| 2 | Progress in Global Gas Hydrate Development and Production as a New Energy Resource显示文摘Natural gas hydrates have been hailed as a new and promising unconventional alternative energy,especially as fossil fuels approach depletion,energy consumption soars,and fossil fuel prices rise,owing to their extensive distribution,abundance,and high fuel efficiency.Gas hydrate reservoirs are similar to a storage cupboard in the global carbon cycle,containing most of the world's methane and accounting for a third of Earth's mobile organic carbon.We investigated gas hydrate stability zone burial depths from the viewpoint of conditions associated with stable existence of gas hydrates,such as temperature,pressure,and heat flow,based on related data collected by the global drilling programs.Hydrate-related areas are estimated using various biological,geochemical and geophysical tools.Based on a series of previous investigations,we cover the history and status of gas hydrate exploration in the USA,Japan,South Korea,India,Germany,the polar areas,and China.Then,we review the current techniques for hydrate exploration in a global scale.Additionally,we briefly review existing techniques for recovering methane from gas hydrates,including thermal stimulation,depressurization,chemical injection,and CH4-CO2 exchange,as well as corresponding global field trials in Russia,Japan,United States,Canada and China.In particular,unlike diagenetic gas hydrates in coarse sandy sediments in Japan and gravel sediments in the United States and Canada,most gas hydrates in the northem South China Sea are non-diagenetic and exist in fine-grained sediments with a vein-like morphology.Therefore,especially in terms of the offshore production test in gas hydrate reservoirs in the Shenhu area in the north slope of the South China Sea,Chinese scientists have proposed two unprecedented techniques that have been verified during the field trials:solid fluidization and formation fluid extraction.Herein,we introduce the two production techniques,as well as the so-called'fbur-in-one'environmental monitoring system employed during the Shenhu production test.Methane is not currently commercially produced from gas hydrates anywhere in the world;therefore,the objective of field trials is to prove whether existing techniques could be applied as feasible and economic production methods for gas hydrates in deep-water sediments and permafrost zones.Before achieving commercial methane recovery from gas hydrates,it should be necessary to measure the geologic properties of gas hydrate reservoirs to optimize and improve existing production techniques.Herein,we propose horizontal wells,multilateral wells,and cluster wells improved by the vertical and in dividual wells applied during existing field trials.It is noteworthy that relatively pure gas hydrates occur in seafloor mounds,within near-surface sediments,and in gas migration conduits.Their extensive distribution,high saturation,and easy access mean that these types of gas hydrate may attract considerable attention from academia and industry in the future.Herein,we also review the occurrence and development of concentrated shallow hydrate accumulations and briefly introduce exploration and production techniques.In the closing section,we discuss future research needs,key issues,and major challenges related to gas hydrate exploration and production.We believe this review article provides insight on past,present,and future gas hydrate exploration and production to provide guidelines and stimulate new work into the field of gas hydrates. | LIU Liping SUN Zhilei ZHANG Lei WU Nengyou Yichao Qin JIANG Zuzhou GENG Wei CAO Hong ZHANG Xilin ZHAI Bin XU Cuiling SHEN Zhicong JIA Yonggang | 2019 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,3: | 13 |
| 3 | Geochemical characteristics,cooling history and mineralization significance of Zhangtiantang pluton in South Jiangxi Province,P.R. China显示文摘The zircon SHRIMP dating of the Zhangtiantang granite gave an age of 159±7 Ma.,which shows that the granite was produced at the early Late Jurassic.The Ar-Ar plateau ages of biotite and K-feldspar from the Zhangtiantang pluton are 153.2±1.1 Ma and 135.8±1.2 Ma,respectively.The Ar-Ar anti-isochrone ages of biotite and K-feldspar are 152.5±1.7Ma and 135.4±2.7Ma,respectively.The ages represent the isotopic closure ages of minerals in the pluton.The Zhangtiantang granites are regarded as peraluminous crust-derived type granites to possess the typical geochemical characteristics of calc-alkaline rocks on continental margin,with enriched Si,K,Al(average value of A/CNK as 1.18),HREE,Rb,U,and Th,heavily depleted V,Cr,Co,Ni,Ti,Nb-Ta,Zr,Sr,P,and Ba,strongly negative Eu and common corundum normative(average value of C as 1.84).The εNd(t) values of the Zhangtiantang granite are-5.84 to-7.79,and t2DM values are 1.69 to 1.83 Ga,which indicates partial melting of continental-crust metamorphic sedimentary rocks during the Middle Proterozoic.The cooling history of the Zhangtiantang granitic pluton indicates that the cooling velocity of pluton was faster(about 67℃ /Ma) from zircon(158 Ma) to biotite(152 Ma),and was slower(about12℃ /Ma) from biotite(152.5 Ma) to K-feldspar(135.8 Ma).It can be deduced that the temporal gap(about 10 Ma) between the granite formmation and W-Sn mineralization in South China may be related to ordinary magma-hydrothermal processes by the variational cooling curve of the pluton.The Zhangtiantang pluton was formed in a compressive setting,with differentiation evolution and mineralization occurring in a relative relaxation setting. | MAO Jianren LI Zilong ZHAO Xilin ZHOU Jie YE Haimin ZENG Qitao | 2010 | Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2010,29,1: | 11 |

| 6 | The construction of a genetic linkage map of non-heading Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris ssp.chinensis Makino)显示文摘Non-heading Chinese cabbage(Brassica campestris ssp.chinensis Makino) is one of the most important vegetables in eastern China.A genetic linkage map was constructed using 127 doubled haploid(DH) lines,and the DH population was derived from a commercial hybrid 'Hanxiao'(lines SW-13 × L-118).Out of the 614 polymorphic markers,43.49% were not assigned to any of the linkage groups(LGs).Chi-square tests showed that 42.67% markers were distorted from expected Mendelian segregation ratios,and the direction of distorted segregation was mainly toward the paternal parent L-118.After sequentially removing the markers that had an interval distance smaller than 1 cM from the upper marker,the overall quality of the linkage map was increased.Two hundred and sixty-eight molecular markers were mapped into 10 LGs,which were anchored to the corresponding chromosome of the B.rapa reference map based on common simple sequence repeat(SSR) markers.The map covers 973.38 cM of the genome and the average interval distance between markers was 3.63 cM.The number of markers on each LG ranged from 18(R08) to 64(R07),with an average interval distance within a single LG from 1.70 cM(R07) to 6.71 cM(R06).Among these mapped markers,169 were sequence-related amplified polymorphism(SRAP) mo-lecular markers,50 were SSR markers and 49 were random amplification polymorphic DNA(RAPD) markers.With further saturation to the LG,the current map offers a genetic tool for loci analysis for important agronomic traits. | Yan Cheng Jianfeng Geng Jingyi Zhang Qian Wang Qingyu Ban Xilin Hou | 2009 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2009,36,8: | 9 |
| 7 | Shake-table testing of a self-centering precast reinforced concrete frame with shear walls显示文摘The seismic performance of a self-centering precast reinforced concrete(RC)frame with shear walls was investigated in this paper.The lateral force resistance was provided by self-centering precast RC shear walls(SPCW),which utilize a combination of unbonded prestressed post-tensioned(PT)tendons and mild steel reinforcing bars for flexural resistance across base joints.The structures concentrated deformations at the bottom joints and the unbonded PT tendons provided the self-centering restoring force.A 1/3-scale model of a five-story self-centering RC frame with shear walls was designed and tested on a shake-table under a series of bi-directional earthquake excitations with increasing intensity.The acceleration response,roof displacement,inter-story drifts,residual drifts,shear force ratios,hysteresis curves,and local behaviour of the test specimen were analysed and evaluated.The results demonstrated that seismic performance of the test specimen was satisfactory in the plane of the shear wall;however,the structure sustained inter-story drift levels up to 2.45%.Negligible residual drifts were recorded after all applied earthquake excitations.Based on the shake-table test results,it is feasible to apply and popularize a self-centering precast RC frame with shear walls as a structural system in seismic regions. | Lu Xilin Yang Boya Zhao Bin | 2018 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2018,17,2: | 9 |
| 8 | Determination of Ca,K,Mg and Fe in Four Fish Species by FAAS显示文摘A method for determining calcium(Ca),potassium(K),magnesium(Mg) and iron(Fe) in four fish species was optimized and validated.It included microwave mineralization of the samples and subsequent quantification by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy(FAAS) with Zeeman-effect background correction.Using HNO3(65%) and H2O2(33%) as extraction solutions,the optimal conditions of extraction were established as follows:0.5 g of sample mass;microwave time program of 300 W/5 min and 600 W/5 min.The method was free of matrix interferences.The linear correlation coefficients were ≥0.9991,the recovery percentage of analytes was from 99.31% to 103.70% and the RSD(relative standard deviation) was lower than 2.06%.The detection limits obtained were 32.3,43.2,14.0 and 68.6 ng mL-1 for Ca,K,Mg and Fe in FAAS respectively.It is shown that the method is rapid,simple,sensitive and accurate.The method was applied to the studies of digestibility and measurement of these nutrients in samples of fish collected from Norway,Japan and China. | CUI Xiaoli WANG Yijun SHE Xilin | 2010 | Journal of Ocean University of China2010,9,3: | 8 |
| 9 | Analysis of combustion instability via constant volume combustion in a LOX/RP-1 bipropellant liquid rocket engine显示文摘Turbulent two-phase reacting flow in the chamber of LOX/RP-1 bipropellant liquid rocket engine is numerically investigated in this paper. The predicted pressure and mean axial velocity are qualitatively consistent with the experimental measurements. The self-excited pressure oscillations are obtained without any disturbance introduced through the initial and boundary conditions. It is found that amount of abrupt pressure peaks appear frequently and stochastically in the head regions of the chamber, which are the important sources to drive and strengthen combustion instability. Such abrupt pressures are induced by local constant volume combustion, because local combustible gas mixtures with high temperature are formed and burnt out suddenly due to some fuel droplets reaching their critical state in a rich oxygen surrounding. A third Damkhler number is defined as the ratio of the characteristic time of a chemical reaction to the characteristic time of a pressure wave expansion to measure the relative intensity of acoustic propagation and combustion process in thrusters. The analysis of the third Damkhler number distributions in the whole thrust chamber shows that local constant volume combustion happens in the head regions, while constant pressure combustion presents in the downstream regions. Soil particles surrounding the leaking area could be mobilised, displaced, and even washed out of the soil matrix by the leaking fluid, generating a void or cavity. A two-dimensional simulation using a coupled discrete element method and lattice Boltzmann method (DEM-LBM) has been used to investigate the behaviour of a soil bed subject to a locally injected fluid, which represents a leak in a pipe. Various values of inter-particle surface energy were also adopted to model the mechanical effects of cohesive particles. | 15 | Nitrous oxide emissions from black soils with different pH显示文摘N2O fluxes as a function of incubation time from soil with different available N contents and pH were determined.Cumulative carbon dioxide(CO2) emissions were measured to indicate soil respiration.A 144-hr incubation experiment was conducted in a slightly acidic agricultural soil(pHH2O 5.33) after the pH was adjusted to four different values(3.65,5.00,6.90 and 8.55).The experiments consisted of a control without added N,and with NH+4-N and NO3-N fertilization.The results showed that soil pH contributed significantly to N2O flux from the soils.There were higher N2O emissions in the period 0-12 hr in the four pH treatments,especially those enhanced with Nfertilization.The cumulative N2O-N emission reached a maximum at pH 8.55 and was stimulated by NO3-N fertilization(70.4 μg/kg).The minimum emissions appeared at pH 3.65 and were not stimulated by NO3-N or NH+4-N fertilization.Soil respiration increased significantly due to N-fertilization.Soil respiration increased positively with soil pH(R 2 = 0.98,P < 0.01).The lowest CO2-C emission(30.2 mg/kg) was presented in pH 3.65 soils without N-fertilization.The highest CO2-C emissions appeared in the pH 8.55 soils for NH+4-N fertilization(199 mg/kg).These findings suggested that N2O emissions and soil respiration were significantly influenced by low pH,which strongly inhibits soil microbial nitrification and denitrification activities.The content of NO3-N in soil significantly and positively affected the N2O emissions through denitrification. | Lianfeng Wang Huachao Du Zuoqiang Han Xilin Zhang | 2013 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,6: | 6 |

| 17 | Large Eddy Simulation of a dilute particleladen turbulent flow over a backwardfacing step显示文摘Dilute gas-particle turbulent flows over a backward-facing step are numerically simulated by Large Eddy Simulation (LES) for the continuous phase and Lagran- gian particle trajectory method for the particle phase. Predicted results of mean velocities and fluctuating velocities of both phases agree well with the experimental data, and demonstrate that the main characteristics of the flow are accurately captured by the simulations. Characteristics of separation and reattachments as well as essential features of the coherent structure are obtained, in which the processes of vortex roll up, growth, pairing and breaking up are shown in details. Particle dispersions are then investigated through particles’ instantaneous distri- butions in coherent structure as well as the mean and fluctuating properties of particle number density (PND). The predicted mean PND agree well with experiment results. For small particles, the instantaneous distributions show much preferential concentration, while their mean PND shows more uniform distribution in down- stream region. On the contrary, for large particles, their instantaneous distributions are much uniform (without clear preferential concentration) due to less effect of large eddy coherent, while their mean PND across the section is not uniform for more particles are distributed in the main flow region.
