2Advances in low-protein diets for swine显示文摘Recent years have witnessed the great advantages of reducing dietary crude protein(CP) with free amino acids(AA)supplementation for sustainable swine industry, including saving protein ingredients, reducing nitrogen excretion, feed costs and the risk of gut disorders without impairing growth performance compared to traditional diets. However, a tendency toward increased fatness is a matter of concern when pigs are fed low-protein(LP) diets. In response, the use of the net energy system and balanced AA for formulation of LP diets has been proposed as a solution. Moreover, the extent to which dietary CP can be reduced is complicated. Meanwhile, the requirements for the first five limiting AA(lysine, threonine, sulfur-containing AA, tryptophan, and valine) that growing-finishing pigs fed LP diets were higher than pigs fed traditional diets, because the need for nitrogen for endogenous synthesis of non-essential AA to support protein synthesis may be increased when dietary CP is lowered. 3Identification of coastal wetlands of international importance for waterbirds:a review of China Coastal Waterbird Surveys 2005–2013显示文摘Background:China's coastal wetlands belong to some of the most threatened ecosystems worldwide.The loss and degradation of these wetlands seriously threaten waterbirds that depend on wetlands.Methods:The China Coastal Waterbird Census was organized by volunteer birdwatchers in China's coastal region.Waterbirds were surveyed synchronously once every month at 14 sites,as well as irregularly at a further 18 sites,between September 2005 and December 2013.Results:A total of 75 species of waterbirds met the 1 % population level Ramsar listing criterion at least once at one site.The number of birds of the following species accounted for over 20 % of the total flyway populations at a single site:Mute Swan(Cygnus olor),Siberia Crane(Grus leucogeranus),Far Eastern Oystercatcher(Haematopus osculans),Bar-tailed Godwit(Limosa lapponica),Spotted Greenshank(Tringa guttifer),Great Knot(Calidris tenuirostris),Spoon-billed Sandpiper(Calidris pygmeus),Saunders' s Gull(Larus saundersi),Relict Gull(Larus relictus),Great Cormorant(Phalacrocorax carbo),Eurasian Spoonbill(Platalea leucorodia),Black-faced Spoonbill(Platalea minor) and Dalmatian Pelican(Pelecanus crispus).A total of 26 sites supported at least one species of which their number met the1 % criterion.Forty-two species met the 1 % criterion in the Yellow River Delta,Shandong;29 at the Cangzhou coast,Hebei and 26 species at the Lianyungang coast,Jiangsu.Conclusions:The results highlight the international importance of China's coastal wetlands for waterbirds.This study also demonstrates that participation of local birdwatchers in waterbird surveys results in data that are invaluable not only for understanding the current status of waterbirds in China's coastal regions but also for waterbird conservation and management.Qingquan Bai Jianzhong Chen Zhihong Chen Guotai Dong Jiangtian Dong Wenxiao Dong Vivian Wing Kan Fu Yongxiang Han Gang Lu Jing Li Yang Liu Zhi Lin Derong Meng Jonathan Martinez Guanghui Ni Kai Shan Renjie Sun Suixing Tian Fengqin Wang Zhiwei Xu Yat-tung Yu Jin Yang Zhidong Yang Lin Zhang Ming Zhang Xiangwu Zeng 2015Chinese Birds2015,,3:20
4Early Serum HBsAg Kinetics as Predictor of HBsAg Loss in Patients with HBeAg-Negative Chronic Hepatitis B after Treatment with Pegylated Interferonα-2a显示文摘Hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg)loss is an ideal treatment endpoint for patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB).We investigated the predictive value of on-treatment HBsAg levels for HBsAg loss in hepatitis B e antigen(HBe Ag)-negative CHB patients who received 120-week PEG-IFNα-2a treatment.Serum HBV DNA,HBsAg,and anti-HBs levels were assayed at baseline and every 3 months during the treatment.Of 81 patients,12 achieved HBsAg loss,20 achieved HBsAg\100 IU/mL,and 49 maintained HBs Ag C 100 IU/mL.HBsAg loss rate was only 3.7%at 48 weeks,while it reached to 11.1%and 14.8%after treatment of 96 weeks and 120 weeks.The cutoff HBs Ag levels at 12 weeks predicting HBsAg loss at 96 weeks and 120 weeks of treatment were 400 IU/mL and 750 IU/mL,with AUC 0.725 and 0.722,positive predictive value(PPV)29.41%and 30.56%,and negative predictive value(NPV)93.75%and 97.78%,respectively.The cutoff HBsAg levels at 24 weeks predicting HBsAg loss at 96 weeks and 120 weeks of treatment were 174 IU/m L and 236 IU/mL respectively,with AUC 0.925 and 0.922,PPV 40.0%and 46.15%,and both NPV 100%.The predictive ability of the cutoff HBsAg levels at 24 weeks was better than that at 12 weeks for HBs Ag loss at either 96 or 120 weeks(χ~2=3.880,P=0.049 andχ~2=4.412,P=0.036).These results indicate that extended therapy is critical to HBsAg loss in HBe Ag-negative CHB patients during PEG-IFN treatment,and the HBsAg level at 24 weeks can be used to predict HBsAg loss during tailoring PEG-IFN therapy.Minghui Li Lu Zhang Yao Lu Qiqi Chen Huihui Lu Fangfang Sun Zhan Zeng Gang Wan Linqing Zhao Yao Xie 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,2:15

7Management of granulomatous lobular mastitis: an international multidisciplinary consensus(2021 edition)显示文摘Granulomatous lobular mastitis(GLM) is a rare and chronic benign inflammatory disease of the breast. Difficulties exist in the management of GLM for many front-line surgeons and medical specialists who care for patients with inflammatory disorders of the breast. This consensus is summarized to establish evidence-based recommendations for the management of GLM. Literature was reviewed using PubMed from January 1, 1971 to July 31, 2020. Sixty-six international experienced multidisciplinary experts from 11 countries or regions were invited to review the evidence.Levels of evidence were determined using the American College of Physicians grading system, and recommendations were discussed until consensus. Experts discussed and concluded 30 recommendations on historical definitions,etiology and predisposing factors, diagnosis criteria, treatment, clinical stages, relapse and recurrence of GLM. GLM was recommended as a widely accepted definition. In addition, this consensus introduced a new clinical stages and management algorithm for GLM to provide individual treatment strategies. In conclusion, diagnosis of GLM depends on a combination of history, clinical manifestations, imaging examinations, laboratory examinations and pathology.The approach to treatment of GLM should be applied according to the different clinical stage of GLM. 8Synthesis and curing of a novel amino-containing phthalonitrile derivative显示文摘A novel phthalonitrile derivative containing an amino group, 3,5-bis(3,4-dicyanophenoxy)aniline (CPA), was synthesized via a nucleophilic displacement of 4-nitrophthalonitrile and 5-aminoresorcinol hydrochloride. The structure of CPA was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectra (FT-IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR). 10Hierarchical Magnetic Network Constructed by CoFe Nanoparticles Suspended Within “Tubes on Rods” Matrix Toward Enhanced Microwave Absorption显示文摘Hierarchical magnetic-dielectric composites are promising functional materials with prospective applications in microwave absorption(MA)field.Herein,a three-dimension hierarchical“nanotubes on microrods,”core–shell magnetic metal–carbon composite is rationally constructed for the first time via a fast metal–organic frameworksbased ligand exchange strategy followed by a carbonization treatment with melamine.Abundant magnetic CoFe nanoparticles are embedded within one-dimensional graphitized carbon/carbon nanotubes supported on micro-scale Mo2N rod(Mo2N@CoFe@C/CNT),constructing a special multi-dimension hierarchical MA material.Ligand exchange reaction is found to determine the formation of hierarchical magnetic-dielectric composite,which is assembled by dielectric Mo2N as core and spatially dispersed CoFe nanoparticles within C/CNTs as shell.Mo2N@CoFe@C/CNT composites exhibit superior MA performance with maximum reflection loss of−53.5 dB at 2 mm thickness and show a broad effective absorption bandwidth of 5.0 GHz.The Mo2N@CoFe@C/CNT composites hold the following advantages:(1)hierarchical core–shell structure offers plentiful of heterojunction interfaces and triggers interfacial polarization,(2)unique electronic migration/hop paths in the graphitized C/CNTs and Mo2N rod facilitate conductive loss,(3)highly dispersed magnetic CoFe nanoparticles within“tubes on rods”matrix build multi-scale magnetic coupling network and reinforce magnetic response capability,confirmed by the off-axis electron holography.Chunyang Xu Lei Wang Xiao Li Xiang Qian Zhengchen Wu Wenbin You Ke Pei Gang Qin Qingwen Zeng Ziqi Yang Chen Jin Renchao Che 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,3:10

12Inhibitory effect of acetylshikonin on human gastric carcinoma cell line SGC-7901 in vitro and in vivo显示文摘AIM:To investigate the inhibitory effect of acetylshikonin on human gastric carcinoma cell line SGC-7901 and its mechanism. METHODS:MTT assay was used to assess the inhibitory effect of acetylshikonin on proliferation of SGC-7901 cells.Apopt osis-inducing effect was determined by flow cytometry and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end-labeling with Hoechst staining.Expression of mRNA and protein in Bcl-2 and Bax was analyzed by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and Western blot.Antitumor effect of acetylshikonin on a mouse SGC-7901 model was also determined. RESULTS:Forty-eight hours after treatment with acetylshikonin,MTT assay showed that acetylshikonin inhibited the proliferation of SGC-7901 cells in a dose-dependent manner.The half maximal inhibitory concentration of acetylshikonin to SGC-7901 cells was 0.428±0.07 mg/L.Cell shrinkage,nuclear pyknosis and chromatin condensation,which are the characteristics of cell apoptosis,were observed in treated SGC-7901 cells and the percentage of apoptosis increased in a dose-dependent manner.Acetylshikonin downregulated the expression of Bcl-2 and up-regulated the expression of Bax in the treated SGC-7901 cells compared with the controls.The experiment in vivo showed that 0.5,1,and 2 mg/kg of acetylshikonin significantly inhibited the growth of tumor in the mouse SGC-7901 model,with an inhibitory rate of 25.00%-55.76%. 18Future Changes in Extreme High Temperature over China at 1.5℃-5℃ Global Warming Based on CMIP6 Simulations显示文摘Extreme high temperature(EHT)events are among the most impact-related consequences related to climate change,especially for China,a nation with a large population that is vulnerable to the climate warming.Based on the latest Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6(CMIP6),this study assesses future EHT changes across China at five specific global warming thresholds(1.5℃-5℃).The results indicate that global mean temperature will increase by 1.5℃/2℃ before 2030/2050 relative to pre-industrial levels(1861-1900)under three future scenarios(SSP1-2.6,SSP2-4.5,and SSP5-8.5),and warming will occur faster under SSP5-8.5 compared to SSP1-2.6 and SSP2-4.5.Under SSP5-8.5,global warming will eventually exceed 5℃ by 2100,while under SSP1-2.6,it will stabilize around 2℃ after 2050.In China,most of the areas where warming exceeds global average levels will be located in Tibet and northern China(Northwest China,North China and Northeast China),covering 50%-70%of the country.Furthermore,about 0.19-0.44 billion people(accounting for 16%-41%of the national population)will experience warming above the global average.Compared to present-day(1995-2014),the warmest day(TXx)will increase most notably in northern China,while the number of warm days(TX90p)and warm spell duration indicator(WSDI)will increase most profoundly in southern China.For example,relative to the present-day,TXx will increase by 1℃-5℃ in northern China,and TX90p(WSDI)will increase by 25-150(10-80)days in southern China at 1.5℃-5℃ global warming.Compared to 2℃-5℃,limiting global warming to 1.5℃ will help avoid about 36%-87%of the EHT increases in China.Guwei ZHANG Gang ZENG Xiaoye YANG Zhihong JIANG 2021Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,2:8
19Numerical study on the restriction speed of train passing curved rail in cross wind显示文摘The results of numerical investigations of aerodynamic forces and moment coefficients of flow passing a simplified train geometry under different wind speeds are summarized. To compute numerically the different coefficients, the three-dimensional Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations, combined with the k-ε turbulence model, were solved using finite volume technique. The pres-sure-velocity fields were coupled using the SIMPLE algorithm. At each iteration the pressure correction was obtained by solving a velocity divergence-derived Poisson-like equation. With the computed aerodynamic forces, the formula of the restriction speed at which the train passed curved rail in cross wind was deduced to analyse the influences of aerodynamic forces on the restriction speed. Results of numerical investigations showed that aerodynamic lift and overturn moment increased more and more rapidly with train speed and wind speed. The enhancement trends showed nonlinear phenomena and enhanced risk in the course of train movement. When the train travels at a high speed and encounters a huge cross wind, the influence involved by nonlinear risk increment will extremely impair safety of train. The following conclusion can also be drawn: The effect of aerodynamic lift makes restriction speed reduce, however, the influences of aerodynamic drag to the limit train speed rest on the direction of wind flow. 20Developmental changes in intercellular junctions and Kv channels in the intestine of piglets during the suckling and post-weaning periods显示文摘Background: The intestinal epithelium is an important barrier that depends on a complex mixture of proteins and these proteins comprise different intercellular junctions. The purpose of this study was to investigate the postnatal and developmental changes in morphology, intercellular junctions and voltage-gated potassium(Kv) channels in the intestine of piglets during the suckling and post-weaning periods.Results: Samples of the small intestine were obtained from 1-, 7-, 14-, and 21-d-old suckling piglets and piglets on d 1, 3, 5, and 7 after weaning at 14 d of age. The results showed that the percentage of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)-positive cells and alkaline phosphatase(AKP) activity, as well as the abundances of E-cadherin,occludin, and Kv1.5 m RNA and claudin-1, claudin-3, and occludin protein in the jejunum were increased from d 1to d 21 during the suckling period(P < 0.05). Weaning induced decreases in the percentage of PCNA-positive cells,AKP activity and the abundances of E-cadherin, occludin and zonula occludens(ZO)-1 m RNA or protein in the jejunum on d 1, 3 and 5 post-weaning(P < 0.05). There were lower abundances of E-cadherin, occludin and ZO-1m RNA as well as claudin-1, claudin-3 and ZO-1 protein in the jejunum of weanling piglets than in 21-d-old suckling piglets(P < 0.05). The abundances of E-cadherin, occludin, ZO-1 and integrin m RNA were positively related to the percentage of PCNA-positive cells.Conclusion: Weaning at 14 d of age induced damage to the intestinal morphology and barrier.
