| 1 | Layer-by-layer deposition of bioactive layers on magnesium alloy stent materials to improve corrosion resistance and biocompatibility显示文摘Magnesium alloy is considered as one of the ideal cardiovascular stent materials owing to its good mechanical properties and biodegradability.However,the in vivo rapid degradation rate and the insufficient biocompatibility restrict its clinical applications.In this study,the magnesium alloy(AZ31B)was modified by combining the surface chemical treatment and in-situ self-assembly of 16-phosphonyl-hexadecanoic acid,followed by the immobilization of chitosan-functionalized graphene oxide(GOCS).Heparin(Hep)and GOCS were alternatively immobilized on the GOCS-modified surface through layer by layer(LBL)to construct the GOCS/Hep bioactive multilayer coating,and the corrosion resistance and biocompatibility were extensively explored.The results showed that the GOCS/Hep bioactive multilayer coating can endow magnesium alloys with an excellent in vitro corrosion resistance.The GOCS/Hep multilayer coating can significantly reduce the hemolysis rate and the platelet adhesion and activation,resulting in an excellent blood compatibility.In addition,the multilayer coating can not only enhance the adhesion and proliferation of the endothelial cells,but also promote the vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and nitric oxide(NO)expression of the attached endothelial cells on the surfaces.Therefore,the method of the present study can be used to simultaneously control the corrosion resistance and improve the biocompatibility of the magnesium alloys,which is expected to promote the application of magnesium alloys in biomaterials or medical devices,especially cardiovascular stent. | Fan Gao Youdong Hu Guicai Li Sen Liu Li Quan Zhongmei Yang Yanchun Wei Changjiang Pan | 2020 | Bioactive Materials2020,5,3: | 12 |
| 2 | WWOX suppresses KLF5 expression and breast cancer cell growth显示文摘The WW domain-containing oxidoreductase(WWOX) is a tumor suppressor in a variety of cancers, including breast cancer. Reduced WWOX expression is associated with the basal-like subtype and a relatively poor disease-free survival rate among breast cancer patients. Though several WWOX partners have been identified, the functional mechanisms of WWOX's role in cancers have not been fully addressed to date. In the current study, we found WWOX suppresses expression of KLF5—an oncogenic transcription factor—at protein level, and suppresses cancer cell proliferation in both bladder and breast cancer cell lines. Furthermore, we demonstrated that WWOX physically interacts with KLF5 via the former's WW domains and the latter's PY motifs. Interestingly, we found the expression of WWOX negatively correlates with KLF5 expression in a panel of breast cancer cell lines. | 4 | Dynamics of dissolved organic carbon in the mires in the Sanjiang Plain,Northeast China显示文摘Mires in boreal area had proved to be an important dissolved organic carbon (DOC) reserve for the sensitivity to climate change and human interfering. The study was focused on the temporal and spatial dynamics and controlling factors of DOC in a seasonally-waterlogged mire (SLM) and perennially-waterlogged mire (PLM) in the Sanjiang Plain, Northest China. In the two mires, DOC concentrations in both surface water and upper soil strata experienced pronounced seasonal variation. DOC concentrations in the surface waters were the greatest and averagely was 47.82 in SLM and 34.84 mg/L and PLM, whereas that in soil water at 0.3-m depth had little difference (20.25 mg/L in SLM and 26.51 mg/L in PLM). Results revealed that DOC concentrations declined 5-8 times vertically from the surface down to groundwater. DOC in the groundwater only was in a very small part with the average concentration of 5.18 mg/L. In relation to the surface water, DOC concentrations varied positively with temperature just before 8 August, and only in early spring and later autumn DOC concentrations exhibited identifiable spatial trends along with standing water depths in PLM. It was supposed that the influences from standing water depth took effect only in conditions of low temperature, and temperature should be the most powerful factor controlling DOC dynamics in the mires. Redox potential (Red) showed negative relationship with DOC values while total nitrogen (TN) and the majority of free ions in the soil solution exhibited no relationship. | 7 | An Authenticated Asymmetric Group Key Agreement for Imbalanced Mobile Networks显示文摘A Group key agreement(GKA) protocol enables a group of communicating parties to negotiate a common secret key over an open, untrusted network. The design goal of GKA is to achieve secure group communication, which is an important research issue for mobile communication. The conventional(symmetric) GKA protocol allows a group of members to establish a common secret key for imbalanced mobile networks. However, only the group members can broadcast secret message to the group. To overcome this limitation, this paper proposes an authenticated asymmetric GKA protocol. Instead of a common secret key, each group member negotiates a common group public key and holds a different decryption key. The paper proposed protocol supports the dynamic nodes update of mobile networks, which has forward secrecy and backward secrecy of group key. | 20 | Geological Characteristics and Metallogenic Setting of Representative Magmatic Cu-Ni Deposits in the Tianshan-Xingmeng Orogenic Belt, Central Asia显示文摘A great number of magmatic Cu-Ni deposits(including Kalatongke in Xinjiang and Hongqiling in Jilin) are distributed over a distance of almost 3000 km across the Tianshan-Xingmeng Orogenic Belt, from Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang in the west, to Jilin in eastern China in the east. These deposits were formed during a range of magmatic episodes from the Devonian to the Triassic. Significant magmatic Cu-Ni-Co-PGE deposits were formed from the Devonian period in the Nalati arc(e.g. Jingbulake Cu-Ni in Xinjiang), Carboniferous period in the Puerjin-Ertai arc(e.g. Kalatongke Cu-Ni-Co-PGE in Xinjiang), Carboniferous period in the Dananhu-Touquan arc(e.g. Huangshandong, Xiangshan and Tulaergen in estern Tianshan, Xinjiang) to Triassic period in the Hulan arc(e.g. Hongqiling Cu-Ni in Jilin). In addition to the overall tectonic, geologic and distribution of magmatic Cu-Ni deposits in the Tianshan-Xingmeng Orogenic Belt, the metallogenic setting, deposit geology and mineralization characteristics of each deposit mentioned above are summarized in this paper. Geochronologic data of Cu-Ni deposits indicate that, from west to east, the metallogenic ages in the Tianshan-Xingmeng Orogenic Belt changed with time, namely, from the Late Caledonian(~440 Ma), through the Late Hercynian(300-265 Ma) to the Late Indosinian(225-200 Ma).
