| 2 | Microstructural evolution and energetic characteristics of TiZrHfTa_(0.7)W_(0.3)high-entropy alloy under high strain rates and its application in high-velocity penetration显示文摘Energetic structural materials(ESMs)integrated a high energy density and rapid energy release with the ability to serve as structural materials.Here,a novel triple-phase TiZrHfTa_(0.7)W_(0.3)high-entropy alloy(HEA)was fabricated and investigated as a potential ESM.A hierarchical microstructure was obtained with a main metastable body-centered-cubic(BCC)matrix with distributed Ta-W-rich BCC precipitates of various sizes and interwoven hexagonal close-packed(HCP)lamellar nano-plates.The compressive me-chanical properties were tested across a range of strain rates and demonstrated a brittle-to-ductile tran-sition as the strain rate increased while maintaining a high ultimate strength of approximately 2.5 GPa.This was due to the phase transformation from metastable matrix BCC to HCP structures.In addition,during the dynamic deformation,metal combustion originating from the failure surface was observed.Furthermore,the composition of the fragments was studied,and the results indicated that the addition of tungsten promoted combustion.Finally,the potential application of this HEA was evaluated by high-velocity penetration tests,and the results were compared to other typical structural materials for pene-trators and bullets.A comparison was conducted by assessing the geometries of the penetration channel employing two dimensionless parameters normalized by the projectile size,representing longitudinal and lateral damage,respectively.The normalized depth of the TiZrHfTa_(0.7)W_(0.3)HEA projectile was comparable to those of the other investigated materials,but the normalized diameter was the largest,showing an excellent ability to deliver lateral damage. | Weiqi Tang Kun Zhang Tianyu Chen Qiu Wang Bingchen Wei | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,1: | 3 |

| 8 | Targeting self-enhanced ROS-responsive artesunatum prodrug nanoassembly potentiates gemcitabine activity by down-regulating CDA expression in cervical cancer显示文摘Prodrug self-delivery carriers with targeting that specifically responded to tumor microenvironments have good potential to improve the application dilemma of approved clinical therapeutic drugs(systemic distribution and side effects).It's noted the conversion of gemcitabine(GEM)to inactive ingredients under the action of cytidine deaminase(CDA)during metabolism in vivo limits its clinical effect.A high level of reactive oxygen species(ROS)results in a high level of oxidative stress in tumor cells,which changes the expression of CDA and optimizes the metabolism of GEM in vivo and overcome drug resistance.In this study,the ROS responsive and ROS self-supplied prodrug of artemisia(ART)-thioacetal bond(TK)-GEM was synthesized and self-vectors based on ART-TK-GEM(TK@FA NPs)was prepared by using nano precipitation.ROS responsive characteristics ensure specific release of prodrugs in tumor cells with high level of ROS thereby reducing side effects on normal cells and tissues.The endogenous ROS and newly generated ROS by ART can reduce the expression of CDA and optimizes the metabolism of GEM,and the accumulated ROS can also induce apoptosis of tumor cells,realizing synergistic anti-tumor effect of chemical drugs and traditional Chinese medicines.This paper proposes a simple method by using clinically approved drugs to improve the insufficient effect of existing chemotherapy and overcome resistance,which has potential to appropriately shorten the drug development cycle and accelerate the clinical investigation of drugs. | Shengtao Wang Kunyi Yu Zhiyu Yu Bingchen Zhang Chaojie Chen Ling Lin Zibo Li Zhongjun Li Yuhua Zheng Zhiqiang Yu | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,7: | 0 |
| 9 | Diffusion Characteristics of Swells in the North Indian Ocean显示文摘Research on the diffusion characteristics of swells contributes positively to wave energy forecasting, swell monitoring, and early warning. In this work, the South Indian Ocean westerly index(SIWI) and Indian Ocean swell diffusion effect index(IOSDEI) are defined on the basis of the 45-year(September 1957–August 2002) ERA-40 wave reanalysis data from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts(ECMWF) to analyze the impact of the South Indian Ocean westerlies on the propagation of swell acreage. The following results were obtained: 1) The South Indian Ocean swell mainly propagates from southwest to northeast. The swell also spreads to the Arabian Sea upon reaching low-latitude waters. The 2.0-meter contour of the swell can reach northward to Sri Lankan waters. 2) The size of the IOSDEI is determined by the SIWI strength. The IOSDEI requires approximately 2–3.5 days to fully respond to the SIWI. The correlations between SIWI and IOSDEI show obvious seasonal differences, with the highest correlations found in December–January–February(DJF) and the lowest correlations observed in June–July–August(JJA). 3) The SIWI and IOSDEI have a common period of approximately 1 week in JJA and DJF. | 11 | Stabilizing SEI by cyclic ethers toward enhanced K^(+) storage in graphite显示文摘The poor cycling stability of graphite in traditional ester electrolyte limits its applications as anodes for potassium ion batteries(KIBs).Herein,we demonstrate that the introduction of cyclic ether co-solvents into ester electrolytes can remarkably enhance the cycling stability of graphite anodes.The graphite anode in ester electrolyte with cyclic ether could achieve a reversible capacity of 196.1 m Ah g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 0.3 C(1 C=280 m A g^(-1)),about three times higher than those in ester electrolytes with or without linear ether.Compared with the SEI formed in ester electrolytes,the addition of tetrahydrofuran promotes the generation of K_(2)CO_(3) and ethylene oxide oligomers(PEO),of which the K_(2)CO_(3) is expected to be more conductive and PEO is mechanically robust.The more uniform,conductive and stable solid electrolyte interphases(SEIs)on graphite in electrolytes with cyclic ethers contribute to the enhancement of the electrochemical performances of graphite.This work provides a novel design of commercialized electrolytes to achieve high-performance anodes for KIBs,which potentially accelerates the development of KIBs. | Jiesong Zhang Jian-Fang Wu Zixing Wang Ying Mo Wang Zhou Yufan Peng Bingchen He Kuikui Xiao Shi Chen Chaohe Xu Jilei Liu | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,8: | 0 |
