1Distributions of typical contaminant species in urban short-term storm runoff and their fates during rain events:A case of Xiamen City显示文摘The pollutants in urban storm runoff,which lead to an non-point source contamination of water environment around cities,are of great concerns.The distributions of typical contaminants and the variations of their species in short term storm runoff from different land surfaces in Xiamen City were investigated.The concentrations of various contaminants,including organic matter,nutrients(i.e.,N and P) and heavy metals,were significantly higher in parking lot and road runoff than those in roof and lawn runoff.The early runoff samples from traffic road and parking lot contained much high total nitrogen(TN 6-19 mg/L) and total phosphorus(TP 1-3 mg/L).A large proportion(around 60%) of TN existed as total dissolved nitrogen(TDN) species in most runoff.The percentage of TDN and the percentage of total dissolved phosphorus remained relatively stable during the rain events and did not decrease as dramatically as TN and TP.In addition,only parking lot and road runoff were contaminated by heavy metals,and both Pb(25-120 μg/L) and Zn(0.1-1.2 mg/L) were major heavy metals contaminating both runoff.Soluble Pb and Zn were predominantly existed as labile complex species(50%-99%),which may be adsorbed onto the surfaces of suspended particles and could be easily released out when pH decreased.This would have the great impact to the environment.Qunshan Wei Gefu Zhu Peng Wu Li Cui Kaisong Zhang Jingjing Zhou Wenru Zhang 2010Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,4:17
2Dynamic recrystallization behavior of GH4169G alloy during hot compressive deformation显示文摘The microstructure evolutions and nucleation mechanisms of GH4169G alloy were studied by optical microscope, electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). The hot compression tests were performed different imposed reductions in the range of true strain from 0.12 to 1.2 at the temperatures of 930 °-1050 ° with strain rates of 0.01 s^-1-l s^-1. It is found that cumulative and local misorientation increase firstly and then decrease when the strain is increased due to the progress of dynamic recrystallization (DRX). The low angle boundaries (LAGBs) rapidly develop to high angle boundaries (HAGBs) at relatively high deformation temperature or the low strain rate. There are three DRX mechanisms observed for GH4169 G alloy during hot deformation. Discontinuous dynamic recrystallization (DDRX) as the dominant mechanism for GH4169 G alloy is characterized by typical necklace structures and bulged-original boundaries. Besides, different deformation bands with dislocation cells formed in deformed matrix at low temperature and large strain, which indicates that continuous dynamic recrystallization (CDRX) contributed to the DRX process. 9High electrocaloric effect in barium titanate-sodium niobate ceramics with core-shell grain assembly显示文摘Electrocaloric effect(ECE)is promising in realizing solid-state cooling as an alternative to the conventional refrigeration with environmentally harmful coolant and low efficiency.High ECE in lead-free ferroelectric ceramics is highly desirable for the EC cooling.In this work,different from the researches that tune the ECE by conventional compositional design or external stress engineering,we fabricated the(1-x)BaTiO_(3)-xNaNbO_(3)(BTO-xNN)lead-free ceramics with a core-shell grain structure arising from the inhomogeneous stoichiometry of element distribution,leading to the internal compressing stress in the grains.It is interesting that the phase transition behavior,including the phase transition temperature and the diffusion property,is regulated by the core-shell grain structure induced internal stress,which can be capitalized on for the favorable ECE.Cooperated with 0.02 NN,a high ECE,e.g.adiabatic temperature change(ΔT)of 3.6 K and isothermal entropy change(ΔS)of 4.5 J kg^(-1) K^(-1),is attained in the BTO ceramic.As the internal stress further increases with more NN,the BTO-0.06NN exhibits an extremely stable ECE with a variety rate below ±4% in a wide temperature range from 300 K to 360 K.This work provides a novel approach to explore pronounced ECE in lead-free ferroelectrics for eco-friendly refrigeration.Chao Zhang Quanpei Du Wenru Li Dong Su Meng Shen Xiaoshi Qian Bing Li Haibo Zhang Shenglin Jiang Guangzu Zhang 2020Journal of Materiomics2020,6,3:4
10Grain size distribution at four developmental stages of crescent dunes in the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert,China显示文摘Although scientists have performed many studies on crescent (barchan) dunes in the Taklimakan Desert,few studies reported the changes in grain size at different development stages of crescent dunes.In order to evaluate the changing trends of surface sediment grain size with dune development,we investigated the grain size characteristics at four developmental stages (oval sand pile,shield dune,incipient crescent dune and mature crescent dune) of crescent dunes by measuring the morphology of sand dune and observing the near-surface wind regime.The dunes have developed in a wide inter-dune corridor between high compound longitudinal ridges in China's Taklimakan Desert.The surface sediments at four developmental stages of the crescent dunes were primarily composed of fine sands,followed by very fine and medium sands.Mean grain sizes ranged from 2.8 to 3.1 φ,with a unimodal distribution.The sands were moderately well-sorted,their distribution varied from platykurtic to very platykurtic,and symmetrical or skewed towards the fine particles.From oval sand piles through shield and incipient crescent dunes to mature crescent dunes,incipient grain size gradually increased,particles became finer,sorting became better,kurtosis and skewness increased.Grain sizes on the surface layer became coarser upwards from the toe of the windward slope and then became finer towards the bottom of the leeward slope.We found that the coarsest particles at different positions at the four developmental stages were different.The coarsest particles were distributed at the top of the oval sand piles and shield dunes,versus at the middle of the windward slope of the incipient and mature crescent dunes.Correlations between the mean grain size and other grain size parameters showed that as mean grain size became finer,sorting became better and kurtosis became wider,but skewness changed only slightly.In addition,grain size variation in the surface sediments correlated with the movement speed of the dunes in the study area.In the open ground among tall-complex longitudinal ridges in the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert where aeolian environment is characterized by comparatively strong wind and unsaturated sand flow,faster dune movement corresponded to coarser grain size.JIA Wenru ZHANG Chunlai LI Shengyu WANG Haifeng MA Xuexi WANG Ningbo 2016Journal of Arid Land2016,8,5:4
11Effect of Phosphorus on Mechanical Properties and Thermal Stability of Fine-grained GH761 Alloy显示文摘The effect of phosphorus on mechanical properties and thermal stability of fine-grained GH761 alloy has been investigated.The results show that,when the content of phosphorus is in the range of 0.0007-0.040,there are no significant effects on the tensile properties.Phosphorus strongly affects the stress rupture life.The content of 0.023 P results in the longest life in this experiment.Compared with that of the alloy with 0.0007 P,the life is increased more than 2 times in the alloy with 0.023 P.After ageing at 700℃ for 1000 h,the life reduced to some extent.However,phosphorus exhibits the similar effect on the life as before ageing.The tensile properties of the alloy are not influenced by long term ageing obviously.The present results suggested that the optimum content of phosphorus is 0.023.The phosphorus with this content can optimize the precipitates at the grain boundaries and prevent the excessive growth of the precipitates.The combining mechanical properties of GH761 alloy can be largely improved by phosphorus addition combined with grain refinement.Shulin Yang Wenru Sun Jianxi Wang Zhimei Ge Shouren Guo Zhuangqi Hu 2011Journal of Materials Science & Technology2011,27,6:3
12Role of P,S and B on Creep Behavior of Alloy 718显示文摘The doping of phosphorus, sulfur and boron in IN718 superalloy can remarkably influence the creep behavior. The modifications of the minor elements seem not to vary the stress exponent and the influences primarily concentrate on the effective diffusion coefficient. A pronounced beneficial interaction between P and B and a weaker detrimental interaction between P and S have been obtained. The preexponential frequency constant is proved to be strongly related with the creep activation energy because of the so-called compensation effect. The compensation temperature has been determined to be about 1080 K, which corresponds to the transformation temperature from rapidly coarsened γ’’ phase to δ phase. 13Segregation of Phosphorus and Precipitation of MNP-Type Phosphide at the Grain Boundary of IN706 Superalloy显示文摘The effect of phosphorus content and heat treatment on the segregation of phosphorus and precipitation of phosphide at the grain boundary of IN706 alloy has been investigated. The phosphide had a stoichiometry of MNP(M = Nb, Ti and N = Ni, Fe, Cr) and an orthorhombic crystal structure. The solubility of phosphorus in the grain matrix of IN706 alloy was determined to be between 0.008% and 0.013%.When soaked at 980 °C for 5 min, the phosphide was noticeably precipitated at grain boundaries with the grain size unchanged. When soaked at 980 °C for 3 h, the grains grew significantly, but the phosphide stayed at original grain boundaries which outlined the grain shape before soaking. Soaking at 1060 °C for 2 h fully dissolved the pre-existing phosphide but phosphorus atoms were not distributed uniformly in the grain matrix. When the holding time at 1060 °C was extended to 10 h, the phosphorus atoms were distributed uniformly in the grain matrix by sufficient diffusion, and the phosphide could only be formed at grain boundaries during the 980 °C soaking. 14Effects of nanoscale quantum dots in male Chinese loaches (Misgurnus anguillicaudatus):Estrogenic interference action,toxicokinetics and oxidative stress显示文摘Quantum dots (QDs) have received more and more attention as a novel example of nanocrystals due to their unique fluorescent characteristics. Recently, the toxicity and the potential environmental effects of QDs have become a research hotspot. In this work, in vivo endocrine disrupting effect, toxicokinetics and oxidative stress of QDs were characterized following the intraperitoneal dosing in Chinese loaches. Vitellogenin (Vtg) levels induced by E2 decreased significantly when administrated with the mixture of QDs and E2, which was consistent with the observations of histopathology in testes. The release of free Cd2+ from QDs and the non-specific adsorption of E2 by QDs might be the joint factors contributing to the inhibition of Vtg expression induced by E2 in the male Chinese loaches. In the muscle, bone, intestines, blood and testis, CdSe QDs reached the maximal concentration (Cmax) in approximately 1-h postinjection and subsequently presented downtrend with the prolonged time. Whereas, there were even increasing tendencies of CdSe QDs' concentrations in the liver and kidney. It is educible that CdSe QDs can be persistent at least for 7 days, indicating the overall half-life of CdSe QDs in the fish body is very long. The measurement of hepatic superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and reduced glutathione (GSH) content indicate that QDs have smaller effects on the antioxidative system of the organisms compared with free Cd2+ due to the effective prevention of the release of Cd by PEG coating of QDs. 16Multiple Relay Selection Based on Game Theory in Cooperative Cognitive Radio Networks显示文摘Due to the inefficiency of traditional fixed spectrum allocation policies,the paradox of apparent spectrum scarcity occurs while most of the bands are underutilized.This has prompted proposals for Dynamic spectrum sharing(DSS),which explains why Cognitive radio network(CRN)has been widely accepted as a promising approach to settle inefficient usage of scarce available radio spectrum.As a subset of DSS,Dynamic spectrum leasing(DSL)strategy has been proposed based on game idea,where Primary user(PU)has an incentive to allow Cognitive users(CUs)to access its licensed spectrum for a fraction of time in exchange for revenue.This paper proposes an approach,named multiple relay selection based on Game theory(GTMRS),to optimize the utilities of PU and CUs as a whole,where a pricing-based spectrum leasing mechanism is applied.While the parameter price c is jointly determined by PU and CUs,all selected cognitive user’s optimal cooperative powers can be satisfied through a non-cooperative game among themselves.Numerical results show that more CUs are involved in the cooperation and both utilities of PU and CUs as a whole are improved,which means the whole system throughput is increased.WU Renyong WANG Wenru LI Renfa 2017Chinese Journal of Electronics2017,26,3:2
17Effect of Phosphorus on Stress Rupture Properties of GH4133 Ni-Base Superalloy显示文摘The effect of phosphorus on the stress rupture property of GH4133 alloy has been investigated and is compared with that of IN718 alloy. The GH4133 alloy is crept by dislocation movement. Phosphorus has a tendency to prolong the rupture life of some wrought superalloys by inhibiting the dislocation movement. If the phosphorus addition is too high, its effect on impairing the grain boundary cohesion overwhelms that on inhibiting the dislocation movement,and the life of the GH4133 alloy can be shortened. The two functions of inhibiting the dislocation movement and impairing the grain boundary cohesion determine that the optimum phosphorus content in the GH4133 alloy is around 0.011 wt pct. Phosphorus exhibits a greater effect on prolonging the rupture life of IN718 alloy than that of GH4133alloy. The two alloys are crept by different mechanisms. The intergranular phosphorus-bearing phase is precipitated in the IN718 alloy, while not in the GH4133 alloy. 18AUREA maintains the balance between chlorophyll synthesis and adventitious root formation in tomato显示文摘Flooding tolerance is an important trait for tomato breeding.In this study,we obtained a recessive mutant exhibiting highly enhanced submergence resistance.Phenotypical analyses showed that this resistant to flooding(rf)mutant displays slightly chlorotic leaves and spontaneous initiation of adventitious roots(ARs)on stems.The mutation was mapped to the phytochromobilin synthase gene AUREA(AU),in which a single amino acid substitution from asparagine to tyrosine occurred.In addition to the classic function of AU in phytochrome and chlorophyll biogenesis in leaves,we uncovered its novel role in mediating AR formation on stems.We further observed temporal coincidence of the two phenotypes in the rf mutant:chlorosis and spontaneous AR formation and revealed that AU functions by maintaining heme homeostasis.Interestingly,our grafting results suggest that heme might play roles in AR initiation via long-distance transport from leaves to stems.Our results present genetic evidence for the involvement of the AU–heme oxygenase-1–heme pathway in AR initiation in tomato.As fruit production and yield in the rf mutant are minimally impacted,the mutation identified in this study may provide a target for biotechnological renovation of tomato germplasm in future breeding.Junqing Wu Jie Cheng Chunmiao Xu Shilian Qi Wenru Sun Shuang Wu 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:2
19A New Method for Strengthening Wrought Superalloys-Micro-alloying with Phosphorus and Boron显示文摘The strengthening effect of phosphorus and boron on wrought superalloys is reviewed and discussed. The addition of phosphorus and boron can prolong the rupture life of some wrought superalloys over 3 times, and lowers the constant creep rate by an order of magnitude.
