1MICROSTRUCTURAL MODEL OF GATORIZED WASPALOY IN THE ISOTHERMAL FORGING PROCESS显示文摘A microstructural model, which was to predict the evolution of microstructure of Gatorized Waspeloy in the isothermal forcing process, was developed in terms of dynamic recrystallization and grain growth. Three steps of experiment were conducted during developing the model: (1) .Specimens were compressed in M FS testing machine; (2) Dynamic recrystallization and grain growth were discussed; (3) Dynamic recrys- tallization model and grain growth mode were set up. 2MICROSTRUCTURE AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF NOVEL 718 SUPERALLOY显示文摘Recently, a novel 718 superalloy with remarkable structural stability at 680℃ has been designed and fabricated by CISRI (Central Iron and Steel Research Institute) etc. Phase identification of novel 718 alloy under the above-mentioned heat-treatment condition was performed using optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Results show that the novel 718 alloy has outstanding structural stability at 680℃. The novel 718 alloy possess excellent structural stability and good mechanical properties, which is attributed to ?’-phase strengthening and also to the specific sandwich structure of the γ’ + γ’’ strengthening phase.J.H. 3The level of oncogene H-Ras correlates with tumorigenicity and malignancy显示文摘Normal bovine adrenocortical cells and some human fibroblasts can be transformed by SV40T and H-Ras in a Ras-dependent manner. We recently reported that high levels of Ras derived from 5' LTR of retrovirrus can induce highly malignant and fast growing tumors, while lower levels of Ras derived from internal ribosome entry site(IRES) promotes slower tumor growth and loss of malignancy. Ras derived from CMV promoters resulted in much lower Ras levels and loss of tumor malignancy and growth. Further studies showed that the tumors formed in the presence of lower levels of Ras and dominant negative P53(P53DD) had fewer apoptotic cells and grew faster than the tumors formed from cells with same level Ras and SV40T. Our studies suggest that low levels of Ras are insufficient to inhibit apoptosis induced by pRb inactivation. In contrast, high levels of Ras not only allow normal cells to exit senescence and form tumors, but also protect against pRb inhibition-induced cell apoptosis.Sun, B. C. Gao, Y. Deng, L. Li, G. Q. 4Particles in a circulation loop for solar energy capture and storage显示文摘This study defines and assesses the selection ciiteria for suitable particulate materials to be used in an upflow bubbling fluidized bed (UBFB) or dense up-flow powder circulation system for solar energy capture and storage. The main criteria identified are based on the thermophysical and thermomechanical properties, attrition behavior, and the considerations of health and environmental hazards of the candidate powders. Finally, a cost comparison and tentative ranking of the different can didate powders is presented in addition to a weighted scoring. Significant scoring differences can be observed between the various materials. 5EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH AND NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF LASER SHOCK FORMING OF TA2 TITANIUM SHEET显示文摘Laser shock forming (LSF) was a new technique realized by applying an impulsive pressure generated by laser-induced shock wave on the surface of metal sheet. LSF of metal sheet was investigated with experiments and numerical simulation. The basic theories were introduced; the surface quality and deformation of the processed titanium sample (TA2) were examined; ABAQUS was used to simulate LSF and the central displacement of the shocked region was measured and compared with the simulation. Overlapped LSF treatment was experimentally carried out to produce groove and simulation. The results showed that the surface quality and the microstructure with single laser pulse had no remarkable change, and ablation was observed on the surface of the sample with overlapped pulses. 6Template-free Fabrication and Luminescent Characterization of Highly Uniform and Monodisperse Y_2O_2S:Sm^(3+) Hollow Submicrospheres显示文摘Well dispersed and homogeneous Y2O2S:Sm3+ hollow submicrospheres were successfully achieved by a templatefree solvothermal method combining with a postcalcining process.The crystalstructure and particle morphology were investigated by the X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR) spectra,scanning and transmission electron microscopy(SEM and TEM),respectively.A possible growth mechanism was proposed to reveal the formation process.Luminescence properties of the Y2O2S:Sm3+ long-lasting phosphor were analyzed by measuring the excitation spectra,emission spectra,afterglow decay curve and thermoluminescence curve.The excitation spectra indicated that the phosphor could be excited effectively by the ultraviolet-light emitting diode(UV-LED) or blue LED,and the emission spectra showed that the phosphor could emit red light from 600 to 650 nm.S.Q. The results reveal that there are abrupt flow stress drops followed b steady state.The magnitude of the flow stress drop increases with strain rote and decreases with temperature.Deformation activation energy, Q, is 247. 5 KJ/mol.
