1Adsorption isotherm and inhibition effect of a synthesized di-(m-Formylphenol)-1,2-cyclohexandiimine on corrosion of steel X52 in HCl solution显示文摘The potential of di-(m-Formylphenol)-1,2-cyclohexandiimine as an environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitor for steel was investigated in 1 mol/L HCl using potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and chronoamperometry measurements. All electrochemical measurements suggest that this compound is an excellent corrosion inhibitor for mild steel and the inhibition efficiency increases with the increase in inhibitor concentration. The effect of temperature on the corrosion behavior of mild steel with the addition of the Schiff base was studied in the temperature range from 25 °C to 65 °C. It is found that the adsorption of this inhibitor follows the Langmuir adsorption isotherms. The value of activation energy and the thermodynamic parameters such as ΔHads, ΔSads, Kads and ΔGads were calculated by the corrosion currents at different temperatures using the adsorption isotherm. 2Pore Size Distribution as a Soil Physical Quality Index for Agricultural and Pasture Soils in Northeastern Iran显示文摘Assessment of soil quality is important for optimum production and natural resources conservation. Agricultural and pasture soil qualities of Deh-Sorkh region located at south of Mashhad, northeastern Iran were assessed using the integrated quality index (IQI) and Nemero quality index (NQI) models in combination with two datasets, i.e., total data set (TDS) and minimum data set (MDS). In this study 6 soil properties considered as MDS were selected out of 18 properties as TDS using principle component analysis. Soil samples were divided into 3 groups based on optimum ranges of 8 soil physical quality indicators. Soil samples with the most indicators at optimum range were selected as group 1 and the samples having fewer indicators at optimum range were located in groups 2 and 3. Optimum ranges of soil pore size distribution functions were also determined as soil physical quality indices based on 8 soil physical quality indicators. Pore size distribution curves of group 1 were considered as the optimum pore size functions. The results showed that relatively high organic carbon contents could improve pore size distribution. Mean comparisons of soil physical quality indicators demonstrated that mean weight diameter of wet aggregates, structural stability index, the slope of moisture retention curve at inflection point, and plant available water content in agricultural land use decreased significantly in relation to pasture land use. In addition, the results demonstrated that the studied MDS could be a suitable representative of TDS. 78% of pasture soils had the optimum pore size distribution functions, while this parameter for agricultural soils was only 13%. 4Synthesis of SWNTs over nanoporous Co-Mo/MgO and using as a catalyst support for selective hydrogenation of syngas to hydrocarbon显示文摘Single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) with high surface area were synthesized over nanoporous Co-Mo/MgO by a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. The SWNTs were used as catalyst support for selective hydrogenation of syngas to hydrocarbons. Here an extensive study of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) on CNT-supported cobalt catalysts with different amounts of cobalt loading up to 40 wt% is reported. The catalysts were characterized by different methods including N2 adsorption-desorption, X-ray diffraction, hydrogen chemisorption, inductively coupled plasma (ICP) and temperature-programmed reduction. Enhancement of the reducibility of Co3O4 to CoO, CoO to Coo and small cobalt oxide particles, dispersion of the cobalt, and activity and selectivity of FTS were investigated and compared with a conventional support. The CNT supported catalysts achieve a high dispersion and high loading of the active metal, cobalt in particular, so that the bulk formation of cobalt metal, which tends to occur in conventional support, can be avoided. 8Generating high-resolution climatological precipitation data using SinGAN显示文摘High-resolution(HR)climate data are indispensable for studying regional climate trends,disaster prediction,and urban development planning in the face of climate change.However,state-of-the-art long-term global climate simulations do not provide appropriate HR climate data.Deep learning models are often used to obtain high-resolution climate data.However,due to the fact that these models require sufficient low-resolution(LR)and HR data pairs for the training process,they cannot be applied to scenario with inadequate training data.In this paper,we explore the applicability of a single image generative adversarial network(SinGAN)in generating HR climate data.SinGAN relies on single LR input data to obtain the corresponding HR data.To improve the performance for extreme-value regions,we propose a SinGAN combined with the weighted patchGAN discriminator(WSinGAN).The proposed WSinGAN outperforms comparable models in generating HR precipitation data,and its results are close to real HR data with sharp gradients and more refined small-scale features.We also test the scalability of the pre-trained WSinGAN for unseen samples and show that although only a single LR sample is used to train WSinGAN,it can still produce reliable HR data for unseen data.Yang Wang Hassan A.Karimi 2023Big Earth Data2023,7,1:0
9热拉伸和压缩条件下铸造和锻造Ni-42Cu合金的热加工性能(英文)显示文摘为了分析铸造和锻造条件下Ni-42Cu合金的流变行为和热加工性能,在温度为900~1150°C、应变速率为0.001~1 s^(-1)的条件下对合金进行热变形实验。拉伸实验结果表明,950°C时铸造和锻造两种合金均出现'热塑性低谷'。因为慢速动态再结晶,铸造合金的热塑性降低更为明显。合金(特别是铸造合金)的热塑性降低、晶界开裂归因于枝晶原子向晶界的偏析。随应变速率的增大,锻造合金的热塑性得到提高,这与高应变速率下动态再结晶分数的增加有关。此结果验证了动态再结晶机理随应变速率而变化。计算得到锻造合金的应变速率敏感性和不稳定参数结果表明,此合金在低温如950~1050°C和高应变速率(0.1和1 s^(-1))条件下易发生应变集中。根据拉伸和压缩实验结果,合金获得理想热加工性能的最佳温度为1050~1150°C。M.ARJM S.M.ABBASI A.KARIMI TAHERI A.MOMENI 2016Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China2016,26,6:0
