| 1 | Meta-analysis of the relationship between Epstein-Barr virus infection and clinicopathological features of patients with gastric carcinoma显示文摘Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection has been causally associated with occurrence of many malignant neoplasms. EBV-encoded small RNAs (EBERs) have been detected from about 10% of gastric carcinoma tissue cells, suggesting that EBV infection is associated with the development of gastric carcinoma. The present study pooled the data from the papers concerning EBV-related gastric cancers and performed a meta-analysis of 22 research papers. Among these papers, a total of 5475 cases with gastric cancer were enrolled, of whom 411 cases were found EBV-positive, with the EBV-positive rate being 7.5%. Among the EBV-positive gastric cancer cases, the detection rate was 11.1% in males and 3.0% in females. Compared with EBV-negative gastric cancer, EBV-positive gastric cancer had less lymph node metastasis. Based on the histological typing, of the EBV-positive gastric cancers, the diffuse type was 8.1%, and intestinal type was 8.0%. The examined specimen types included stored paraffin blocks and fresh surgically removed specimens, their EBV positive rates were 7.9% and 6.5% respectively. In terms of geographical distribution, the detection rate of EBV-positive gastric cancer was 9.4% in America, 6.1% in Asia and 9.1% in Europe. Meta-analysis showed that EBV infection occurred only in gastric cancer tissue cells and was significantly associated with the patients’ gender, lymph node metastases, and the location where tumor tissue generated and geographical distribution (P<0.05), but was not significantly associated with the patients’ histological types of tumor and the types of specimens (P>0.05). | 2 | Current distribution and stability of LTS/HTS hybrid superconducting conductors显示文摘Current distribution and stability of a hybrid LTS/HTS superconductor, consisting of multifilamentary NbTi/Cu and Bi2223/Ag tapes, were numerically analyzed according to power-law models. The results showed that most of current passed through the LTS and the current increased in the HTS with temperature rise when the transport current was below the critical current of the hybrid conductor. The quench propagation velocity of the hybrid conductor was smaller but its minimum quench energy was larger than those of LTS conductors, indicating that the stability of the hybrid superconducting conductor was effectively improved and a high engineering current density was simultaneously achieved. Finally, a hybrid sample, made by soldering Bi2223/Ag tape onto NbTi/Cu conductor, was prepared and tested successfully at helium temperature. | 4 | Human hepatopoietin augmenter of liver regeneration──A hepatotrophic factor for liver regeneration, and its potential antihepatitis effect in vivo显示文摘The effect of human hapatopoietin i.e. augmenter of liver regeneration (hALR) was determined on hepatocyte DNA synthesis, and on CCl 4-induced hepatitis in animal in vitro and in vivo. It is found that ALR could directly stimulate DNA synthesis of hepatocytes in primary culture in a dose-dependent manner. In 30% hepatectomied rats, significant DNA synthesis occurred in control rats ; even so, exogenous hALR gene encoding protein increased DNA synthesis of regeneration liver by 2.3 fold compared with control rats. A lower dose of CCl 4 was administrated in rats and the effect of ALR on DNA synthesis of regenerating liver 48 h after CCl 4 administration was analyzed. Few Budr-labeled hepatocytes were visible in control rats. However, exogenous hALR markedly increased the number of labeled cells in a dose-dependent manner. Statistical analysis showed that 10 or 40 μg·kg -1 ALR protein stimulated DNA synthesis by 1.7 and 4.8 fold respectively. In addition to enhancing cell growth, adiministration of hALR achieved a significant improvement in reversing the lethality of rat hepatic failure when compared with that of control group; the elevation of cytosolic enzymes was dramatically suppressed by exogenous hALR in CCl 4-treated mice in vivo and in vitro; histologically, hepatocytes around the central vein were necrotic, and the degree of hepatocyte necrosis in control mice was more prominent than that in the mice given 40 μg·kg-1 hALR 48 h after CCl 4 administration. We also noted that hALR had a strong antihepatitis effect in vitro which was determined with primary cultured rat hepatocytes. These findings suggest that hALR protects the integrity of hepatocytes against severe hepatitis, and indicate that ALR may be an important regulator of liver regeneration and play a major role in liver injury repair. | 5 | Kinetics and Mechanism of the Oxidation of Glycol by Dihydroxyditelluratoargentate(Ⅲ) with Spectrophotometry显示文摘The kinetics of the oxidation of glycol by dihydroxyditelluratoargentate (Ⅲ) complex(DDA) was studied in alkaline medium with spectrophotometry(in a temperature range of 16\^6—40 ℃). The first order rates with respect to glycol and Ag(Ⅲ) were all found. The rates increased with the increase in [OH -] and decreased with the increase in [TeO 2- 4]. No effect was found with the addition of KNO 3 and no free radical was detected. In view of this, the dihydroxymonotelluratoargentate(Ⅲ) species(DMA) is assumed to be the active species. A plausible mechanism involving a two electron transfer is proposed, and the rate equation derived from the mechanism can explain all experimental observations. | 16 | Heat treatment effects on the metastable microstructure,mechanical property and corrosion behavior of Al-added CoCrFeMnNi alloys fabricated by laser powder bed fusion显示文摘With the development of aerospace and transportation,high-strength structural materials manufactured by additive manufacturing techniques get more attention,which allows the production of counterparts with complex structures.This work investigates Al-added CoCrFeMnNi high-entropy alloys(Al-HEAs)pre-pared by laser powder bed fusion(PBF-LB),adding 4.4 wt.%Al reducing approximately 7%density.The contribution of post-heat-treatment to microstructure,mechanical properties,and corrosion behaviors are explored.Hot cracking along with grain boundaries in the as-built PBF-LB Al-HEAs is determined,which comes from the residual liquid film as a larger solidification temperature range by adding Al.The PBF-LB Al-HEAs mainly consist of a face-centered cubic(FCC)matrix with Al/Ni/Mn decorated dislocation cells therein and a minor body-centered cubic(BCC)phase.Upon 850℃ annealing treatment,massive BCC phases(ordered NiAl and disordered Cr-rich precipitates)generate at the dislocation cell/grain bound-aries and the dislocation cells are still retained.However,the volume fraction of BCC phases and the dislocation cells vanish after 1150℃ solution treatment.As a result,Al-HEA850 shows an over 1000 MPa yield strength with nearly no ductility(<3%);the Al-HEA1150 exhibits considerable strength-ductility properties.Meanwhile,the Al-HEA850 demonstrates the worst pitting corrosion resistance due to the preferential dissolution of the NiAl precipitates in chloride-containing solutions.After comparatively de-liberating the evolution of strength-ductility and localized corrosion,we built a framework about the effects of the heat treatment on the mechanical property and degradation behavior in additively manu-factured Al-added high-strength HEAs. | Decheng Kong Li Wang Guoliang Zhu Yiqi Zhou Xiaoqing Ni Jia Song Liang Zhang Wenheng Wu Wei Wu Cheng Man Da Shu Baode Sun Chaofang Dong | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,7: | 0 |
