2Finite-time sliding mode attitude control for a reentry vehicle with blended aerodynamic surfaces and a reaction control system显示文摘This paper proposes a finite-time robust flight controller, targeting for a reentry vehicle with blended aerodynamic surfaces and a reaction control system(RCS). Firstly, a novel finite-time attitude controller is pointed out with the introduction of a nonsingular finite-time sliding mode manifold. The attitude tracking errors are mathematically proved to converge to zero within finite time which can be estimated. In order to improve the performance, a second-order finite-time sliding mode controller is further developed to effectively alleviate chattering without any deterioration of robustness and accuracy. Moreover, an optimization control allocation algorithm, using linear programming and a pulse-width pulse-frequency(PWPF) modulator, is designed to allocate torque commands for all the aerodynamic surface deflections and on–off switching-states of RCS thrusters.Simulations are provided for the reentry vehicle considering uncertain parameters and external disturbances for practical purposes, and the results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the attitude control system.Geng Jie Sheng Yongzhi Liu Xiangdong 2014Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,4:19
3Association of Dietary Pattern during Pregnancy and Gestational Diabetes Mellitus: A Prospective Cohort Study in Northern China显示文摘Objective To examine the association of maternal dietary patterns during pregnancy with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) in northern China.Methods The dietary intakes of pregnant women were recorded twice by 24‐hour dietary recalls for three days prior to having been diagnosed with GDM, at 5‐15 and 24‐28 gestational weeks, respectively.GDM was diagnosed, and serum glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c) was measured at 24‐28 weeks.Dietary patterns were assessed by factor analysis. The association of the dietary pattern with GDM and HbA1c was examined by multiple logistic models.Results Of 753 participants, 64(8.5%) were diagnosed with GDM. Four dietary patterns were identified: Western pattern(dairy, baked/fried food and white meat), traditional pattern(light‐colored vegetables, fine grain, red meat and tubers), mixed pattern(edible fungi, shrimp/shellfish and red meat)and prudent pattern(dark‐colored vegetables and deep‐sea fish). Compared with the prudent pattern,both the Western pattern and the traditional pattern were associated with an increased risk of GDM(a OR = 4.40, 95% CI: 1.58‐12.22; a OR = 4.88, 95% CI: 1.79‐13.32) and a high level of HbA1c(a OR = 12.37,95% CI: 1.47‐103.91; a OR = 26.23, 95% CI: 2.54‐270.74). 4A modified protocol with rituximab and intravenous immunoglobulin in emergent ABO-incompatible liver transplantation for acute liver failure显示文摘BACKGROUND: The established procedure for ABO-incompatible liver transplantation(ABO-I LT) was too complicated to be used in case of emergency. We developed a protocol consisting of rituximab and intravenous immunoglobulin(IVIG) for ABO-I LT in patients with acute liver failure(ALF).METHODS: The data from 101 patients who had undergone liver transplantation(LT) for ALF were retrospectively analyzed.The patients were divided into two groups: ABO-compatible liver transplantation group(ABO-C LT, n=66) and ABO-I LT group(n=35). All the patients in the ABO-I LT group received a single dose of rituximab(375 mg/m2) and IVIG(0.4 g/kg per day) at the beginning of the operation. IVIG was administered for 10 consecutive days after LT. Plasma exchange, splenectomy and graft local infusion were omitted in the protocol.Quadruple immunosuppressive therapy including basiliximab,corticosteroids, tacrolimus and mycophenolatemofetil was used to reinforce immunosuppression.RESULTS: The 3-year cumulative patient survival rates in the ABO-I LT and ABO-C LT groups were 83.1% and 86.3%,respectively(P>0.05), and the graft survival rates were 80.0%and 86.3%, respectively(P>0.05). Two patients(5.7%) suffered from antibody-mediated rejection in the ABO-I LT group.Other complications such as acute cellular rejection, biliary complication and infection displayed no significant differences between the two groups.CONCLUSIONS: The simplified treatment consisting of rituximab and IVIG prevented antibody-mediated rejection for LT of blood-type incompatible patients. With this treatment, the patients did not need plasma exchange, splenectomy and graft local infusion. 5Distribution characteristics of poly-and perfluoroalkyl substances in the Yangtze River Delta显示文摘In this work, a method was developed and optimized for the analysis of polyfluoroalkyl and/or perfluoroalkyl substances(PFASs) content in surface water and sediment samples with high instrumental response and good separation. Surface water and sediment samples were collected from the Yangtze River Delta(YRD) to analyze the distribution characteristics of perfluoroalkyl carboxylic acids(PFCAs), perfluoroalkane sulfonic acids(PFSAs), perfluoroalkyl phosphonic acids(PFPAs), perfluoroalkyl phosphinic acids(PFPiAs), and polyfluoroalkyl phosphoric acid diesters(di PAPs). The results showed that the total concentrations of PFCAs and PFSAs in YRD varied from 31 to 902 ng/L. PFCAs(≥ 11 carbons) and PFSAs(≥ 10 carbons atoms) were not detected in any surface water samples. The mean concentrations of all PFCAs and PFSAs in surface water from the sampling areas decreased in the following order:Yangtze river(191 ng/L) ≈ Taihu lake(189 ng/L) > Huangpu river(122 ng/L) ≈ Qiantang river(120 ng/L) > Jiaxing urban river(100 ng/L). Strong significant(p < 0.05) correlations between the concentrations of many of the compounds were found in the sampling areas, suggesting a common source for these compounds. Only perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA) was observed in all sediment samples, at concentrations varying from 0.02 to 1.35 ng/g. 6Circulating MicroRNAs as Novel Diagnostic Biomarkers for Very Early-onset(≤40 years) Coronary Artery Disease显示文摘Objective Very early-onset coronary artery disease(CAD) is a great challenge in cardiovascular medicine throughout the world,especially regarding its early diagnosis.This study explored whether circulating micro RNAs(mi RNAs) could be used as potential biomarkers for patients with very early-onset CAD.Methods We performed an initial screening of mi RNA expression using RNA isolated from 20 patients with angiographically documented very early-onset CAD and 20 age-and sex-matched normal controls.For further confirmation,we prospectively examined the mi RNAs selected from 40 patients with very early-onset CAD and 40 angiography-normal controls.Results A total of 22 overexpressed mi RNAs and 22 underexpressed mi RNAs were detected in the initial screening.RT-q PCR analysis of the mi RNAs obtained from the initial screening revealed that four mi RNAs including mi R-196-5p,mi R-3163-3p,mi R-145-3p,and mi R-190a-5p exhibited significantly decreased expression in patients compared with that in controls(P<0.05).The areas under the receiver operating characteristic curve for these mi RNAs were 0.824(95% CI,0.731-0.917;P<0.001),0.758(95% CI,0.651-0.864;P<0.001),0.753(95% CI,0.643-0.863;P<0.001),and 0.782(95% CI,0.680-0.884;P<0.001),respectively,in the validation set.Conclusion To our knowledge,this is an advanced study to report about four serum mi RNAs(mi R-196-5p,mi R-3163-3p,mi R-145-3p,and mi R-190a-5p) that could be used as novel biomarkers for the diagnosis of very early-onset CAD.DU Ying YANG Sheng Hua LI Sha CUI Chuan Jue ZHANG Yan ZHU Cheng Gang GUO Yuan Lin WU Na Qiong GAO Ying SUN Jing DONG Qian LIU Geng LI Jian Jun 2016Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2016,29,8:5

8Comparative evaluation of the diagnosis, reporting and investigation of malaria cases in China, 2005–2014: transition from control to elimination for the national malaria programme显示文摘Background:The elimination of malaria requires high-quality surveillance data to enable rapid detection and response to individual cases.Evaluation of the performance of a national malaria surveillance system could identify shortcomings which,if addressed,will improve the surveillance program for malaria elimination.Methods:Case-level data for the period 2005–2014 were extracted from the China National Notifiable Infectious Disease Reporting Information System and Malaria Enhanced Surveillance Information System.The occurrence of cases,accuracy and timeliness of case diagnosis,reporting and investigation,were assessed and compared between the malaria control stage(2005–2010)and elimination stage(2011–2014)in China's Mainland.Results:A total of 210730 malaria cases were reported in China's Mainland in 2005–2014.The average annual incidence declined dramatically from 2.5 per 100000 people at the control stage to 0.2 per 100000 at the elimination stage,but the proportion of migrant cases increased from 9.8%to 41.0%.Since the initiation of the National Malaria Elimination Programme in 2010,the overall proportion of cases diagnosed by laboratory testing consistently improved,with the highest of 99.0%in 2014.However,this proportion was significantly lower in non-endemic provinces(79.0%)than that in endemic provinces(91.4%)during 2011–2014.The median interval from illness onset to diagnosis was 3 days at the elimination stage,with one day earlier than that at the control stage.Since 2011,more than 99%cases were reported within 1 day after being diagnosed,while the proportion of cases that were reported within one day after diagnosis was lowest in Tibet(37.5%).The predominant source of cases reporting shifted from town-level hospitals at the control stage(67.9%cases)to city-level hospitals and public health institutes at the eliminate stage(69.4%cases).The proportion of investigation within 3 days after case reporting has improved,from 74.6%in 2010 to 98.5%in 2014.Conclusions:The individual case-based malaria surveillance system in China operated well during the malaria elimination stage.This ensured that malaria cases could be diagnosed,reported and timely investigated at local level.However,domestic migrants and overseas populations,as well as cases in the historically malarial non-endemic areas and hard-to-reach area are new challenges in the surveillance for malaria elimination.Jun-Ling Sun Sheng Zhou Qi-Bin Geng Qian Zhang Zi-Ke Zhang Can-Jun Zheng Wen-Biao Hu Archie C.A.Clements Sheng-Jie Lai Zhong-Jie Li 2016Infectious Diseases of Poverty2016,5,1:5
9Disaster reduction stick equipment: A method for monitoring and early warning of pipeline-landslide hazards显示文摘Oil and gas pipelines are of great importance in China,and pipeline security problems pose a serious threat to society and the environment.Pipeline safety has therefore become an integral part of the entire national economy.Landslides are the most harmful type of pipeline accident,and have directed increasing public attention to safety issues.Although some useful results have been obtained in the investigation and prevention of pipeline-landslide hazards,there remains a need for effective monitoring and early warning methods,especially when the complexity of pipeline-landslides is considered.Because oil and gas pipeline-landslides typically occur in the superficial soil layers,monitoring instruments must be easy to install and must cause minimal disturbance to the surrounding soil and pipeline.To address the particular characteristics of pipelinelandslides,we developed a multi-parameter integrated monitoring system called disaster reduction stick equipment.In this paper,we detail this monitoring and early warning system for pipeline-landslide hazards based on an on-site monitoring network and early warning algorithms.The functionality of our system was verified by its successful application to the Chongqing Loujiazhuang pipeline-landslide in China.The results presented here provide guidelines for the monitoring,early warning,and prevention of pipeline geological hazards.YAN Yan YANG Da-shen GENG Dong-xian HU Sheng WANG Zi-ang HU Wang YIN Shu-yao 2019Journal of Mountain Science2019,16,12:3

11Engineering defects and adjusting electronic structure on S doped MoO2 nanosheets toward highly active hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘The electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is one of the most promising ways for low-cost hydrogen production in the future.In this work,hetero S atoms were introduced into the MoO2 to enhance the catalytic activity by simultaneously adjusting electron structure,engineering lattice defect,and increasing oxygen vacancies.And the S doped MoO2 nanosheets with proper S doping amount show the enhanced performance for HER.The optimized catalyst shows a small onset overpotential as low as 120 mV,a low overpotential of 176 mV at the current density of 10 mA/cm^2 which is decreased 166 mV compared to that of the pristine MoO2 nanosheets,a low Tafel slope of 57 mV/decade,and a high turnover frequency of 0.13 H2/s per active site at 150 mV.This finding proposes an effective strategy to prepare nonprecious metal oxide catalyst for enhancing HER performance by rationally doping hetero atoms.Shuo Geng Yequn Liu Yong Sheng Yu Weiwei Yang Haibo Li 2020Nano Research2020,13,1:3

13Role of [18F] fludeoxyglucose positron emission tomography in the selection of liver transplantation candidates in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘BACKGROUND: The Milan criteria are widely accepted among many centers. However, patients with hepatocellular carcinoma beyond the Milan criteria might still benefit from liver transplantation(LT) when tumor itself is not aggressive. [^(18)F] fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography imaging could provide useful information of tumor behaviors, which is helpful to predict the prognosis for many tumors. METHOD: In order to determine its role in candidate selection for LT, we therefore retrospectively analyzed 103 recipients with preoperative positron emission tomography(PET) findings. RESULTS: Positive PET findings(PET+) were significantly associated with tumor nodule numbers(P=0.013), tumor grade(P=0.025), macro-(P=0.002) and micro-vascular invasion(P=0.002), as well as the Milan criteria(P=0.018). PET+ patients had significantly increased risk of tumor recurrence post-LT compared to PET negative(PETˉ) patients(P=0.007). The 1-, 3-, and 5-year overall survival rate of PETˉ patients were 96.0%, 87.2% and 76.2%, compared to 74.7%, 55.4% and 49.9% in PET+ patients, respectively(P<0.05). The 1-, 3-, and 5-year recurrence-free survival rate of PETˉ patients were 91.8%,81.9% and 76.0%, compared to 70.1%, 39.3% and 21.9% in PET+ patients, respectively(P<0.05). Recipients within the Milan criteria showed comparable 1-, 3-, and 5-year survival rates in comparison with those beyond the Milan criteria with a PETˉ findings(1-, 3-, and 5-year overall survival rates, 97.5%, 83.3%, and 83.3% vs 90.0%, 80.0%, and 66.7%, P= 0.123; 1-, 3-, and 5-year recurrence-free survival rates, 95.1%, 73.1%, and 73.1% vs 90.0%, 78.8%, and 65.6%, P=0.148).CONCLUSIONS: Certain patients with hepatocellular carcinoma and negative PET findings, who have exceeded the Milan criteria, are also eligible candidates for LT. 14FVS SCHEME FOR SEVERE TRANSIENT FLOW IN PIPE NETWORKS显示文摘An efficient numerical method with first and second order accuracy is developed by the flux split technology to simulate the water hammer problem in single and multiple pipe networks under severe transient conditions. The finite volume formulation ensures that both schemes conserve mass and momentum and produces physically realizable shock fronts. The conception of the fictitious cell at the junction is developed. The typical water hammer problem and the experiment with friction and the comprehensive orbicular network with control valve and pressure relief valve and surge tank are implemented to test the numerical method. 17Groundwater net discharge rates estimated from lake level change in Badain Jaran Desert, Northwest China显示文摘Over a hundred sizable lakes,some even larger than^1 km2,are distributed across the lowlands between megadunes in the southeastern Badain Jaran Desert(BJD),northwest China.With rather limited precipitation and hardly any surface runoff,these lakes are fed mainly by groundwater.However,the source of the groundwater and the groundwater discharge rates to these lakes are poorly understood.Water level and temperature of four representative lakes in the southeastern BJD were monitored continuously between 2013 and 2017.Water surface evaporation and rainfall in this area were also measured.Combining these acquired data,groundwater discharge rates were estimated using water balance models.The results show that the four lakes have similar recharge and discharge patterns,but at different average net groundwater discharge rates ranging from 1.79 to 3.09 mm d?1.The lake level variation mainly depends on groundwater discharge and lake surface evaporation.We found that diurnal lake level variation may be controlled by earth tide and atmospheric pressure change,and is five times greater than the evaporation.The desert precipitation and deep confined groundwater with high temperature were found also recharging the desert lakes.An Empirical Mode Decomposition(EMD)method was used to identify the lake level trend.All lake levels increased over the last four years,except one decreased in 2015 and 2016.The lake levels’increasing trend is synchronously similar with the precipitation in north China.This study analyzes annual and seasonal lake level variations,and also finds the diurnal water cycle between the groundwater and lake water for the first time.Xingfan WANG Hui ZHAO Yongwei SHENG Jianwei GENG Keqi WANG Hongyu YANG 2020Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,5:2
18Degradation and mineralization of 2-chlorophenol in a single-stage anaerobic fixed-bed bioreactor显示文摘Chlorophenols(CPs) have drawn great attention due to their high toxicity and ubiquitous presence in the environment. However,the practical application of anaerobic biodegradation to remove CPs is limited by low degradation rate and incomplete mineralization. This work aims to apply a single-stage anaerobic fixed-bed bioreactor(An FBR) for complete anaerobic dechlorination and mineralization of CPs. Results showed that 2-CP removal efficiency of 99.4%, chemical oxygen demand(COD)removal efficiency of 93.0%, and methane yield of 0.22 L-CH4/g-COD could be obtained for a wide range of 2-CP loading rates(3.6–18.2 mmol L–1 d–1). Nearly complete anaerobic mineralization of 2-CP was achieved even in the absence of co-substrates,thereby greatly reducing the operation cost. This may be partly related to the attached-growth microorganisms in An FBR,allowing a higher biomass concentration and longer biomass retention time for enhanced 2-CP removal. Moreover, 16 S r RNA gene sequence analysis suggests that the An FBR harbored the potential dechlorinators(e.g., Anaeromyxobacter), phenoldegrading microbes(e.g., Comamonas and Syntrophobacter), and methanogens(e.g., Methanobacterium and Methanosaeta)after acclimation, which could cooperate effectively for 2-CP dechlorination and mineralization. Based on the identified intermediates, the possible mineralization pathway of 2-CP was proposed. 19Study of spatial distribution for the active ingredient in ibuprofen tablet based on near-infrared micro-imaging technology显示文摘The NIR micro-images of ibuprofen tablets were collected in this research.Compare correlation imaging and principal component analysis(PC A) with histogram were applied to acquire the spatial distribution of ibuprofen granule.The result indicated that a similar distribution trend can be acquired by both of the two methods mentioned above;the information of PC2 results from ibuprofen mainly since the correlation coefficient between PC2 loading vector and the NIR spectrum of ibuprofen is 0.9930.The result of PCA indicated that the information of PC2 results from ibuprofen mainly for both the low and the high content of ibuprofen in the tablets.The correlation coefficient between the data of the two PC2 loading vectors of the low and the high content of ibuprofen in the tablets is 0.9998,which indicates that the result of PCA is stable and reliable.Dong Wang Yun Sheng Ding Jin Li Cao Yue He Sheng Feng Ye Shun Geng Min 2011Chinese Chemical Letters2011,22,11:2
