| 1 | A model for discrimination and prediction of mental workload of aircraft cockpit display interface显示文摘With respect to the ergonomic evaluation and optimization in the mental task design of the aircraft cockpit display interface, the experimental measurement and theoretical modeling of mental workload were carried out under flight simulation task conditions using the performance evaluation, subjective evaluation and physiological measurement methods. The experimental results show that with an increased mental workload, the detection accuracy of flight operation significantly reduced and the reaction time was significantly prolonged; the standard deviation of R-R intervals(SDNN) significantly decreased, while the mean heart rate exhibited little change; the score of NASA_TLX scale significantly increased. On this basis, the indexes sensitive to mental workload were screened, and an integrated model for the discrimination and prediction of mental workload of aircraft cockpit display interface was established based on the Bayesian Fisher discrimination and classification method. The original validation and cross-validation methods were employed to test the accuracy of the results of discrimination and prediction of the integrated model, and the average prediction accuracies determined by these two methods are both higher than 85%. Meanwhile, the integrated model shows a higher accuracy in discrimination and prediction of mental workload compared with single indexes. | 4 | Mesoporous Graphene Hosts for Dendrite-Free Lithium Metal Anode in Working Rechargeable Batteries显示文摘Lithium(Li) metal anode has received extensive attentions due to its ultrahigh theoretical capacity and the most negative electrode potential. However, dendrite growth severely impedes the practical applications of the Li metal anode in rechargeable batteries. In this contribution, a mesoporous graphene with a high specific surface area was synthesized to host the Li metal anode. The mesoporous graphene host(MGH) has a high specific surface area(2090 m^2/g), which affords free space and an interconnected conductive pathway for Li plating and stripping, thus alleviating the volume variation and reducing the generation of dead Li during repeated cycles. More importantly, the high specific surface area of MGH efficiently reduces the local current density of the electrode, which favors a uniform Li nucleation and plating behavior, rendering a dendritefree deposition morphology at a low overpotential. These factors synergistically boost the Li utilization(90.1% vs. 70.1% for Cu foil) and life span(150 cycles vs. 100 cycles for Cu foil) with a low polarization of MGH electrode at an ultrahigh current of 15.0 mA/cm^2. Corrosion mechanisms of Mg-(0.25 and 2.5) Y alloy and Mg-(5, 8, and 15) Y alloy were uniform corrosion and pitting corrosion respectively, and the content of Mg_(24)Y_5 phases determined its effect acting as cathode to accelerate the corrosion or corrosion barrier to inhibit the corrosion. Corrosion resistance of Mg-(0.25, 2.5, 5, 8, and 15) Y alloys was as follows: Rt(Mg-0.25Y) < Rt(Mg-8Y) < Rt(Mg-15Y) < Rt(Mg-5Y) < Rt(Mg-2.5Y). Y could significantly improve the corrosion resistance of the Mg-Y alloy, but the excess of Y deteriorated the corrosion resistance of the Mg-Y alloy. | 7 | Enhanced removal of Cr(Ⅵ) by biochar with Fe as electron shuttles显示文摘Biochar is extensively used as an effective soil amendment for environmental remediation.In addition to its strong contaminant sorption capability, biochar also plays an important role in chemical transformation of contaminant due to its inherent redox-active moieties.However, the transformation efficiency of inorganic contaminants is generally very limited when the direct adsorption of contaminants on biochar is inefficient. The present study demonstrates the role of Fe ion as an electron shuttle to enhance Cr(Ⅵ) reduction by biochars. Batch experiments were conducted to examine the effects of Fe(Ⅲ) levels,pyrolysis temperature of biochar, initial solution pH, and biochar dosage on the efficiency of Cr(Ⅵ) removal. Results showed a significant enhancement in Cr(Ⅵ) reduction with an increase in Fe(Ⅲ) concentration and a decrease of initial pH. Biochar produced at higher pyrolysis temperatures(e.g., 700°C) favored Cr(Ⅵ) removal, especially in the presence of Fe(Ⅲ), while a higher biochar dosage proved unfavorable likely due to the agglomeration or precipitation of biochar. Speciation analysis of Fe and Cr elements on the surface of biochar and in the solution further confirmed the role of Fe ion as an electron shuttle between biochar and Cr(Ⅵ). | 9 | Effect of Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris) oil on the expression of p21 and CDK4 in HepG2 cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To research the anti-cancer mechanism of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris) oil in the human hepatoma cell line Hep G2.METHODS:Gas chromatography was used to analyze the components of Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris).We tested the inhibitory effect of Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris) oil on the human hepatoma cell line Hep G2 in vitro using 3-(4,5-Dimet hylt hiazol-2-yl)-2,5-dip henyltetrazoliumbromide assays.Fluorescence activating cell sorter analysis was used to examine the levels of apoptosis,and western blot and immunofluorescence were used to detect the expression of p21,p-p21 and CDK4 proteins.RESULTS:Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris)oil contains 45 ingredients,and L-ascorbic acid 2,6-bispalmitate was the main component and accounted for 44.96% of total drive-off peak area.Other components included(Z)-14-met hyl-8-exadecenal-acetal(8.56%),phytol(7.74%) and lauric acid(6.31%).Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris)oil treatment reduced the proliferation of Hep G2 cells and the half growth inhibition concentration(IC50) was 2.03 mg/m L.Furthermore,we also observed significantly increased Hep G2 cell apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner(P < 0.05).Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris) oil significantly increased the expression of p21 and p-p21 and significantly decreased the expression of CDK4 in Hep G2 cells compared with controls(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:Our results showed that Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris) oil has anti-cancer activities in Hep G2 cells,which is probably related to the upregulation of p21 and p-p21 and downregulation of CDK4 expression. | Liu Lei Chen Guang Wang Baixin Chen Liping Wang Shuqiu Liu Zhixin Ma Xiaoru Wang Fangfang Liang Yanfeng Wu Jiamei Yang Zhiwei | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,4: | 1 |

| 13 | Effects of input method and display mode of situation map on early warning aircraft reconnaissance task performance with different information complexities显示文摘Early Warning Aircraft(EWA)are the main force for air detection and its Human-Machine Interface(HMI)should be designed to support task efficiency and safety.With the appli-cation of advanced input method and interface design in EWA,little is known about their actual usability in terms of human factors and ergonomics.The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of the input method and display mode of the situation map on EWA reconnaissance task performance with different information complexities.Eighteen participants attended a three-factor within-subject design experiment with input method(touch screen and mouse),display mode of the situation map(color and grayscale),and information complexity(high and low)as the inde-pendent variables.Participant behavior performance,subjective workload,heart rate/heart rate variability,and eye movements were recorded as the dependent variables.The results suggest that a touch screen requires greater task completion time and has greater physical demands than mouse operation;however,it also facilitates information processing by reducing the average fixation time.Color mode significantly decreases saccade counts compared to grayscale mode and is considered more appropriate for target search tasks as it induces less visual search load.High information complexity produces significant negative effects on behavior performance and subjective workload.It also has significant interaction effects with input method on fixation and saccade counts.The findings have implications in the optimization design of Human–Machine Interface for EWA task systems. | Chaoran LIANG Shuang LIU Xiaoru WANYAN Chengping LIU Xu XIAO Yuchen MIN | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,1: | 1 |

| 16 | Epidemiological Characteristics of Human Parainfluenza Viruses Infections-China,2019-2023显示文摘Introduction:A retrospective study based on sentinel surveillance was conducted in 10 provinciallevel administrative divisions(PLADs)in China to enhance the understanding of the epidemiological characteristics of human parainfluenza viruses(HPIVs).Methods:From January 2019 to June 2023,respiratory specimens were collected from individuals with acute respiratory infections(ARIs)and screened for four HPIVs serotypes and other common respiratory viruses using multiplex real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR).This study analyzed the association of HPIVs infections with seasonal patterns,geographical distribution,demographic profiles,clinical features,and co-infection status.Results:During the study period,a total of 12,866 ARIs were included.The overall detection rate of HPIVs was 6.15%,varying from 5.04%in 2022 to 9.70%in 2020.The median age of HPIVs-infected patients was 3 years.HPIV2 was more prevalent among individuals aged 5–17 years(42.57%),while HPIV4 was more common in those over 65 years(12.24%).HPIV3(54.16%)and HPIV1(27.18%)were the predominant serotypes,and their prevalence exhibited significant seasonal fluctuations postcoronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.The peak of HPIV3 shifted three months later in 2020 compared to 2019 and returned to a summer peak thereafter.Two peaks of HPIV1 were observed in 2021 following the peak of HPIV3.Additionally,coinfections were frequent in HPIVs cases(overall rate:22.12%),with human rhinovirus being the most common co-infecting virus.Conclusions:The prevalence of HPIVs in China was predominantly due to HPIV3 and HPIV1,and their seasonal patterns were altered by pandemic restrictions.Hence,continuous surveillance of HPIVs is essential. | Yixuan Gao Yingwei Ma Daxing Feng Feng Zhang Biao Wang Xiaoqing Liu Bing Zhu Hui Xie Linqing Zhao Xiaoru Long Ying Chen Bing Wang Jie Jiang Zhen Zhu Yan Zhang Aili Cui Baicheng Xia Naiying Mao | 2024 | China CDC weekly2024,6,12: | 0 |

| 19 | Effects of co-exposure to lead and manganese on learning and memory deficits显示文摘Lead(Pb) and manganese(Mn) are common neurotoxins. However, individuals are subject to co-exposures in real life, and it is therefore important to study these metals in combination. Weaning Sprague-Dawley rats were given ad libitum access to drinking water solutions containing Pb(100 mg/L), Mn(2.5 mg/m L) or a mixture, and each treatment had its own minocycline(50 mg/(kg·day)) supplement group. The results showed a significant difference in spatial memory and induction levels of hippocampal long-term potentiation(LTP) in all exposure groups when compared with controls. The combined-exposure group exhibited the most pronounced effect when compared with each of the single-metal exposure groups.Microglia displayed activation at day 3 after exposure alone or in combination, while astrocytes showed activation at day 5, accompanied by decreased expression levels of GLAST,GLT-1, and GS. Furthermore, the levels of glutamate in the synaptic cleft increased significantly. When microglial activation was inhibited by minocycline, the activation of astrocytes and the expression of GLAST, GLT-1, and GS were both reversed. In addition, upon minocycline treatment, hippocampal LTP impairment and cognitive injury were significantly alleviated in each of the exposure groups. These results suggest that combined exposure to Pb and Mn can cause greater effects on cognition and synaptic plasticity when compared to single-metal exposure groups. | 20 | Effects of nanometer particles and water decoction of the Chinese medicine mixture of pinellia ternate and scorpion on P53 protein contents and apoptosis in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus of epileptic rats显示文摘BACKGROUND: Water decoction of the Chinese traditional medicine mixture of pinellia ternate and scorpion is an effective treatment for epilepsy. OBJECTIVE: To compare nanometer particles and effects of water decoction of Chinese traditional medicine mixture on P53 protein levels and apoptosis in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus of epileptic rats. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: This randomized, controlled molecular biology study was performed at the Key Laboratory of Child Neural Rehabilitation of Jiamusi University from October to December 2007. MATERIALS: Forty healthy male Wistar rats were used in this study. Convulsion rat models were established by intraperitoneal infusion of 35 mg/kg pentylenetetrazol, once a day, for 28 successive days. The Chinese traditional medicine mixture, comprising pinellia ternate, scorpion, centipede, bupleurum, peach pit and glycyrrhiza, was purchased from Beijing Tongrentang, China. The mixture was made into nanometer particles and water decoction. The apoptosis determination kit and P53 immunohistochemistry kit were bought from Boster, China. METHODS: Forty Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups of ten rats per group, control, nanometer particle, water decoction and epileptic model groups. Rats in the nanometer particle and water decoction groups were respectively treated with 300 mg/kg Chinese herb nanometer particle suspension and water decoction by gavage, once a day, for 28 days. Rats in the epileptic model group were fed an equal volume of saline by gavage. Rats in the control group were only administered with the same volume of saline by ga- vage. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Terminal deoxynucleotidyl Transferase Biotin-dUTP Nick End Labeling (TUNEL) and immunohistochemistry were used to respectively detect neuronal apoptosis and P53 protein expression in the rat brain cortex and hippocampus at 28 days following administration. RESULTS: The number of apoptotic neurons was lower in the nanometer particle and water decoction groups compared with the epileptic model group. The number of apoptotic cells and P53 protein expression in the rat cerebral cortex and hippocampus was greater in the epileptic model group compared with the control group (P < 0.05), but lower in the nanometer particle and water decoction groups compared with the epileptic model group (P < 0.05), and lower in the nanometer particle group compared with the water decoction group (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: Chinese traditional medicine mixture decreases neuronal apoptosis and P53 protein expression in epileptic rats.
