3Integrated Control of Agricultural Non-point Source Pollution to Provide Safe and Healthy Drinking Water for Rural Areas显示文摘Agricultural non-point source pollution has become the main part of water pollution prevention and control in China. This paper made a brief introduction to the causes and hazards of agricultural non-point source pollution and the current situation of agricultural non-point source pollution prevention and control in China. 4Prevalence and trends of aminoglycoside resistance in Shigella worldwide, 1999-2010显示文摘Shigellosis causes diarrheal disease in humans in both developed and developing countries, and multi-drug resistance in Shigella is an emerging problem. Understanding changing resistance patterns is important in determining appropriate antibiotic treatments. This meta-analysis systematically evaluated aminoglycoside resist-ance in Shigella. A systematic review was constructed based on MEDLINE and EMBASE databases. Randomeffect models or fixed-effect models were used based on P value considering the possibility of heterogeneity between studies for meta-analysis. Data manipulation and statistical analyses were performed using software STATA 11.0. By means of meta-analysis, we found a lower resistance to three kinds of aminoglycosides in the Europe-America areas during the 12 year study period than that of the Asia-Africa areas. Kanamycin resistance was observed to be the most common drug resistance among Shigella isolates with a prevalence of 6.88% (95%CI: 6.36%-7.43%). Comparison of data from Europe-America and Asia-Africa areas revealed that Shigella flexneri resistance was greater than the resistance calculated for Shigella sonnei. Importantly,Shigella sonnei has played a significant role in aminoglycoside-resistance in recent years. Similarly, data showed that resistance to these drugs in children was higher than the corresponding data of adults. In conclusion, aminoglycoside-resistant Shigella is not an unusual phenomenon worldwide. Distribution in Shigella resistance differs sharply based on geographic areas, periods of time and subtypes. 6Activation of calcium-sensing receptors is associated with apoptosis in a model of simulated cardiomyocytes ischemia/reperfusion显示文摘Objective:Calcium-sensing receptors(CaSRs)are G-protein coupled receptors which maintain systemic calcium homeostasis and participate in hormone secretion,activation of ion channels,cell apoptosis,proliferation,and differentiation.Previous studies have shown that CaSRs induce apoptosis in isolated adult rat heart and in normal neonatal rat cardiomyocytes by G-protein-PLC-IP 3 signaling transduction.However,little knowledge is presently available concerning the role of CaSRs in the apoptosis induced by ischemia and reperfusion in neonatal cardiomyocytes.Methods:Primary neonatal rat ventricular cardiomyocytes were incubated in ischemiamimetic solution for 2 h,and then re-incubated in normal culture medium for 24 h to establish a model of simu- lated ischemia/reperfusion(I/R).Cardiomyocyte apoptosis was detected by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL).The expression of CaSRs mRNA was detected by real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).In addition,the expressions of caspase-3 and Bcl-2 were analyzed by western blot.Results:The simulated I/R enhanced the expression of CaSRs and cardiomyocyte apopto- sis.GdCl 3 ,a specific activator of CaSRs,further increased the expression of CaSRs and cardiomyocyte apoptosis, along with up-regulation of caspase-3 and down-regulation of Bcl-2.Conclusion:CaSRs are associated with I/R injury and apoptosis in neonatal rat ventricular cardiomyocytes via suppressing Bcl-2 and promoting caspase-3 expression.Ling Yan Tlebing Zhu Tingting Sun Liansheng Wang Shiyang Pan Zhengxlan Tao Zhijian Yang Kejiang Cao 2010The Journal of Biomedical Research2010,24,4:2

8Class Ⅰ integron with a novel cassette array in an ESBL-producing multidrug-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae isolate显示文摘Objective: To analyze the molecular mechanism of integron mediated multi-resistance in an ESBL-producing K.pneumoniae NJ 12 isolate. Methods: Susceptibility test was carried out by Kirby-Bauer method. Class Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ integrons were detected by integrase gene PCR with primers that annealed to conserved regions of integron-encoded integrase genes intI1, intI2 and intI3. The variable region of integron was amplified by integron PCR with primers that targeted the conserved flanking regions, and the PCR product was sequenced. Six aminoglycoside modifying-enzyme genes, including ant(2″)-Ⅰ, ant(3″)-Ⅰ, aac(3)-Ⅰ, aac(3)-Ⅱ, aac(6′)-Ⅰ, and aac(6′)-Ⅱ, were detected. Results: K.pneumoniae NJ 12 was resistant to nine antibiotics, including piperacillin, ampicillin, cefuroxime, ceftazidime, cefotaxime, aztreonam, streptomycin, gentamicin and amikacin. This isolate was shown that there was positive with class Ⅰ integron, ant(2″)-Ⅰ, ant(3″)-Ⅰ, aac(3)-Ⅱ and aac(6′)-Ⅰ modifying-enzyme genes. Neither class Ⅱ nor Ⅲ integron was detected; DNA sequencing of the fragment amplified by integron PCR revealed a novel cassette array aadB-cat-bla_ oxa-10/ aadA1. 9Study on Extraction Method of Selenium-enriched Rice显示文摘[Objectives] The aims were to optimize the extraction process of selenoproteins from selenium-enriched rice in Guangxi and provide references for the intensive processing and comprehensive utilization of selenium protein resources. [Methods]Selenium-enriched rice was used as materials to extract selenoproteins by phosphate buffer extraction method and to optimize the extraction process of selenoproteins by using the orthogonal experiment. Proteins and selenium content was measured by Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 reagent and AFS( atomic fluorescence spectrometry) respectively. [Results] The most significant factor affecting extraction of rice Selenoproteins was extraction NaO H concentration,followed by the ratio of solid-liquid,temperature and then extraction time. The optimum extraction conditions of selenoproteins from rice were extraction temperature of 50 ℃,NaO H concentration of 0. 14 mol/L,extraction time of 5 h,and solid-liquid ratio of 1∶ 30. 13Transcriptome Responses of Hygromycin B Resistance Gene-Transformed, Hygromycin B-Adaptive and Wild Nannochloropsis oceanica Strains to Hygromycin B显示文摘In order to decipher the hygromycin B tolerance and resistance mechanisms of Nannochloropsis oceanica,the transcriptome profiles of a transgenic strain carrying a randomly integrated hygromycin B resistant gene,a hygromycin B-adaptive strain and a wild type strain of N.oceanica were compared by transcriptome sequencing(RNA-seq)without referring to a high quality genome sequence.The results showed that the adaptive strain adapts to the hygromycin B existing environments mainly by intensifying the expressions of the efflux pump ABC and MFS superfamily transporter genes,thus reducing the intracellular concentration of hygromycin B.The transgenic strain obtains the hygromycin B resistance ability solely by expressing exogenous resistance gene.Accordingly,the screening and maintenance of N.oceanica transformants should be carried out at an antibiotics concentration higher than the adaptive threshold.Our findings can help the genetic modification of N.oceanica with the application of hygromycin B.LIU Hang ZHANG Zhongyi LIANG Sijie GUO Li SUN Shiyang PAN Kehou YANG Guanpin 2020Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,2:0

15Determination of laser entrance hole size for ignition-scale octahedral spherical hohlraums显示文摘A recently proposed octahedral spherical hohlraum with six laser entrance holes(LEHs)is an attractive concept for an upgraded laser facility aiming at a predictable and reproducible fusion gain with a simple target design.However,with the laser energies available at present,LEH size can be a critical issue.Owing to the uncertainties in simulation results,the LEH size should be determined on the basis of experimental evidence.However,determination of LEH size of an ignition target at a small-scale laser facility poses difficulties.In this paper,we propose to use the prepulse of an ignition pulse to determine the LEH size for ignition-scale hohlraums via LEH closure behavior,and we present convincing evidence from multiple diagnostics at the SGIII facility with ignition-scale hohlraum,laser prepulse,and laser beam size.The LEH closure observed in our experiment is in agreement with data from the National Ignition Facility.The total LEH area of the octahedral hohlraum is found to be very close to that of a cylindrical hohlraum,thus successfully demonstrating the feasibility of the octahedral hohlraum in terms of laser energy,which is crucially important for sizing an ignition-scale octahedrally configured laser system.This work provides a novel way to determine the LEH size of an ignition target at a small-scale laser facility,and it can be applied to other hohlraum configurations for the indirect drive approach.Yao-Hua Chen Zhichao Li Hui Cao Kaiqiang Pan Sanwei Li Xufei Xie Bo Deng Qiangqiang Wang Zhurong Cao Lifei Hou Xingsen Che Pin Yang Yingjie Li Xiaoan He Tao Xu Yonggang Liu Yulong Li Xiangming Liu Haijun Zhang Wei Zhang Baibin Jiang Jun Xie Wei Zhou Xiaoxia Huang Wen Yi Huo Guoli Ren Kai Li Xudeng Hang Shu Li Chuanlei Zhai Jie Liu Shiyang Zou Yongkun Ding Ke Lan 2022Matter and Radiation at Extremes2022,7,6:0
