| 1 | Characterization and Apparent Kinetics of Polymerization of 1-Decene Catalyzed by Boron Trifluoride/Alcohol System显示文摘Poly-α-olefin(PAO) synthetic oil is the base oil of high-quality lubricants, and has a huge market potential.We illustrate PAO synthesis by catalytic polymerization of 1-decene with a boron trifluoride(BF_3)/alcohol system. Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry, proton nuclear magnetic resonance and ^(13) C nuclear magnetic resonance analysis confirmed dimer, trimer and tetramer structures of PAO. Each component contained branched chains with a 1,2 insertion of a head-to-tail link; a 2,1 insertion of a tail-to-tail link and a methyl-containing linked structure. At a low conversion rate, the reaction rate was related directly with the reaction temperature and the catalyst/1-decene concentration. | 2 | Marginal sealing around integral bilayer scaffolds for repairing osteochondral defects based on photocurable silk hydrogels显示文摘Osteochondral repair remains a major challenge in current clinical practice despite significant advances in tissue engineering.In particular,the lateral integration of neocartilage into surrounding native cartilage is a difficult and inadequately addressed problem that determines the success of tissue repair.Here,a novel design of an integral bilayer scaffold combined with a photocurable silk sealant for osteochondral repair is reported.First,we fabricated a bilayer silk scaffold with a cartilage layer resembling native cartilage in surface morphology and mechanical strength and a BMP-2-loaded porous subchondral bone layer that facilitated the osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs.Second,a TGF-β3-loaded methacrylated silk fibroin sealant(Sil-MA)exhibiting biocompatibility and good adhesive properties was developed and confirmed to promote chondrocyte migration and differentiation.Importantly,this TGF-β3-loaded Sil-MA hydrogel provided a bridge between the cartilage layer of the scaffold and the surrounding cartilage and then guided new cartilage to grow towards and replace the degraded cartilage layer from the surrounding native cartilage in the early stage of knee repair.Thus,osteochondral regeneration and superior lateral integration were achieved in vivo by using this composite.These results demonstrate that the new approach of marginal sealing around the cartilage layer of bilayer scaffolds with Sil-MA hydrogel has tremendous potential for clinical use in osteochondral regeneration. | Xiaolin Wu Mingliang Zhou Fei Jiang Shi Yin Sihan Lin Guangzheng Yang Yuezhi Lu Wenjie Zhang Xinquan Jiang | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,11: | 7 |

| 5 | A formal model for integrity protection based on DTE technique显示文摘In order to provide integrity protection for the secure operating system to satisfy the structured protection class' requirements, a DTE technique based integrity protection formalization model is proposed after the implications and structures of the integrity policy have been analyzed in detail. This model consists of some basic rules for configuring DTE and a state transition model, which are used to instruct how the domains and types are set, and how security invariants obtained from initial configuration are maintained in the process of system transition respectively. In this model, ten invariants are introduced, especially, some new invariants dealing with information flow are proposed, and their relations with corresponding invariants described in literatures are also discussed. The thirteen transition rules with well-formed atomicity are presented in a well-operational manner. The basic security theorems correspond to these invariants and transition rules are proved. The rationalities for proposing the invariants are further annotated via analyzing the differences between this model and ones described in literatures. | 6 | Adhesive and corrosive wear at microscales in different vapor environments显示文摘Adhesive and corrosive wear at microscales are quantitatively distinguished in lifetime tests of resonant bulk-fabricated silicon microelectromechanical systems(MEMS).By analyzing the oscillation decay characteristics in different vapor environments,we find that wear is dominated by asperity adhesion during the initial stages of rubbing in dry N2 or O2/N2 mixtures;in these situations the transient wear rate is inversely proportional to the wear depth.But in water or ethanol vapors,chemical reactions between the corrosive adsorbed layer and the silicon substrate limit the wear rate to a constant.These observations are consistent with atomic explanations.The differences between adhesive and corrosive wear explain the advantages offered by lubricating with alcohol vapors rather than using dry environments for tribo-MEMS devices.Compared to ethanol,the relatively poor anti-wear effect of water vapor is explained by aggressive and rapid tribo-reactions. | Sihan SHEN Yonggang MENG | 2013 | Friction2013,1,1: | 3 |
| 7 | Breathable,antifreezing,mechanically skin-like hydrogel textile wound dressings with dual antibacterial mechanisms显示文摘Hydrogels are emerging as the most promising dressings due to their excellent biocompatibility,extracellular matrix mimicking structure,and drug loading ability.However,existing hydrogel dressings exhibit limited breathability,poor environmental adaptability,potential drug resistance,and limited drug options,which extremely restrict their therapeutic effect and working scenarios.Here,the current research introduces the first paradigm of hydrogel textile dressings based on novel gelatin glycerin hydrogel(glyhydrogel)fibers fabricated by the Hofmeister effect based wet spinning.Benefiting from the unique knitted structure,the textile dressing features excellent breathability(1800 times that of the commercially available 3 M dressing)and stretchability(535.51±38.66%).Furthermore,the glyhydrogel textile dressing can also withstand the extreme temperature of-80℃,showing the potential for application in subzero environments.Moreover,the introduction of glycerin endows the textile dressing with remarkable antibacterial property and expands the selection of loaded drugs(e.g.,clindamycin).The prepared glyhydrogel textile dressing shows an excellent infected wound healing effect with a complete rat skin closure within 14 days.All these functions have not been achievable by traditional hydrogel dressings and provide a new approach for the development of hydrogel dressings. | Sihan Jiang Jiajia Deng Yuhui Jin Bo Qian Wanqi Lv Qiangqiang Zhou Enhua Mei Rasoul Esmaeely Neisiany Yuehua Liu Zhengwei You Jie Pan | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,3: | 3 |

| 10 | Orchestration of energy metabolism and osteogenesis by Mg^(2+)facilitates low-dose BMP-2-driven regeneration显示文摘The clinical application of bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP-2)is limited by several factors,including ineffectiveness at low doses and severe adverse effects at high doses.To address these efficacy and safety limitations,we explored whether orchestration of energy metabolism and osteogenesis by magnesium ion(Mg^(2+))could reduce the dose and thereby improve the safety of BMP-2.Our results demonstrated that rapid metabolic activation triggered by BMP-2 was indispensable for subsequent osteogenesis.Moreover,inadequate metabolic stimulation was shown to be responsible for the ineffectiveness of low-dose BMP-2.Next,we identified that Mg^(2+),as an'energy propellant',substantially increased cellular bioenergetic levels to support the osteogenesis via the Akt-glycolysis-Mrs2-mitochondrial axis,and consequently enhanced the osteoinductivity of BMP-2.Based on the mechanistic discovery,microgel composite hydrogels were fabricated as low-dose BMP-2/Mg^(2+)codelivery system through microfluidic and 3D printing technologies.An in vivo study further confirmed that rapid and robust bone regeneration was induced by the codelivery system.Collectively,these results suggest that this bioenergetic-driven,cost-effective,low-dose BMP-2-based strategy has substantial potential for bone repair. | Sihan Lin Shi Yin Junfeng Shi Guangzheng Yang Xutao Wen Wenjie Zhang Mingliang Zhou Xinquan Jiang | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,12: | 2 |

| 14 | Thermal Behavior Analysis of Stacked-type Supercapacitors with Different Cell Structures显示文摘As a new energy storage element,supercapacitors have characteristics such as high power density,fast charge and discharge rates,green environmental protection,and long cycle life.Temperature is an important parameter of supercapacitors which significantly influences the stability of the supercapacitors.In this study,the finite element method is used to realize a coupling between a one-dimensional electrochemical model and a three-dimensional thermal model.Then,based on this model,the concept of limited cycle numbers is defined,and different unit quantities,unit size,and the effect of temperature under different temperature environments such as low temperature,room temperature,and high temperature on stacked-type supercapacitors is studied.Finally,stacked-type supercapacitors are compared with rolled-type supercapacitors considering the same cell size,density,and volume approximations.The simulation results show that the higher the number of packaging units,the lower is the limit cycle number.This phenomenon is more pronounced under high current than under low current conditions.Increasing the package size of the porous electrode or separator decreases the limiting cycles.Under the same unit volume scenario,improving the separator size proportion can accurately control the temperature rise at small current values.Under the same material,volume,and density approximations,the temperature rises slowly for stacked-type supercapacitors as compared to rolled-type supercapacitors.This phenomenon is more pronounced with an increase in current. | Yansong Li Sihan Wang Meina Zheng Jun Liu | 2018 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,1: | 2 |
