous Dissipation and Partial Reflections from Side Walls显示文摘The free-surface Green function method is widely used in solving the radiation or diffraction problems caused by a ship or ocean structure oscillating on the waves. In the context of inviscid potential flow, hydrodynamic problems such as multi-body interaction and tank side wall effect cannot be properly dealt with based on the traditional free-surface frequency domain Green function method, in which the water viscosity is omitted and the energy dissipation effect is absent. In this paper, an open-sea Green function with viscous dissipation was presented within the theory of visco-potential flow. Then the tank Green function with a partial reflection from the side walls in wave tanks was formulated as a formal sum of open-sea Green functions representing the infinite images between two parallel side walls of the source in the tank. The new far-field characteristics of the tank Green function is vitally important for improving the validity of side-wall effects evaluation, which can be used in supervising the tank model tests.Hongde Qin Jing Shen Xiaobo Chen 2011Journal of Marine Science and Application2011,10,3:2

Single-cell brain atlas of Parkinson's disease mouse model显示文摘Parkinson's disease(PD)is a neurodegenerative disease, leading to the impairment of movement execution.PD pathogenesis has been largely investigated, either limited to bulk transcriptomic levels or at certain cell types, which failed to capture the cellular heterogeneity and intrinsic interplays among distinct cell types. Here,we report the application of single-nucleus RNA-seq on midbrain, striatum, and cerebellum of theα-syn-A53 T mouse,a well-established PD mouse model, and matched controls, generating the first single cell transcriptomic atlas for the PD model mouse brain composed of 46,174 individual cells.Additionally,we comprehensively depicte the dysfunctions in PD pathology, covering the elevation of NF-k B activity, the alteration of ion channel components, the perturbation of protein homeostasis network, and the dysregulation of glutamatergic signaling.Notably,we identify a variety of cell types closely associated with PD risk genes.Taken together, our study provides valuable resources to systematically dissect the molecular mechanism of PD pathogenesis at the single-cell resolution, which facilitates the development of novel approaches for diagnosis and therapies against PD.Jixing Zhong Gen Tang Jiacheng Zhu Weiying Wu Ge Li Xiumei Lin Langchao Liang Chaochao Chai Yuying Zeng Feiyue Wang Lihua Luo Jiankang Li Fang Chen Zhen Huang Xiuqing Zhang Yu Zhang Hongde Liu Xin Qiu Shengping Tang Dongsheng Chen 2021Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,4:1

Geological Features of Devonian Sedimentary Basins in South China and Their Deposition and Mineralization显示文摘The Devonian succession in South China is well-known for its complete development, vari-fied sedimentary types, remarkable lithofacies variation and abundant mineral resources. The South China plate was formed by the collision and collage of the Yangtze plate and the Cathaysian plate. The collision began approximately at the Jinningian stage and the collage was not finalized until the Guangxian movement. It was on the South China plate with a somewhat different nature of the basement that the Devonian deposition formed.Liu Wenjun, Zhang Jinquan and Chen Hongde Chengdu College of Geology, Chengdu, Sichuan 1994Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)1994,68,1:1
A new approach to the prediction of transmembrane structures显示文摘About 20%-30% of genome products have been predicted as membrane proteins, which have sig-nificant biological functions. The prediction of the amount and position for the transmembrane protein helical segments (TMHs) is the hot spot in bioinformatics. In this paper, a new approach, maximum spectrum of continuous wavelet transform (MSCWT), is proposed to predict TMHs. The predictions for eight SARS-CoV membrane proteins indicate that MSCWT has the same capacity with software TMpred. Moreover, the test on a dataset of 131 structure-known proteins with 548 TMHs shows that the predic-tion accuracy of MSCWT for TMHs is 91.6% and that for membrane protein is 89.3%.LIU HongDe WANG Rui LU XiaoQuan CHEN Jing LIU XiuHui DING Lan 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,7:1

Voltammetry and fluorescence studies on the interaction between Eu(phen)_3^(+3)and DNA显示文摘The binding mode of Eu(phen) 33+ with DNA is studied by fluorescence and voltammetric methods. From theScatchard graph and the fluorescence quenching phenomenon, it is concluded that the mode of interaction betweenEu(phen) 33+ and DNA is intercalation bind by inserting the phen π-π conjugate surface between the base pairs of theDNA duplex. Voltammetry was used to confirm the results obtained from the fluorescence method, the result from bothmethods agrees with each other. The binding constant (K) and the binding site size (ns) were calculated from voltammetricdata such as the shifts in potential and limiting currents in the process of adding DNA, according to the positive shifts ofpeak potential. It was considered that the complex of the +2 ion interacted more favorably with the nucleotide bases thanthat of the +3 ion by hydrophobic interaction.KANG Jingwan, CHEN Jing, LU Xiaoquan, SONG Yuming, ZENG Hongjuan, LIU Hongde, and WANG yongshengDepartment of Chemistry, Northwest Normal University, Lanzhou 730070, China (Received 2002-04-02) 2003Rare Metals2003,22,2:0

Effect of Mo Addition on the Microstructure and Properties of TiNiNb Alloy显示文摘The influence of Mo addition on the microstructure and properties of TiNiNb alloy with 4.5 at.% Nb has been investigated systemically. The experimental results indicated that the uniform distribution of Mo depresses the appearance of coarse b-Nb particles at the grain boundaries and short stripped texture consisting of abundant fine disperse Nb-rich particles appears around the grain boundaries. The yield strength of the alloy was enhanced from 450 to 600 MPa due to the solution strengthening of Nb and Mo and the elongation reached 18% when the Mo content is 0.5 at.%.At the same time, the shape memory effect of the alloy also is improved significantly by the Mo addition. The maximum recoverable strain of the alloy with 0.5 at.% Mo is near 8% and has reached the high level of Ni–Ti binary alloys. This novel highstrength alloy is promising to be used for high pressure tube and the macro-scale coupling with higher-quality requirements.Haichang Jiang Ying Chen Dan Yang Hongding Sun Jianmin Zeng Lijian Rong 2014Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2014,27,2:0
