1Banana Fusarium Wilt(Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense)Control and Resistance, in the Context of Developing Wilt-resistant Bananas Within Sustainable Production Systems显示文摘Banana(Musa spp.) is seriously threatened by the soil-borne fungus Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense(Foc), also known as Panama disease.Attempts to control Fusarium wilt with fungicides damage soil health and have limited efficiency due to pathogenic variability. Elucidating the mechanism of infection and molecular basis of host defense through banana genome sequencing, genome editing and proteomic profile analysis will help formulate strategies to develop resistant cultivars. This will include research to better understand the functions of Fusarium wilt-resistance proteins. Transgenic approaches and protoplast fusion could be employed as tools for transferring resistance genes from wild relatives to commercial banana varieties, and may serve as a new strategy in solving the problems faced by banana breeding programmes.Evaluation of banana germplasm for resistance to Fusarium wilt using in vitro mutation and selection, along with somaclonal variation and somatic hybridization, could improve banana breeding efficiency for resistance against Foc. Plant hormones could also play an important role in regulating plant growth and defense by mediating developmental processes and signaling networks involved in banana responses to Foc. A complementary approach for managing Fusarium wilt, such as exclusion, surveillance and biological control as important components of integrated disease management programs must be considered to prevent and contain contagion. This includes studies on banana plant-microbe interactions, embracing both plant growth promoting rhizobacteria(PGPR) to induce Foc resistance, and exploring Foc-derived elicitors for inducing defense-related enzymes in bananas. The role of Silicon and crop and livestock integration must also be included in the Fusarium control toolbox. 3民间信仰影响战略决策吗?--基于超自然信念及中国企业高管的两层面研究显示文摘目前有关民间信仰对商业决策影响的研究中,超自然信念因其普遍性而受到了较为一致的关注。本文探讨了战略决策中超自然信念的影响及作用。本文认为,管理者除了应用理性决策与直觉决策外,有时也依赖于超自然的或非物理的因果性关系,即超自然信念。在个人(决策者)层面,本文检验了商业决策中的个人特质、超自然信念及其应用之间的关系。在事件(决策)层面,本文检验了决策特征与超自然信念的应用以及随后的决策结果的关系。利用中国高层管理者的样本,本文证实了在战略决策中存在超自然信念的影响,并且超自然信念的应用与理性和直觉的应用有着明显的差别。研究结果表明,管理者的核心自我评价与其对超自然信念的态度负相关,而趋利型导向则与对超自然信念的态度正相关;管理者在面临更重大的、不确定的、紧急的决策时会更多的应用超自然信念。与常识相反的是,超自然信念的应用对决策效果和满意度有正向影响。目前关于超自然信念对战略决策影响的系统性实证研究较少,因此本文拓展了对组织中战略决策的理解。陈震红 Sijun Wang 董俊武 2014管理世界2014,30,7:12
4Total mesopancreas excision for pancreatic head cancer: analysis of 120 cases显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the feasibility and safety of total mesopancreas excision(TMpE) in the treatment of pancreatic head cancer. Methods: The clinical and pathological data of 120 patients with pancreatic head cancer who had undergone TMpE in our center from May 2010 to January 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The mean operative time was(275.0±50.2) min and the average intra-operative blood loss was(390.0±160.5) mL. Post-operative complications were reported in 45 patients, while no peri-operative death was noted. The specimen margins were measured in three dimensions, and 86 patients(71.6%) achieved R0 resection. 6Microbial community structure in major habitats above 6000 m on Mount Everest显示文摘Bacterial abundance in surface snow between 6600 and 8000 m a.s.l. on the northern slope of Mt. Ev- erest was investigated by flow cytometry. Bacterial diversity in serac ice at 6000 m a.s.l., glacier melt- water at 6350 m, and surface snow at 6600 m a.s.l. was examined by constructing a 16S rRNA gene clone library. Bacterial abundance in snow was higher than that in the Antarctic but similar to other mountain regions in the world. Bacterial abundance in surface snow increased with altitude but showed no correlation with chemical parameters. Bacteria in the cryosphere on Mt. Everest were closely related to those isolated from soil, aquatic environments, plants, animals, humans and other frozen environ- ments. Bacterial community structures in major habitats above 6000 m were variable. The Cyto- phaga-Flavobacterium-Bacteroides (CFB) group absolutely dominated in glacial meltwater, while β-Proteobacteria and the CFB group dominated in serac ice, and β-Proteobacteria and Actinobacteria dominated in surface snow. 7High sensitivity D-shaped hole fiber temperature sensor based on surface plasmon resonance with liquid filling显示文摘A high sensitivity D-shaped hole double-cladding fiber temperature sensor based on surface plasmon resonance(SPR)is designed and investigated by a full-vector finite element method.Within the D-shaped hole doublecladding fiber,the hollow D-section is coated with gold film and then injected in a high thermo-optic coefficient liquid to realize the high temperature sensitivity for the fiber SPR temperature sensor.The numerical simulation results show that the peaking loss of the D-shaped hole double-cladding fiber SPR is hugely influenced by the distance between the D-shaped hole and fiber core and by the thickness of the gold film,but the temperature sensitivity is almost insensitive to the above parameters.When the thermo-optic coefficient is -2.8×10^(-4)∕℃,the thickness of the gold film is 47 nm,and the distance between the D-shaped hole and fiber core is 5μm,the temperature sensitivity of the D-shaped hole fiber SPR sensor can reach to -3.635 nm∕℃.SIJUN WENG LI PEI JIANSHUAI WANG TIGANG NING JING LI 2017Photonics Research2017,5,2:3
8LOWER DOSE OF AMINOGLYCOSIDE OTOTOXIC EXPOSURE CAUSES PRESYNAPTIC ALTERATIONS ASSOICATED WITH HEARING LOSS显示文摘Objective To study presynaptic alternations of cochlear ribbons arising from aminoglycoside ototoxic stimuli in C57BL/6J mice. Methods Animals were injected with low dose gentamicin(100 mg/kg/day) for14 days, From the 14 th to 28 th days, the mice were maintained free of gentamicin treatment. Immunohistochemistry labeling was employed to trace RIBEYE, a major presynaptic componment of ribbon synapses.RIBEYE/CtBP2 expression levels were assessed and compared with hearing threshold shifts. Auditory function was assessed by auditory brainstem responses. The stereocilia of outer hair cells(OHCs) and IHCs was examined by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Results Hearing thresholds were elevated with peak hearing loss observed on the 7th day after gentamicin exposure, followed by improvement after the 7th day.RIBEYE/CtBP2 expression directly correlated with observed hearing threshold shifts. Strikingly, we did not see any obvious changes in stereocilia in both OHCs and IHCs until the 28 th day. Mild changes in stereocilia were only observed in OHCs on the 28 th day. Conclusions These findings indicate that presynapse cochlear ribbons, rather than stereocilia, may be sensitive to aminoglycoside ototoxic exposure in mice cochleae. 10Rheological study on 3D printability of alginate hydrogel and effect of graphene oxide显示文摘In recent years,hydrogels have been used as important biomaterials for 3D printing of three dimensional tissues or organs.The key issue for printing a successful scaffold is the selection of a material with a good printability.Rheological properties of hydrogels are believed to pay an important role in 3D printability.However the relations between rheological properties of hydrogels and 3D printability have not been extensively studied.In this study,alginate-based hydrogels were prepared as a model material for an extrusion-based printer and graphene oxide was added to modify the rheological properties and 3D printability of the hydrogels.Rheological studies were performed for the hydrogel samples with different formulas.The range of shear rates that the hydrogels suffered during the printing process was deduced.This range of shear rates helped us to select a proper shear rate to investigate the thixotropic properties of the hydrogels.Furthermore,we also defined some measureable parameters to describe and discuss the quality of 3D printing.The present study shows a new approach to analysis of 3D printability of a hydrogel and also provides some suggestion for 3D printing of 3D scaffolds.Huijun Li Sijun Liu Lin Li 2016International Journal of Bioprinting2016,2,2:2
11Effect of glucose on the soil bacterial diversity and function in the rhizosphere of Cerasus sachalinensis显示文摘Most cherry orchards in China have low organic carbon content,though carbon is very important for plant growth.The changes in soil carbon and bacterial diversity were determined after different amounts of 12C-glucose were added to the rhizosphere of Cerasus sachalinensis.Soil bacteria diversity was measured using high throughput sequencing,and bacteria containing 13C-glucose were identified using DNA-SIP methods.The results demonstrated that soil microbial biomass carbon(MBC)content and the soil respiratory rate were increased at 3 and 7 days after adding glucose.The soil organic carbon(SOC)content was decreased on the 7th day in the treatment where the added glucose-C was equivalent to the MBC content.SOC content was decreased on the 15th day after adding glucose-C equivalent to five times that of the soil MBC.Compared to the controls,the relative abundance of taxa at the phylum level displayed no significant change in the treatments with glucose-C added as 10%and equal amount of soil MBC 3–30 days after treatment.However,the relative abundance of Proteobacteria increased significantly in the treatment with the addition of glucose-C equivalent to five times of soil MBC.The main changes were observed in the bacteria in several genera including A4,Flavisolibacter,Aquicella,and Candidatus Solibacter.DNA-SIP results indicated that the relative abundance of the Proteobacteria and Pseudomonas was the highest;these were the primary bacteria phylum and genus,respectively,from day 3 to day 15.In conclusion,the changing pattern demonstrated that with the addition of more glucose,the range of the bacterial communities changed more.Proteobacteria and Pseudomonas may be the bacteria promoting priming effect.Wenjie Zhou Xu Qin Deguo Lyu Sijun Qin 2021Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,4:2

15Epithelial-mesenchymal transition effect of fine particulate matter from the Yangtze River Delta region in China on human bronchial epithelial cells显示文摘Epidemiological studies have demonstrated that fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5)) exposure causes airway inflammation, which may lead to lung cancer. The activation of epithelial–mesenchymal transition(EMT) is assumed to be a crucial step in lung tumor metastasis and development. We assessed the EMT effect of low concentrations(0, 0.1, 1.0, and 5.0 μg/m L)of PM_(2.5) organic extract on a human bronchial epithelial cell line(BEAS-2 B). PM_(2.5) samples were collected from three cities(Shanghai, Ningbo, and Nanjing) in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD) region in autumn 2014. BEAS-2 B cells were exposed to the PM_(2.5) extract to assess cell viability, invasion ability as well as the relative m RNA and protein expressions of EMT markers. Our findings revealed that BEAS-2 B cells changed from the epithelial to mesenchymal phenotype after exposure. In all groups, PM_(2.5) exposure dose-dependently decreased the expression of E-cadherin and increased the expression of Vimentin. The key transcription factors, including ZEB1 and Slug, were significantly up-regulated upon exposure. These results indicated that the PM_(2.5) organic extract induced different degrees of EMT progression in BEAS-2 B cells. The cell invasion ability increased in a concentration-dependent manner after 48 hr of treatment with the extract.
