1Midinfrared optical frequency comb based on difference frequency generation using high repetition rate Er-doped fiber laser with single wall carbon nanotube film显示文摘We demonstrated stable midinfrared(MIR) optical frequency comb at the 3.0 μm region with difference frequency generation pumped by a high power, Er-doped, ultrashort pulse fiber laser system. A soliton mode-locked161 MHz high repetition rate fiber laser using a single wall carbon nanotube was fabricated. The output pulse was amplified in an Er-doped single mode fiber amplifier, and a 1.1–2.2 μm wideband supercontinuum(SC) with an average power of 205 m W was generated in highly nonlinear fiber. The spectrogram of the generated SC was examined both experimentally and numerically. 5Dynamical amplification of electric polarization through nonlinear phononics in 2D SnTe显示文摘Ultrafast optical control of ferroelectricity using intense terahertz fields has attracted significant interest.Here we show that the nonlinear interactions between two optical phonons in SnTe,a two-dimensional in-plane ferroelectric material,enables a dynamical amplification of the electric polarization within subpicoseconds time domain.Our first-principles time-dependent simulations show that the infrared-active out-of-plane phonon mode,pumped to nonlinear regimes,spontaneously generates in-plane motions,leading to rectified oscillations in the in-plane electric polarization.We suggest that this dynamical control of ferroelectric material,by nonlinear phonon excitation,can be utilized to achieve ultrafast control of the photovoltaic or other nonlinear optical responses.Dongbin Shin Shunsuke A.Sato Hannes Hübener Umberto De Giovannini Noejung Park Angel Rubio 2020npj Computational Materials2020,,1:0
6Characteristics of Amorphous Mn_3AlC Phases Formed by Mechanical Milling显示文摘Amorphization of Mn carbides by rapid quenching method has been proved to be unsuccessful.By mechanical milling in the present work, amorphous phases have been formed in the perovskitetype Mn3AlC compound. The transformation process from crystalline to amorphous phase was found to be milling time controlled, and 10 h is a critical period for the macroscopically single amorphous phase to form. It has been clarified that the redistribution of C atoms is an instinctive factor for amorphous phase to nucleate, and the atomic configuration in the amorphous phase is changed much in longer milling that different crystallizing behaviours have been caused.
