| 2 | Relationship between the later strong gas-charging and the improvement of the reservoir capacity in deep Ordovician carbonate reservoir in Tazhong area, Tarim Basin显示文摘Some large-scale oil-gas fields have recently been discovered in marine carbonate in China, especially the significant discoveries in deep reservoir that reveals a favorable exploration prospect. Tazhong area is the first-order tectonic unit in Tarim Basin, where there are nearly trillion cubic meters of natural gas resources in the Ordovician limestone reef flat complex in Lianglitage Formation. The reservoir is shelf edge reef flat complex, characterized by ultra-low porosity, low permeability and strong heterogeneous, with a current burial depth of 4500―6500 m. Studies find that the formation and distribution of deep reservoir of the Lianglitage Formation were controlled not only by the early high-energy sedimentary facies and corrosion, but the fracture network formed by the strong gas-charging process since the Himalayan epoch, which played an important role in optimizing and improving reservoir properties. | 7 | Beclin 1 cleavage by caspase-3 inactivates autophagy and promotes apoptosis显示文摘Autophagy and apoptosis are both highly regulated biological processes that play essential roles in tissue homeostasis,development and diseases.Autophagy is also described as a mechanism of death pathways,however,the precise mechanism of how autophagy links to cell death remains to be fully understood.Beclin 1 is a dual regulator for both autophagy and apoptosis.In this study we found that Beclin 1 was a substrate of caspase-3 with two cleavage sites at positions 124 and 149,respectively.Furthermore,the autophagosome formation occurred,followed by the appearance of morphological hallmarks of apoptosis after staurosporine treatment.The cleavage products of Beclin 1 reduced autophagy and promoted apoptosis in HeLa cells and the cells in which Beclin 1 was stably knocked down by specific shRNA.In addition,the cleavage of Beclin 1 resulted in abrogating the interaction between Bcl-2 with Beclin 1,which could be blocked by z-VAD-fmk.Thus,our results suggest that the cleavage of Beclin 1 by caspase-3 may contribute to inactivate autophagy leading towards augmented apoptosis. | Yushan Zhu Lixia Zhao Lei Liu Ping Gao Weili Tian Xiaohui Wang Haijing Jin Haidong Xu Quan Chen | 2010 | Protein & Cell2010,1,5: | 17 |
| 8 | Sedimentary Response of Different Fan Types to the Paleogene-Neogene Basin Transformation in the Kuqa Depression,Tarim Basin,Xinjiang Province显示文摘A group of alluvial fans formed in the early Paleogene represent marginal sedimentary facies at the foot of the South Tianshan Mountain,Kuqa Depression,Tarim Basin,Xinjiang province. Two types of fans occurred in the middle-late Paleogene Kumugeliemu and Suweiyi formations:one alluvial,and the other fan delta deposited in a lacustrine setting.Within the early Neogene Jidike Formation,coastal subaqueous fans developed,probably in a deeper water lacustrine setting.The three types of fans are stacked vertically in outcrop with the sequence in ascending order:bottom alluvial,middle fan-delta,and top subaqueous.The subaqueous is a typical coarse-fan deposit occurring in the glutinite member of the Jidike Formation in some wells.Laterally,from the foreland to the lacustrine settings,the distribution pattern of sedimentary facies represents the same three fan types sequentially.The spatial distribution of these fans was controlled by the Paleogene-Neogene Basin transformation,and evolution with different types of fans developed in the Kuqa Depression in response.In the Paleogene,the Kuqa Depression was a rift basin where an alluvial fan was deposited in the foreland setting,which,by early Neogene,became a foreland basin when the lake level changed. | 16 | Seasonal Variation of Biochemical Components in Clam (Saxidomuspurpuratus Sowerby 1852) in Relation to Its Reproductive Cycle and the Environmental Condition of Sanggou Bay, China显示文摘Seasonal variation of biochemical components in clam(Saxidomus purpuratus Sowerby 1852) was investigated from March 2012 to February 2013 in relation to environmental condition of Sanggou Bay and the reproductive cycle of clam.According to the histological analysis,the reproductive cycle of S.purpuratus includes two distinctive phases:a total spent and inactive stage from November to January,and a gametogenesis stage,including ripeness and spawning,during the rest of the year.Gametes were generated at a low temperature(2.1℃) in February.Spawning took place once a year from June to October.The massive spawning occurred in August when the highest water temperature and chlorophyll a level could be observed.The key biochemical components(glycogen,protein and lipid) in five tissues(gonad,foot,mantle,siphon and adductor muscle) were analyzed.The glycogen content was high before gametogenesis,and decreased significantly during the gonad development in the gonad,mantle and foot of both females and males,suggesting that glycogen was an important energy source for gonad development.The protein and lipid contents increased in the ovary during the gonad development,demonstrating that they are the major organic components of oocytes.The lipid and protein contents decreased in the testis,implying that they can provide energy and material for spermatogenesis.The results also showed that protein stored in the mantle and foot could support the reproduction after the glycogen was depleted. | BI Jinhong LI Qi ZHANG Xinjun ZHANG Zhixin TIAN Jinling XU Yushan LIU Wenguang | 2016 | Journal of Ocean University of China2016,15,2: | 6 |

| 18 | Allele-aware chromosome-scale assembly of the allopolyploid genome of hexaploid Ma bamboo(Dendrocalamus latiflorus Munro)显示文摘Dendrocalamus latiflorus Munro is a woody clumping bamboo with rapid shoot growth.Both genetic transformation and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9(Cas9)gene editing techniques are available for D.latiflorus,enabling reverse genetic approaches.Thus,D.latiflorus has the potential to be a model bamboo species.However,the genome sequence of D.latiflorus has remained unreported due to its polyploidy and large genome size.Here,we sequenced the D.latiflorus genome and assembled it into three allele-aware subgenomes(AABBCC),representingthe largest genome of a major bamboo species.We assembled 70 allelic chromosomes(2,737 Mb)for hexaploid D.latiflorus using both singlemolecule sequencing from the Pacific Biosciences(Pac Bio)Sequel platform and chromosome conformation capture sequencing(Hi-C).Repetitive sequences comprised 52.65%of the D.latiflorus genome.We annotated 135231 protein-coding genes in the genome based on transcriptomes from eight different tissues.Transcriptome sequencing using RNA-Seq and Pac Bio singlemolecule real-time long-read isoform sequencing revealed highly differential alternative splicing(AS)between non-abortive and abortive shoots,suggesting that AS regulates the abortion rate of bamboo shoots.This high-quality hexaploid genome and comprehensive strand-specific transcriptome datasets for this Poaceae family member will pave the way for bamboo research using D.latiflorus as a model species. | Yushan Zheng Deming Yang Jundong Rong Liguang Chen Qiang Zhu Tianyou He Lingyan Chen Jing Ye Lili Fan Yubang Gao Hangxiao Zhang Lianfeng Gu | 2022 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,3: | 6 |
