| 1 | Motion trajectory prediction based on a CNN-LSTM sequential model显示文摘Accurate monitoring the surrounding environment is an important research direction in the field of unmanned systems such as bio-robotics,and has attracted much research attention in recent years.The trajectories of surrounding vehicles should be predicted accurately in space and time to realize active defense and running safety of an unmanned system.However,there is uncertainty and uncontrollability in the process of trajectory prediction of surrounding obstacles.In this study,we propose a trajectory prediction method based on a sequential model,that fuses two neural networks of a convolutional neural network(CNN)and a long short-term memory network(LSTM).First,a box plot is used to detect and eliminate abnormal values of vehicle trajectories,and valid trajectory data are obtained.Second,the trajectories of surrounding vehicles are predicted by merging the characteristics of CNN space expansion and LSTM time expansion;the hyper-parameters of the model are optimized according to a grid search algorithm,which satisfies the double-precision prediction requirement in space and time.Finally,data from next generation simulation(NGSIM)and Creteil roundabout in France are taken as test cases;the correctness and rationality of the method are verified by prediction error indicators.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed CNNLSTM method is more accurate and features a shorter time cost,which meets the prediction requirements and provides an effective method for the safe operation of unmanned systems. | Guo XIE Anqi SHANGGUAN Rong FEI Wenjiang JI Weigang MA Xinhong HEI | 2020 | Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,11: | 24 |
| 2 | Phenotypic variation in Phoebe bournei populations preserved in the primary distribution area显示文摘Phoebe bournei(Hemsl.) Yang is a rare and protected plant in China. This study was conducted to determine the phenotypic variation in this species and to document phenotypic variation within and among populations of P. bournei. Nested analysis of variance, coefficient of variation, multiple comparisons, principal component analysis(PCA) and correlation analysis were used to analyze ten phenotypic traits in ten natural populations of P.bournei from both the northeastern and the primary region of the range of this species. Significant differences among and within populations were observed in leaf and seed phenotypic traits. Variation among populations(34.92%)was greater than that within populations(26.19%). The mean phenotypic differentiation coefficient was 53.77%among populations, indicating that variation among populations comprised the majority of the phenotypic variation of P. bournei. The coefficient of variance(CV) of ten traits varied from 6.44 to 18.45%, with an average of 12.03%.The CV of leaf traits among populations(15.64%) was higher than that of seed traits(8.60%), indicating that seed traits were more stable. The results from CV and PCA indicated that leaf area, leaf length and thousand seed weight were the main factors accounting for the observed phenotypic variations. Significant or highly significant correlations were observed among most leaf and/or in seed phenotypic traits, whereas no significant correlations were observed between phenotypic traits and geographic factors.Based on cluster analysis, the ten populations can be divided into three clusters. | 5 | Activity after Site-Directed Mutagenesis of CD59 on Complement-Mediated Cytolysis显示文摘CD59 may inhibit the cytolytic activity of complement by binding to C8/C9 and protect host cell membranes against homologous membrane attack complex (MAC). However,CD59 is widely overexpressed on tumor cells,which has been implicated in tumorigenesis. The active site of CD59 relative to MAC is still confused. As reported the MAC binding site is located in the vicinity of a hydrophobic groove on the membrane distal face of the protein centered around residue W40. Here two site-directed mutagenesis were performed by overlapping extension PCR to delete residue W40 site (Mutant 1,M1) or to change C39W40K41 to W39W40W41 (Mutant 2,M2). Then we constructed mutant CD59 eukaryotic expression system and investigated their biological function on CHO cells compared with wild-type CD59. Stable populations of CHO cells expressing recombinant proteins were screened by immunotechnique. After 30 passages culturing,proteins could be tested. Dye release assays suggest that M1CD59 loses the activity against complement,while M2CD59 increases the anti-complement activity slightly. | 8 | Flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte enabling a Li F-rich solid electrolyte interface to improve cycle performance of wide-temperature lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium–sulfur batteries have been regarded as the most promising high-energy electrochemical energy storage device owing to the high energy density, low cost and environmental friendliness. However, traditional lithium–sulfur batteries using ether-based electrolytes often suffer from severe safety risks(i.e. combustion). Herein, we demonstrated a novel kind of flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte(6.5 M lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulphonyl)imide/fluoroethylene carbonate) for highly-safe and widetemperature lithium–sulfur batteries. It was found that such concentrated electrolyte showed superior flame retardancy, high lithium-ion transference number(0.69) and steady lithium plating/stripping behavior(2.5 m Ah cm^(-2) over 3000 h). Moreover, lithium–sulfur batteries using this flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte delivered outstanding cycle performance in a wide range of temperatures(-10 °C, 25 °C and 90 °C). This superior battery performance is mainly attributed to the LiF-rich solid electrolyte interphase formed on lithium metal anode, which can effectively suppress the continuous growth of lithium dendrites. | 9 | Long-term effects of mowing on plasticity and allometry of Leymus chinensis in a temperate semi-arid grassland,China显示文摘Mowing is an important land management practice for natural semi-arid regions.A growing body of empirical evidence shows that different mowing regimes affect the functioning of grassland ecosystems.However,the responses of plant functional traits to long-term mowing and their allometric scaling under long-term mowing are poorly understood.For a better understanding of the effects of mowing on grassland ecosystems,we analyzed the allometric traits of leaves and stems of Leymus chinensis(Trin.) | 10 | Chemical genomics reveals inhibition of breast cancer lung metastasis by Ponatinib via c-Jun显示文摘Metastasis is the leading cause of human cancer deaths.Unfortunately,no approved drugs are available for antimetastatic treatment.In our study,high-throughput sequencing-based high-throughput screening(HTS^2)and a breast cancer lung metastasis(BCLM)-associated gene signature were combined to discover anti-metastatic drugs.After screening of thousands of compounds,we identified Ponatinib as a BCLM inhibitor.Ponatinib significantly inhibited the migration and mammosphere formation of breast cancer cells in vitro and blocked BCLM in multiple mouse models.Mechanistically,Ponatinib represses the expression of BCLM-associated genes mainly through the ERK/c-Jun signaling pathway by inhibiting the transcription of JUN and accelerating the degradation of c-Jun protein.Notably,JUN expression levels were positively correlated with BCLM-associated gene expression and lung metastases in breast cancer patients.Collectively,we established a novel approach for the discovery of anti-metastatic drugs,identified Ponatinib as a new drug to inhibit BCLM and revealed c-Jun as a crucial factor and potential drug target for BCLM.Our study may facilitate the therapeutic treatment of BCLM as well as other metastases. | Wei Shao Shasha Li Lu Li Kequan Lin Xinhong Liu Haiyan Wang Huili Wang Dong Wang | 2019 | Protein & Cell2019,10,3: | 7 |

| 12 | Diurnal variation of nitrated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in PM_(10) at a roadside site in Xiamen,China显示文摘Intensive daytime and nighttime sampling was carried out from 23 Oct to 31 Dec 2008 to investigate the occurrence of nitrated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(NPAHs) in PM 10 at a roadside site in Xiamen,China.At the same time,six PM 10 samples were collected from a nearby roadway tunnel for comparison.Six NPAHs,namely 9-nitroanthracene,2-and 3-nitrofluoranthene,1nitropyrene,7-nitrobenz[a]anthracene,and 6-nitrobenzo[a]pyrene,were identified and quantified using GC/MS in negative ion chemical ionization mode.The average total concentration of six NPAHs(∑ NPAHs) in the cold season(26 Nov-31 Dec) was 2.3(daytime) and 9.9(nighttime) times higher than those in the warm season.Significant statistical difference(p < 0.01,2-tailed) of ∑ NPAHs between daytime and nighttime was found during both the warm and cold seasons.NPAHs were significantly positively correlated with their parent PAHs and nitrogen dioxide but negatively correlated with ambient temperature.The ratio of 2 + 3-nitrofluoranthene to 1nitropyrene exhibited a similar diurnal pattern as ∑ NPAHs and was generally greater than 5,indicating the importance of secondary atmospheric formation.The diurnal variations of NPAHs were all influenced by the diurnal variations of PAHs,nitrogen dioxide,sunlight,and temperature.The daily inhalable exposure to the six NPAHs in the tunnel was much higher than the roadside values in the warm season but only slightly higher than those in the cold season. | Shuiping Wu Bingyu Yang Xinhong Wang Huasheng Hong Chungshin Yuan | 2012 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,10: | 5 |

For example, intercostal nerves are transferred onto axillary nerves, and accessory nerves are transferred onto suprascapular nerves, the phrenic nerve is transferred onto the musculocutaneous nerves, and the contralateral C7 nerve is transferred onto the median or radial nerves. Nerve transfer has become a major method for reconstructing the brachial plexus after avulsion injury. Many experiments have shown that nerve transfers for treatment of brachial plexus injury can help reconstruct cerebral cortical function and increase cortical plasticity. However, the coffee ring effect is usually observed due to the mismatch between the evaporation of the solvent and the decrease of solution volume, which promotes the formation of radial flow from the interior of the drop to the edge. In this paper, coffee ring effects of inkjet printed poly(spirobifluorene) films were proposed to be restrained by decreasing capillary force by adding co-solvent with high boiling point and high viscosity to the main solvent. The low evaporation rate of the co-solvent can reduce the driving force of the radial flow; meanwhile the high viscosity of the co-solvent can increase the resistance of the radial flow. Thus, polymer films with improve uniformity can be obtained due to the suppression of the radial flow. | 18 | Exploring Channel Diversity in HF Communication Systems: A Matching-Potential Game Approach显示文摘This paper investigates the channel diversity problem in high frequency(HF) communication systems. Due to the limited HF spectrum resources, a HF communication system with shared channels is considered, where each user equipment(UE) has individual communication demand. In order to maximize the communication probability of the whole system, a matching-potential game framework is designed. In detail, the channel diversity problem is decomposed into two sub-problems. One is channel-transmitter matching problem, which can be formulated as a many-to-one matching game. The other is the transmitter allocation problem which decides the transmission object that each transmitter communicates with under channel-transmitter matching result, and this sub-problem can be modeled as a potential game. A multiple round stable matching algorithm(MRSMA) is proposed, which obtains a stable matching result for the first sub-problem, and a distributed BR-based transmitter allocation algorithm(DBRTAA) is designed to reach Nash Equilibrium(NE) of the second sub-problem. For polymer inks,the coil-stretch transition of polymer chains always impacts the ink droplet formation and a beads-on-a string structure filament is formed, thus generating unwanted satellite droplets. This review provides a short introduction of the dynamic process of the droplet formation. Then fluid rheological requirements for a printable polymer ink are summarized. Finally the strain hardening phenomenon of polymer chains in the filament formation and its impact on polymer ink-jetting are discussed.
