3Crystallization of Al-based Amorphous Alloys in Good Conductivity Solution显示文摘The corrosion-induced crystallization of Al94 exNixGd6(x=6 and 10, in at.%) metallic glasses as well as phase separation, oxidation and cracking in good conductivity solution has been investigated by various techniques.The transmission electronic microscopy(TEM) result reveals that crystalline intermetallics and oxides present on the electrochemically thinned hole edge, and the phase separation occurs in the matrix of the as-spun ribbons with the circumferential speed Rcof 29.3 m/s. In addition, the bending and cracking of the samples occur after corrosion. 6Effect of Compression on the Crystallization Behavior and Corrosion Resistance of Al_(86)Ni_9La_5 Amorphous Alloy显示文摘The effect of compression on the crystallization behavior and corrosion resistance of Al(86)Ni9La5 amorphous ribbons was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning elec-tron microscopy (SEM) and electrochemistry test. The XRD and TEM results reveal that the compressed Al(86)Ni9La5 ribbons spun with the circumferential speed (R) of 29.3 m/s are in fully amorphous state; however, the compressed ribbons spun with R=14.7 m/s have crystalline phases embedded in the amorphous matrix. The SEM images indicate that after compression, the toughness of the ribbons increases. Electrochemical results show that the compression decreases the stability of the passive film of the Al(86)Ni9La5 amorphous ribbons, because of the compression-introduced free volume, shear bands and crystalline phases; meanwhile, with R=14.7 m/s, the compression-induced crystalline phases in the Al(86)Ni9La5 ribbons increase the corrosion potential.Yan Liu Weimin Wang Hongdi Zhang Haitian Ma Bang An 2012Journal of Materials Science & Technology2012,28,12:1

8FOLFIRINOX vs gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel for treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer: Single-center cohort study显示文摘BACKGROUND FOLFIRINOX and gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel(Gem+nabPTX)were recently introduced for metastatic pancreatic cancer treatment.However,studies that compared these two regimens and studies in Asian populations are lacking.AIM To compare the treatment outcomes of FOLFIRINOX and Gem+nabPTX regimen for metastatic pancreatic cancer treatment in Korean population.METHODS Patients with metastatic or recurrent pancreatic cancer treated with FOLFIRINOX(n=86)or Gem+nabPTX(n=81)as the first-line since January 2015 were identified using the Severance Hospital Pancreatic Cancer Cohort Registry.Treatment efficacy,treatment-related adverse events and economic aspects were compared.RESULTS Patients in the FOLFIRINOX group were significantly younger(54 vs 65 years;P<0.001)and had better performance statuses at diagnosis.The median overall survival(10.7 vs 12.1 mo;P=0.157),progression-free survival(8.0 vs 8.4 mo;P=0.134),and objective response rates(33.7%vs 46.9%;P=0.067)were not significantly different when compared with Gem+nabPTX group.Grade≥3 neutropenia and gastrointestinal adverse events were more common in the FOLFIRINOX group.The drug costs of both regimens were similar.CONCLUSION Treatment efficacy and economic burdens were comparable between the two regimens.But,the details of adverse event were different.Gem+nabPTX regimen might be considered preferentially in certain conditions.In Rae Cho Huapyong Kang Jung Hyun Jo Hee Seung Lee Moon Jae Chung Jeong Youp Park Seung Woo Park Si Young Song Chansik An Mi-Suk Park Seungmin Bang 2020World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology2020,12,2:1
9Numerical and Experimental Study of a Tornado Mixer显示文摘A new design of a selective catalytic reduction(SCR)mixer called tornado was developed for a heavy-duty diesel engine to solve the urea deposition problem.A combination of CFD simulation and experimental studies was used to comprehensively evaluate the performance of the tornado mixer.According to the numerical simulations,this mixer can improve the front surface flow uniformity of the SCR carrier by 6.67%and the NH3 distribution uniformity by 3.19%compared to a traditional mixer.Similarly,steady state SCR conversion efficiency test results have shown that the tornado mixer can increase the average SCR conversion efficiency by 1.73%compared to a traditional mixer.Therefore,the tornado mixer outperforms traditional mixers in terms of mixing uniformity,resistance to deposition and impact on NOX emissions.In addition,a dimensionless parameter,the“limiting deviation rate”,is proposed in the present study to improve the mixing uniformity assessment method for SCR mixers(with the explicit intent to evaluate the mixing uniformity more accurately).Yibao Wang Dongsheng Wang Yudan Xue Dailong Shi Xiaoli Zhang Yang Chai Bang An 2021Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2021,17,6:0
103D particle‐in‐cell simulation of positive streamer initiation in highly pressurized gaseous,liquid and supercritical CO_(2)with field ionization显示文摘A 3D particle‐in‐cell/Monte Carlo collision model is used to investigate the streamer discharge inception in CO_(2) at elevated pressures including gaseous, liquid and supercritical phases. Generation of free electrons is a prerequisite for initiation and development of positive streamers. Field ionization from impurity molecules of low density and low ionization energy is assumed as the source of primary ionization in the model. The field dependent generation rate of electrons is calculated by Zener's model. Tree‐like streamer with filamentary shape presents at the needle tip and propagates to-wards the plane electrode in all three phases of CO_(2), with differing in length and propagation speed. Furthermore, the influence of different parameters such as applied voltage, electrode tip size, and ionizable density and ionization potential of impurity molecules on the evolution of streamer discharge in supercritical CO_(2) are investigated. 13An analytical model for cross-Kerr nonlinearity in a four-level N-type atomic system with Doppler broadening显示文摘We present an analytical model for cross-Kerr nonlinear coefficient in a four-level N-type atomic medium under Doppler broadening.The model is applied to87 Rb atoms to analyze the dependence of the cross-Kerr nonlinear coefficient on the external light field and the temperature of atomic vapor.The analysis shows that in the absence of electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT)the cross-Kerr nonlinear coefficient is zero,but it is significantly enhanced when the EIT is established.It means that the cross-Kerr effect can be turned on/off when the external light field is on or off.Simultaneously,the amplitude and the sign of the cross-Kerr nonlinear coefficient are easily changed according to the intensity and frequency of the external light field.The amplitude of the cross-Kerr nonlinear coefficient remarkably decreases when the temperature of atomic medium increases.The analytical model can be convenient to fit experimental observations and applied to photonic devices.Dinh Xuan Khoa Nguyen Huy Bang Nguyen Le Thuy An Nguyen Van Phu Le Van Doai 2022Chinese Physics B2022,31,2:0
14Optical and Electrical Properties of Polyimide Thin Films Grown by Vapor Deposition Polymerization显示文摘Using pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA) and 4,4’ diaminodiphenyl ether (ODA) as monomer materials, polyimide thin films have been prepared onto glass substrate by vapor deposition polymerization under a vacuum of 2.666×10 -3 Pa and thermal curing of polyamic acid film in a vacuum at temperature of 150~200 ℃ for 60 min. In this process, the polymerization can be carried out through controlling the stoichiometric ratio, heating time and deposition ratio of the two monomers. The composition, the structure and properties of the polyimide films are investigated with IR spectrum, XRD, and SEM methods. The results show that the polyimide films by vapor deposition polymerization have good electrical properties and thermal stability. 15Preparation and analysis of spermatocyte meiotic pachytene bivalents of pigs for gene mapping显示文摘Well-spread meiotic pachytene bivalents were obtained by using the prolonged hypotonic treatment com-bined with high chloroform Carnory’s fixative solution from cells of the testes of domestic pigs. Comparison in the division index and length of pachytene bivalents with metaphase chromosomes showed that those of the former are 5 times higher and 3.42(1.87-5.98) times longer than those of the latter. Comparative studies on chromomere maps of bivalents and mitotic chromosomal G-bands were conducted by using the chromo-some 12 as a example.
