2The state-of-the-art of the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite mission显示文摘The China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite(CSES) mission was proposed in 2003 and approved in 2013 after ten years' scientific and engineering demonstrations. To meet the requirement of scientific objectives, the satellite is designed to be in a sunsynchronous orbit with an altitude of 507 km and descending node time of 14:00 LT. The CSES satellite carries 8 instruments,including search-coil magnetometer(SCM), electric field detector(EFD), high precision magnetometer(HPM), GNSS occultation receiver(GOR), plasma analyzer package(PAP), langmuir probe(LAP), high energetic particle package(HEPP) and detector(HEPD), and tri-band beacon(TBB), among which HEPD is provided by Italian Space Agency. The CSES satellite was launched successfully on February 2, 2018, and is planned to operate for 5 years. 3Stability of Ultra-fine Microstructures during Tempering显示文摘The stability of ultra-fine microstructure during tempering at 650℃ was investigated on a Nb-containing steel. The steel had undergone 5 passes controlled rolling, then was relaxed (air cooled) to 730 ℃ and cooled in water The evolution of microstructure was that, in early stage of tempering, no obvious change was detected by means of optical microscopy while dislocation cells were formed inside bainitic laths. With further tempering, bainitic laths started to coalesce in some regions. Finally, polygonal ferrite was formed while hardness decreased dramatically. Some samples taken from the same primary plate were reheated at 930 ℃for 0.5 h followed by quenching into water before tempering. Despite their lower original hardness, the reheated samples softened faster during tempering. Ferrite was quickly formed in the reheated samples. 4Relaxation of Deformed Austenite and Refinement of Bainite in a Nb-Containing Microalloyed Steel显示文摘By means of stress relaxation and strain-induced precipitation in deformed austenite, bainite with micron sheaves size was ob-tained in Nb-containing steel. Microstructures of deformed samples isothermally relaxed for various time followed by cooling in water were examined. Stress relaxation test and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were employed to detect precipitation of microalloy elements, such as Nb, Ti, during isothermal holding after deformation. All the samples were constituted by lath-like bainite along with acicular ferrite, but the size of bainitic sheaves and the amount of acicular ferrite were changed with relaxation time. To achieve optimum refinement, relaxation should be confined in the stage when the precipitates have sufficiently grown and started to coarsen. The sample having not undergone relaxation does not exhibit obvious refinement despite of its higher dislocation density. 6Energy-Theft Detection Issues for Advanced Metering Infrastructure in Smart Grid显示文摘With the proliferation of smart grid research,the Advanced Metering Infrastructure(AMI) has become the first ubiquitous and fixed computing platform. However,due to the unique characteristics of AMI,such as complex network structure,resource-constrained smart meter,and privacy-sensitive data,it is an especially challenging issue to make AMI secure. Energy theft is one of the most important concerns related to the smart grid implementation. It is estimated that utility companies lose more than $25 billion every year due to energy theft around the world. To address this challenge,in this paper,we discuss the background of AMI and identify major security requirements that AMI should meet. Specifically,an attack tree based threat model is first presented to illustrate the energy-theft behaviors in AMI. Then,we summarize the current AMI energy-theft detection schemes into three categories,i.e.,classification-based,state estimation-based,and game theory-based ones,and make extensive comparisons and discussions on them. 7A Special TMCP Used to Develop a 800MPa Grade HSLA Steel显示文摘The effect of relaxation after finished rolling on structures and properties of four microalloyed steel with different content of Nb and Ti was investigated. By alloy designing and control rolling + relaxation-precipitation-control phase transformation (RPC) process, a new 800 MPa grade HSLA plate steel could be obtained, the microstructure is composite ultra- fine lath bainite/martensite. The tempering process and mechanical properties of this kind of HSLA steel were investigated. 8Acupuncture at the Taixi(KI3) acupoint activates cerebral neurons in elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment显示文摘Our previous findings have demonstrated that acupuncture at the Taixi(KI3) acupoint in healthy youths can activate neurons in cognitive-related cerebral cortex. Here, we investigated whether acupuncture at this acupoint in elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment can also activate neurons in these regions. Resting state and task-related functional magnetic resonance imaging showed that the pinprick senstation of acupuncture at the Taixi acupoint differed significantly between elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment and healthy elderly controls. Results showed that 20 brain regions were activated in both groups of participants, including the bilateral anterior cingulate gyrus(Brodmann areas [BA] 32, 24), left medial frontal cortex(BA 9, 10, 11), left cuneus(BA 19), left middle frontal gyrus(BA 11), left lingual gyrus(BA 18), right medial frontal gyrus(BA 11), bilateral inferior frontal gyrus(BA 47), left superior frontal gyrus(BA11), right cuneus(BA 19, 18), right superior temporal gyrus(BA 38), left subcallosal gyrus(BA 47), bilateral precuneus(BA 19), right medial frontal gyrus(BA 10), right superior frontal(BA 11), left cingulate gyrus(BA 32), left precentral gyrus(BA 6), and right fusiform gyrus(BA 19). 9A Weakly Supervised Deep Learning Framework for Sorghum Head Detection and Counting显示文摘The yield of cereal crops such as sorghum(Sorghum bicolor L.Moench)depends on the distribution of crop-heads in varying branching arrangements.Therefore,counting the head number per unit area is critical for plant breeders to correlate with the genotypic variation in a specific breeding field.However,measuring such phenotypic traitsmanually is an extremely labor-intensive process and suffers from low efficiency and human errors.Moreover,the process is almost infeasible for large-scale breeding plantations or experiments.Machine learning-based approaches like deep convolutional neural network(CNN)based object detectors are promising tools for efficient object detection and counting.However,a significant limitation of such deep learningbased approaches is that they typically require a massive amount of hand-labeled images for training,which is still a tedious process.Here,we propose an active learning inspired weakly supervised deep learning framework for sorghum head detection and counting from UAV-based images.We demonstrate that it is possible to significantly reduce human labeling effort without compromising final model performance(��2 between human count and machine count is 0.88)by using a semitrained CNN model(i.e.,trained with limited labeled data)to perform synthetic annotation.In addition,we also visualize key features that the network learns.This improves trustworthiness by enabling users to better understand and trust the decisions that the trained deep learning model makes.Sambuddha Ghosal Bangyou Zheng Scott CChapman Andries BPotgieter David RJordan Xuemin Wang Asheesh KSingh Arti Singh Masayuki Hirafuji Seishi Ninomiya Baskar Ganapathysubramanian Soumik Sarkar Wei Guo 2019Plant Phenomics2019,1,1:16
10Refinement of packet size in low carbon bainitic steel by special thermo-mechanical control process显示文摘The packet size of bainitic steel can be refined by a special relaxation-precipitation-control phase transformation (RPC)technology. When processed by RPC process, the low carbon bainitic steel composes of two kinds of main intermediate transformation phases. One is ultra-fine lath-like bainitic ferrite and the lath is less than 1 μm in width and about 6 μm in length; the alignment of laths forms a refined packet, and the size of packets is about 5-7 μm in length and about 3-4 μm in width. The other is acicular structure. The morphology and distribution of these acicular structures are influenced by relaxation process, the thin and short acicular structures cut the prior austenite grain and refine the bainitic packet size. For the optimum relaxation time, the packet size can be refined to the finest. 11Analysis of ionospheric anomaly preceding the Mw7.3 Yutian earthquake显示文摘On February 12,2014,a large Mw7. 3 earthquake occurred in Yutian of Xijiang Province,China.We processed the global ionosphere maps provided by CODE( the Center for Orbit Determination in Europe)and the foF2( the critical frequency of F2-layer) data of Chongqing ionosonde station to analyze the preearthquake ionospheric anomalies. Solar activities and magnetic storm were checked by the sliding inter quartile range method to remove their effects on the ionosphere. A positive ionospheric anomaly with the large amplitude of 20 TECU was observed near the epicenter on February 3( 10th day before the earthquake). In addition,the foF2 at Chongqing station had an unusual increase of more than 40% on the day,which was consistent with the TEC( Total Electron Content) anomaly. The global disturbance represents that the peak of TEC anomaly didn't coincide with the vertical projection of epicenter. The TEC anomalous area was closer to the equator,and it mainly occurred from local time 16 ∶ 00 to 20 ∶ 00. 12Preliminary analysis on the relationships between Tibetan Plateau NDVI change and its surface heat source and precipitation of China显示文摘Using the automatic weather station data obtained from the Tibetan Plateau (TP), the normalized dif- ference vegetation index and the monthly precipitation data of China and by the methods of correlation and composite analysis, preliminary analytical results are achieved concerning the relationships be- tween TP NDVI change and its surface heat source and precipitation of China. The results of our re- search may lead to the following conclusions: (1) A positive correlation relationship exists between TP NDVI change and its surface heat source, including the sensible heat and the latent heat. As to the correlation of the former, it is more remarkable in western TP than in eastern TP, and as to the correla- tion of the latter, however it turns out contrary. (2) With the improvement of TP vegetation, its surface heat source of every season is also mainly reinforced, especially in summer. As to the contribution of the sensible heat and the latent heat to the increment of the TP surface heat source intensity, the for- mer is comparatively more significant than the latter in winter and spring, while in summer and autumn, the two have almost the same importance. (3) The correlation coefficient between summer NDVI over TP and the corresponding period precipitation of China displays a belt distribution of '+?+' from south to north China. 13The earthquake-related disturbances in ionosphere and project of the first China seismo-electromagnetic satellite显示文摘Based on the case studies and statistical analysis of earthquake-related ionospheric disturbances mainly from DEMETER satellite,ground-based GPS and ionosounding data,this paper summarizes the statistical characteristics of earthquake-related ionospheric disturbances,including electromagnetic emissions,plasma perturbations and variation of energetic particle flux.According to the main results done by Chinese scientists, fusing with the existed study from global researches,seismo-ionospheric disturbances usually occurred a few days or hours before earthquake occurrence.Paralleling to these case studies,lithosphere-atmosphere-ionosphere (LAI) coupling mechanisms are checked and optimized.A thermo-electric model was proposed to explain the seismo-electromagnetic effects before earthquakes.A propagation model was put forward to explain the electromagnetic waves into the ionosphere.According to the requirement of earthquake prediction research,China seismo-electromagnetic satellite,the first space-based platform of Chinese earthquake stereoscopic observation system,is proposed and planned to launch at about the end of 2014.It focuses on checking the LAI model and distinguishing earthquake-related ionospheric disturbance.The preliminary design for the satellite will adopt CAST-2000 platform with eight payloads onboard.It is believed that the satellite will work together with the ground monitoring network to improve the capability to capture seismo-electromagnetic information,which is beneficial for earthquake monitoring and prediction researches.Xuhui Shen Xuemin Zhang Lanwei Wang Huaran Chen Yun Wu Shigeng Yuan Junfeng Shen Shufan Zhao Jiadong Qian Jianhai Ding 2011Earthquake Science2011,24,6:13

16Parallel Planning:A New Motion Planning Framework for Autonomous Driving显示文摘Motion planning is one of the most significant technologies for autonomous driving. To make motion planning models able to learn from the environment and to deal with emergency situations, a new motion planning framework called as'parallel planning' is proposed in this paper. In order to generate sufficient and various training samples, artificial traffic scenes are firstly constructed based on the knowledge from the reality.A deep planning model which combines a convolutional neural network(CNN) with the Long Short-Term Memory module(LSTM) is developed to make planning decisions in an end-toend mode. This model can learn from both real and artificial traffic scenes and imitate the driving style of human drivers.Moreover, a parallel deep reinforcement learning approach is also presented to improve the robustness of planning model and reduce the error rate. To handle emergency situations, a hybrid generative model including a variational auto-encoder(VAE) and a generative adversarial network(GAN) is utilized to learn from virtual emergencies generated in artificial traffic scenes. While an autonomous vehicle is moving, the hybrid generative model generates multiple video clips in parallel, which correspond to different potential emergency scenarios. Simultaneously, the deep planning model makes planning decisions for both virtual and current real scenes. The final planning decision is determined by analysis of real observations. 18Detection of ALK translocation in non-small cell lung carcinoma(NSCLC) and its clinicopathological significance using the Ventana immunohistochemical staining method: a single-center large-scale investigation of 1,504 Chinese Han patients显示文摘Objective: The novel fully automated immunohistochemistry(IHC) assay-Ventana anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK)-D5F3 for screening ALK rearrangements has been approved by China's Food and Drug Administration in 2013, our previous study disclosed a highly specificity and sensitivity nearly 100%, and its efficacy needs to be evaluated in a large cohort of primary lung adenocarcinoma patients, and to compare clinicopathological features with ALK(+) and ALK(-) lung adenocarcinoma.Methods: A total of 1,504 consecutive surgical lung adenocarcinoma cases of Chinese Han population were collected and re-diagnosed according to the 2011 multidisciplinary classification of lung adenocarcinoma.Fully automated Ventana ALK-D5F3 IHC staining with a binary scoring was adopted to evaluate staining and correlated with clinicopathological characters, including age, sex, differentiation degree, histological subtype, lymph node metastasis, and clinical staging.ALK(+) patients were followed-up, and targeted therapy of ALKinhibitors was adopted and observed in patients with stage Ⅳ according to the NCCN guideline.Results: ALK positive adenocarcinomas were identified in 6.6% of the surgically resected 1,504 NSCLCs, and significantly younger than the negative group(P<0.05).Mucinous adenocarcinoma(28.2%) was determined to be predominant in ALK(+) cases, followed by the solid type(11.7%), specific type(6.8%), papillary type(5.6%), acinar type(5.5%), and lepidic type(3.1%), and the differences were statistically significant(χ~2=42.011, P<0.05).ALK(+) adenocarcinoma with lymph node metastasis(10.8%) were significantly higher than that without lymph node metastasis(4.5%)(χ~2=19.809, P<0.05); and ALK(+) in phase Ⅳ(20%) was significantly higher than phase Ⅲ(12.9%), phase Ⅱ(4.2%), phase Ⅰ(4.5%), and phase 0(0)(χ~2=36.068, P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression disclosed that patient age, AJCC staging, and histological mucinous subtype were correlated with ALK positive staining(OR=0.959, 1.578, 5.036, respectively).Sixty eight patients had followed-up results, five patients out of which primarily diagnosed or progressed into Stage Ⅳ benefited well from targeted therapy with Crizotinib.Conclusions: The ALK fusion protein was seen in 6.6% Chinese NSCLC patients, and mostly seen in younger, clinically higher staging, mucinous and solid predominant adenocarcinoma.Clinical trials in patients of Stage Ⅳ confirmed that ALK-D5F3 Ventana IHC is serviceable in screening ALK-positive candidates for molecular targeted therapy.Lin Yang Yun Ling Lei Guo Di Ma Xuemin Xue Bingning Wang Junling Li Jianming Ying 2016Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2016,28,5:8
19THF_1 mutations lead to increased basal and wound-induced levels of oxylipins that stimulate anthocyanin biosynthesis via COI_1 signaling in Arabidopsis显示文摘Mutants defective in chloroplast development or photosynthesis are liable to accumulate higher levels of anthocyanin in photo-oxidative stress.However,regulatory mechanisms of anthocyanin biosynthesis in the mutants remain unclear.Here,we investigated the mechanism by which the deletion of thylakoid formation1(THF1) leads to an increased level of anthocyanin in Arabidopsis thaliana L.Physiological and genetic evidence showed that the increased level of anthocyanin in thf1 is dependent on coronatine-insensitive1(COM)signaling.Our data showed that thf1 had higher levels of basalα-linolenic acid(α-LeA),and methyl jasmonate(JA)-induced α-LeA and 12-oxophytodienoic acid(OPDA) than the wild type(WT).Consistently,expression levels of phospholipase genes including pPLAIIα and PLA-Iγ1 were elevated in thf1.Furthermore,inhibition of lipase activity by bromoenol lactone,a specific inhibitor of plant pPLA,led to producing identical levels of anthocyanins in WT and thf1 plants.Interestingly,OPDA biosynthesis was triggered by light illumination in isolated chloroplasts,indicating that new protein import into chloroplasts is not required for OPDA biosynthesis.Thus,we conclude that the elevated anthocyanin accumulation in thf1 is attributed to an increase in JA levels.This JA-mediated signaling to coordinate plant metabolism and growth in stress may be conserved in other photosensitive mutants.Yi Gan Hong Li Ye Xie Wenjuan Wu Maoyin Li Xuemin Wang Jirong Huang 2014Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2014,56,9:8
20Stress-strain behavior of multi-phase high performance structural steel显示文摘A series of ferrite/bainite(F/B) multi-phase steels containing different volume fractions of ferrite were obtained.The effect of soft phase(ferrite) content on the work-hardening behavior of the steel was studied by the finite element simulation with V-BCC model and the modified Crussard-Jaoul(C-J) analysis.It is shown that the multi-phase steels have an excellent anti-deformation ability,such as higher stress ratio(R t1.5 /R t0.5),higher uniform elongation and lower yield to tensile strength ratio.For the F/B multi-phase steels,increasing the proportion of ferrite would help to increase the uniform elongation.However,introducing much more fraction of ferrite would not be helpful to improve the stress ratio of multi-phase steel.The ferrite plastic strain constrained by bainite would be beneficial to increasing the work hardening rate.The optimum proportion of ferrite will result both higher stress ratio and uniform elongation in multi-phase steel.NIE WenJin WANG XueMin WU ShengJie GUAN HaiLong SHANG ChengJia 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,7:8
