1Restoring the Treg cell to Th17 cell ratio may alleviate HBV-related acute-on-chronic liver failure显示文摘AIM: To investigate the role of T helper 17 cells (Th17) and regulatory T cells (Treg) in hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF).METHODS: We enrolled 79 patients with HBV infection into the study, 50 patients with HBV-related ACLF and 29 patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB), from the First Affiliated Hospital of Medical College from January 2009 to June 2012. The ACLF patients were diagnosed according to the criteria recommended by The 19th Conference of the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver in 2009. Twenty healthy individuals with a similar gender and age structures to the two patient groups were also included as the normal controls (NC). Of the 50 ACLF patients, 28 were subsequently classified as non-survivors: 19 patients died from multiorgan failure, 3 underwent liver transplantation, and 6 discontinued therapy during follow-up because of financial reasons. The remaining 22 ACLF patients whose liver and anticoagulation function recovered to nearly normal levels within the next 6 mo were classified as survivors. The number of circulating Treg and Th17 cells was determined upon diagnosis and during the 8th week of follow-up through flow cytometry. RESULTS: The percentage of circulating Treg cells in the ACLF group was significantly higher than that in the CHB group (5.50% ± 1.15% vs 3.30% ± 1.13%, P < 0.01). The percentages of circulating Th17 cells in the ACLF and the CHB groups were significantly higher than that in the NC group (6.32% ± 2.22% vs 1.56% ± 0.44%, P < 0.01; 3.53% ± 1.65% vs 1.56% ± 0.44%, P < 0.01). No significant difference in Treg cell to Th17 cell ratio was observed between the ACLF group and the CHB group (0.98 ± 0.44 vs 1.12 ± 0.64, P = 0.991), whereas those in the two HBV infection groups were significantly lower than that in the NC group (1.85 ± 1.22; both P < 0.01). The percentage of Treg cells in the survivors during the 8th week of follow-up was significantly lower than that during peak ACLF severity [total bilirubin (TBIL) peak] (3.45% ± 0.97% vs 5.18% ± 1.02%, P < 0.01). The percentage of Th17 cells in survivors during the 8th week of follow-up was significantly lower than that during the peak TBIL (2.89% ±0.60% vs 5.24% ± 1.46%; P < 0.01). The Treg cell to Th17 cell ratio during the 8 th week of follow-up was significantly higher than that during the TBIL peak (1.22 ± 0.36 vs 1.10 ± 0.54; P < 0.05). 2Ultrafast epitaxial growth of metre-sized single-crystal graphene on industrial Cu foil显示文摘A foundation of the modern technology that uses single-crystal silicon has been the growth of highquality single-crystal Si ingots with diameters up to 12 inches or larger. For many applications of graphene, large-area high-quality(ideally of single-crystal) material will be enabling. Since the first growth on copper foil a decade ago, inch-sized single-crystal graphene has been achieved. We present here the growth, in 20 min, of a graphene film of(5 ×50) cm^2 dimension with >99% ultra-highly oriented grains.This growth was achieved by:(1) synthesis of metre-sized single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) foil as substrate;(2)epitaxial growth of graphene islands on the Cu(1 1 1) surface;(3) seamless merging of such graphene islands into a graphene film with high single crystallinity and(4) the ultrafast growth of graphene film.These achievements were realized by a temperature-gradient-driven annealing technique to produce single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) from industrial polycrystalline Cu foil and the marvellous effects of a continuous oxygen supply from an adjacent oxide. The as-synthesized graphene film, with very few misoriented grains(if any), has a mobility up to ~23,000 cm^2 V^(-1)s^(-1)at 4 K and room temperature sheet resistance of ~230 Ω/□. 3Exotic origin of the Chinese continental shelf: new insights into the tectonic evolution of the western Pacific and eastern China since the Mesozoic显示文摘The effect of paleo-Pacific subduction on the geological evolution of the western Pacific and continental China is likely complex. Nevertheless, our analysis of the distribution of Mesozoic granitoids in the eastern continental China in space and time has led us to an interesting conclusion: The basement of the continental shelf beneath East and South China Seas may actually be of exotic origin geologically unrelated to the continental lithosphere of eastern China. By accepting the notion that the Jurassic–Cretaceous granitoids in the region are genetically associated with western Pacific subduction and the concept that subduction may cease to continue only if the trench is being jammed, then the termination of the granitoidmagmatism throughout the vast region at *88 ± 2 Ma manifests the likelihood of ‘‘sudden'', or shortly beforehand(*100 Ma), trench jam of the Mesozoic western Pacific subduction. Trench jam happens if the incoming‘‘plate'' or portion of the plate contains a sizeable mass that is too buoyant to subduct. The best candidate for such a buoyant and unsubductable mass is either an oceanic plateau or a micro-continent. We hypothesize that the basement of the Chinese continental shelf represents such an exotic, buoyant and unsubductable mass, rather than seaward extension of the continental lithosphere of eastern China. The locus of the jammed trench(i.e., the suture) is predictably located on the shelf in the vicinity of, and parallel to, the arc-curved coastal line of the southeast continental China. It is not straightforward to locate the locus in the northern section of the East China Sea shelf because of the more recent(\20 Ma) tectonic re-organization associated with the opening of the Sea of Japan. We predict that the trench jam at *100 Ma led to the re-orientation of the Pacific plate motion in the course of NNW direction as inferred from the age-progressive Emperor Seamount Chain of Hawaiian hotspot origin(its oldest unsubdued Meiji and Detroit seamounts are *82 Ma),making the boundary between the Pacific plate and the newly accreted plate of eastern Asia a transform fault at the location east of the continental shelf of exotic origin. This explains the apparent *40 Myr magmatic gap from *88to *50 Ma prior to present-day western Pacific subduction initiation. We propose that basement penetration drilling on well-chosen sites is needed to test the hypothesis in order to reveal the true nature of the Chinese continental shelf basement. This testing becomes critical and cannot longer be neglected in order to genuinely understand the tectonic evolution of the western Pacific and its effect on the geology of eastern China since the Mesozoic, includingthe cratonic lithosphere thinning, related magmatism/mineralization, and the mechanism of the subsequent South China Sea opening, while also offering novel perspectives on aspects of the plate tectonics theory. We also suggest the importance of future plate tectonic reconstruction of the western Pacific to consider the nature and histories of the Chinese continental shelf of exotic origin as well as the probable transform plate boundary from *100 to*50 Ma. 4Acacetin protects against cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury via the NLRP3 signaling pathway显示文摘Acacetin(5,7-dihydroxy-4′-methoxyflavone), a potential neuroprotective agent, has an inhibitory effect on lipopolysaccharide-induced neuroinflammatory reactions. However, whether acacetin has an effect on inflammatory corpuscle 3(NLRP3) after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury has not been fully determined. This study used an improved suture method to establish a cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury model in C57BL/6 mice. After ischemia with middle cerebral artery occlusion for 1 hour, reperfusion with intraperitoneal injection of 25 mg/kg of acacetin(acacetin group) or an equal volume of saline(0.1 mL/10 g, middle cerebral artery occlusion group) was used to investigate the effect of acacetin on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury. Infarct volume and neurological function scores were determined by 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining and the Zea-Longa scoring method. Compared with the middle cerebral artery occlusion group, neurological function scores and cerebral infarction volumes were significantly reduced in the acacetin group. To understand the effect of acacetin on microglia-mediated inflammatory response after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury, immunohistochemistry for the microglia marker calcium adapter protein ionized calcium-binding adaptor molecule 1(Iba1) was examined in the hippocampus of ischemic brain tissue. In addition, tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin-1β, and interleukin-6 expression in ischemic brain tissue of mice was quantified by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Expression of Iba1, tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin-1β and interleukin-6 was significantly lower in the acacetin group compared with the middle cerebral artery occlusion group. Western blot assay results showed that expression of Toll-like receptor 4, nuclear factor kappa B, NLRP3, procaspase-1, caspase-1, pro-interleukin-1β, and interleukin-1β were significantly lower in the acacetin group compared with the middle cerebral artery occlusion group. 5Comparison of Chlorophyll and Photosynthesis Parameters of Floating and Attached Ulva prolifera显示文摘In mid-May 2008 a serious green tide caused mainly by floating Ulva prolifera(Mller) J.Agardh(Chlorophyta,Ulvales) thalli struck the coastal area of Qingdao,China.To understand the present physiological conditions of the floating alga,in this work both laboratory and field investigations were conducted on the floating U.prolifera thalli in comparison with the attached U.prolifera thalli collected from the area.The floating thalli of three distinctively different colors and attached thalli at three different stages of sporangium formation process were characterized under a microscope,while their photosynthetic parameters were determined with chlorophyll fluorescence technology.On the other hand,the sporangium formation status of the floating U.prolifera thalli was surveyed both in the laboratory and in the field.Comparisons showed that both of the paired morphological characteristics and the paired physiological parameters of the floating and attached U.prolifera thalli were consistent.Furthermore,some spores were confirmed in the field and some motile particles were found within the floating thalli.These results suggest that the floating U.prolifera thalli with different colors could be at different stages of sporangium formation.However,our results also showed that the floating alga thalli have only a limited reproductive potential.This might limit the duration and the further geographic expansion of the green algal bloom.Apeng Lin Songdong Shen Guangce Wang Qianqian Yi Hongjin Qiao Jianfeng Niu Guanghua Pan 2011Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2011,53,1:20

8Threat Assessment Method Based on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Similarity Measurement Reasoning with Orientation显示文摘The aim of this paper is to propose a threat assessment method based on intuitionistic fuzzy measurement reasoning with orientaion to deal with the shortcomings of the method proposed in [Ying-Jie Lei et al., Journal of Electronics and Information Technology 29(9)(2007)2077-2081] and [Dong-Feng Chen et al., Procedia Engineering 29(5)(2012)3302-3306] the ignorance of the influence of the intuitionistic index's orientation on the membership functions in the reasoning, which caused partial information loss in reasoning process. Therefore, we present a 3D expression of intuitionistic fuzzy similarity measurement, make an analysis of the constraints for intuitionistic fuzzy similarity measurement, and redefine the intuitionistic fuzzy similarity measurement. Moreover, in view of the threat assessment problem, we give the system variables of attribute function and assessment index, set up the reasoning system based on intuitionistic fuzzy similarity measurement with orientation, and design the reasoning rules, reasoning algorithms and fuzzy-resolving algorithms. 10Punicalagin ameliorates collagen-induced arthritis by downregulating M1 macrophage and pyroptosis via NF-κB signaling pathway显示文摘Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a chronic inflammatory disease that eventually leads to disability.Inflammatory cell infiltration,severe joint breaking and systemic bone loss are the main clinical symptoms.In this study,we established a collagen-induced arthritis(CIA)model and found a large number of M1 macrophages and pyroptosis,which are important sources of proinflammatory cytokines.Punicalagin(PUN)is an active substance extracted from pomegranate peel.We found that it inhibited joint inflammation,cartilage damage and systemic bone destruction in CIA mice.PUN effectively alleviated the high expression of inflammatory cytokines in synovial tissue in vivo.PUN treatment shifted macrophages from the M1 phenotype to the M2 phenotype after stimulation with lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and interferon(IFN)-γ.The expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase(i NOS)and other proinflammatory cytokines released by M1 macrophages was decreased in the PUN treatment group.However,simultaneously,the expression of markers of anti-inflammatory M2 macrophages,such as arginase(Arg)-1 and interleukin(IL)-10,was increased.In addition,PUN treatment attenuated pyroptosis by downregulating the expression of NLRP3 and caspase-1,thereby preventing inflammatory cell death resulting from the release of IL-1βand IL-18.Mechanistically,PUN inhibited the activation of receptor activators of the nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)signaling pathway,which contributes to M1 polarization and pyroptosis of macrophages.We concluded that PUN ameliorated pathological inflammation by inhibiting M1 phenotype polarization and pyroptosis and has great potential as a therapeutic treatment for human RA.Gaoran Ge Jiaxiang Bai Qing Wang Xiaolong Liang Huaqiang Tao Hao Chen Minggang Wei Junjie Niu Huilin Yang Yaozeng Xu Yuefeng Hao Yi Xue Dechun Geng 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,3:14
11Transgenic rhesus monkeys carrying the human MCPH1 gene copies show human-like neoteny of brain development显示文摘Brain size and cognitive skills are the most dramatically changed traits in humans during evolution and yet the genetic mechanisms underlying these human-specific changes remain elusive.Here,we successfully generated 11 transgenic rhesus monkeys(8 first-generation and 3 second-generation)carrying human copies of MCPH1,an important gene for brain development and brain evolution.Brain-image and tissue-section analyses indicated an altered pattern of neural-cell differentiation,resulting in a delayed neuronal maturation and neural-fiber myelination of the transgenic monkeys,similar to the known evolutionary change of developmental delay(neoteny)in humans.Further brain-transcriptome and tissue-section analyses of major developmental stages showed a marked human-like expression delay of neuron differentiation and synaptic-signaling genes,providing a molecular explanation for the observed brain-developmental delay of the transgenic monkeys.More importantly,the transgenic monkeys exhibited better short-term memory and shorter reaction time compared with the wild-type controls in the delayed-matching-to-sample task.The presented data represent the first attempt to experimentally interrogate the genetic basis of human brain origin using a transgenic monkey model and it values the use of non-human primates in understanding unique human traits.Lei Shi Xin Luo Jin Jiang Yongchang chen Cirong Liu Ting Hu Min Li Qiang Lin Yanjiao Li Jun Huang Hong Wang Yuyu Niu Yundi Shi Martin Styner Jianhong Wang Yi Lu Xuejin Sun Hualin Yu Weizhi Ji Bing Su 2019National Science Review2019,6,3:12
12Bioactive biodegradable polycitrate nanoclusters enhances the myoblast differentiation and in vivo skeletal muscle regeneration via p38 MAPK signaling pathway显示文摘Complete skeletal muscle repair and regeneration due to severe large injury or disease is still a challenge.Biochemical cues are critical to control myoblast cell function and can be utilized to develop smart biomaterials for skeletal muscle engineering.Citric acid-based biodegradable polymers have received much attention on tissue engineering,however,their regulation on myoblast cell differentiation and mechanism was few investigated.Here,we find that citrate-based polycitrate-polyethylene glycol-polyethylenimine(POCG-PEI600)nanoclusters can significantly enhance the in vitro myoblast proliferation by probably reinforcing the mitochondrial number,promote the myotube formation and full-thickness skeletal muscle regeneration in vivo by activating the myogenic biomarker genes expression of Myod and Mhc.POCG-PEI600 nanoclusters could also promote the phosphorylation of p38 in MAP kinases(MAPK)signaling pathway,which led to the promotion of the myoblast differentiation.The in vivo skeletal muscle loss rat model also confirmed that POCG-PEI600 nanoclusters could significantly improve the angiogenesis,myofibers formation and complete skeletal muscle regeneration.POCG-PEI600 nanocluster could be also biodegraded into small molecules and eliminated in vivo,suggesting their high biocompatibility and biosafety.This study could provide a bioactive biomaterial-based strategy to repair and regenerate skeletal muscle tissue.Yi Guo Min Wang Juan Ge Wen Niu Mi Chen Wei Cheng Bo Lei 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,3:12

15Polymorphisms of MTHFD,plasma homocysteine levels, and risk of gastric cancer in ahigh-risk Chinese population显示文摘Purpose:Accumulative evidence suggests that folate has a protective effect on gastric cancer. The methylenetetrahyd-rofolate dlehydrogenase(MTHFD) plays an important role in folate and homocysteine metabolisms, and polymorphisms of MTHFD may result in disturbance of the folate-mediated homocysteine pathway. The aim of this study is to test the hypothesis that genetic variants of MTHFD and plasma homocysteine levels are associated with risk of gastric cancer and modulated by genotypes of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR). Experimental Design: We genotyped G1958A and T401C in MTHFD and C677T in MTHFR and detected total plasma homocysteine(tHcy) levels in a case-control study of 589 gastric cancer cases and 635 cancer-free controls in a high-risk Chinese population. Results:The variant genotypes of MTHFD 1958AA and 401CC were associated with a significantly increased risk of gastric canceradjusted odds ratio(OR), 2.05; 95% confidence interval(95% CI),1.34-3.13 for 1958AA; adjusted OR,1.43; 95% CI,1.14-1.80 for 401CC compared with 1958GG/GA and 401TT/TC genotypes, respectively. Both of the effects were more evident in the subjects carrying MTHFR 677CT/TT genotypes. The average tHcy level was significantly higher in gastric cancer cases than in controls(P < 0.01), and the upper quartile of tHcy (> 13.6 mu mol/L) was associated with an 82% significantly increased risk of gastric cancer, compared with the lowest quartile of tHcy(<= 8.0 pmol/L;adjusted OR,1.82; 95% CI,1.20-2.75). Conclusions:The strong associations between MTHFD variants and the plasma tHcy levels and gastric cancer risk suggest, for the first time, a possible gene-environment interaction between genetic variants of folate-metabolizing genes and high tHcy levels in gastric carcinogenesis.Wang, L. 16Essential roles of exosome and circRNA_101093 on ferroptosis desensitization in lung adenocarcinoma显示文摘Background:Resistance to ferroptosis,a regulated cell death caused by irondependent excessive accumulation of lipid peroxides,has recently been linked to lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD).Intracellular antioxidant systems are required for protection against ferroptosis.The purpose of the present studywas to investigate whether and how extracellular system desensitizes LUAD cells to ferroptosis.Methods:Established human lung fibroblasts MRC-5,WI38,and human LUAD H1650,PC9,H1975,H358,A549,and H1299 cell lines,tumor and matched normal adjacent tissues of LUAD,and plasma from healthy individuals and LUAD patients were used in this study.Immunohistochemistry and immunoblotting were used to analyze protein expression,and quantitative reverse transcription-PCR was used to analyze mRNA expression.Cell viability,cell death,and the lipid reactive oxygen species generationwere measured to evaluate the responses to ferroptosis.Exosomes were observed using transmission electron microscope.The localization of arachidonic acid(AA)was detected using click chemistry labeling followed by confocal microscopy.Interactions between RNAs and proteins were detected using RNA pull-down,RNA immunoprecipitation and photoactivatable ribonucleoside-enhanced crosslinking and immunoprecipitation methods.Proteomic analysis was used to investigate RNA-regulated proteins,and metabolomic analysis was performed to analyze metabolites.Cellderived xenograft,patient-derived xenograft,cell-implanted intrapulmonary LUAD mouse models and plasma/tissue specimens from LUAD patients were used to validate the molecular mechanism.Results:Plasma exosome from LUAD patients specifically reduced lipid peroxidation and desensitized LUAD cells to ferroptosis.A potential explanation is that exosomal circRNA_101093(cir93)maintained an elevation in intracellular cir93 in LUAD to modulate AA,a poly-unsaturated fatty acid critical for ferroptosisassociated increased peroxidation in the plasma membrane.Mechanistically,cir93 interacted with and increased fatty acid-binding protein 3(FABP3),which transported AA and facilitated its reaction with taurine.Thus,global AA was reduced,whereas N-arachidonoyl taurine(NAT,the product of AA and taurine)was induced.Notably,the role of NAT in suppressing AA incorporation into the plasma membrane was also revealed.In pre-clinical in vivo models,reducing exosome improved ferroptosis-based treatment.Conclusion:Exosome and cir93 are essential for desensitizing LUAD cells to ferroptosis,and blocking exosome may be helpful for future LUAD treatment.Xiao Zhang Yunhua Xu Lifang Ma Keke Yu Yongjie Niu Xin Xu Yi Shi Susu Guo Xiangfei Xue Yikun Wang Shiyu Qiu Jiangtao Cui Hong Wang Xiaoting Tian Yayou Miao Fanyu Meng Yongxia Qiao Yongchun Yu Jiayi Wang 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,4:10
17Radical treatment of stage Ⅳ pancreatic cancer by the combination of cryosurgery and iodine-125 seed implantation显示文摘AIM:To investigate the therapeutic effect of radical treatment and palliative treatment in stage Ⅳ pancreatic cancer patients.METHODS:81 patients were enrolled in the study.Radical treatment was performed on 51 patients,while 30 patients were put under palliative treatment.The procedural safety and interval survival for stage Ⅳ pancreatic cancer(IS-Ⅳ) was assessed by almost 2.5 years of follow-ups.The IS-Ⅳ of patients under the two kinds of treatment,and the effects of treatment timing and frequency on IS-Ⅳ,were compared.RESULTS:The IS-Ⅳ of patients who received radical treatment was significantly longer than those who received palliative treatment(P < 0.001).The IS-Ⅳ of patients who received delayed radical or palliative treatment was longer than those who received accordingly timely treatment(P = 0.0034 and 0.0415,respectively).Multiple treatments can play an important role in improving the IS-Ⅳ of patients who received radical treatment(P = 0.0389),but not for those who received palliative treatment(P = 0.99).CONCLUSION:The effect of radical treatment was significantly more obvious than that of palliative treatment,and multiple radical treatments may contribute more to patients than a single radical treatment.Ji-Bing Chen Jia-Liang Li Li-Hua He Wei-Qun Liu Fei Yao Jian-Ying Zeng Yi Zhang Ke-Qiang Xu Li-Zhi Niu Jian-Sheng Zuo Ke-Cheng Xu 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,47:10
18Crosstalk between the Akt/mTORC1 and NF-kB signaling pathways promotes hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension by increasing DPP4 expression in PASMCs显示文摘Abnormal wound healing by pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells(PASMCs)promotes vascular remodeling in hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension(HPH).Increasing evidence shows that both the mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1(mTORCI)and nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-kB)are Involved in the development of HPH.In this study,we explored the crosstalk between mTORCI and NF-kB in PASMCs cultured under hypoxic condition and in a rat model of hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension(HPH).We showed that hypoxia promoted wound healing of PASMCs,which was dose-dependently blocked by the mTORCI inhibitor rapamycin(5-20 nM).In PASMCs,hypoxia activated mTORCI,which in turn promoted the phosphorylation of NF-k B.Molecular docking revealed that mTOR interacted with IkB kinases(IKKs)and that was validated by immunoprecipitation.In vitro kinase assays and mass spectrometry demonstrated that mTOR phosphorylated IKKa and IKKp separately.Inhibition of mTORCI decreased the level of phosphorylated IKKa/p,thus reducing the phosphorylation and transcriptional activity of NF-kB.Bioinformatics study revealed that dipeptidyl peptidase-4(DPP4)was a target gene of NF-kB;DPP4 inhibitor,sitagliptin(10-500 pM)effectively inhibited the abnormal wound healing of PASMCs under hypoxic condition.In the rat model of HPH,we showed that NF-kB activation(at 3 weeks)was preceded by mTOR signaling activation(after 1 or 2 weeks)in lungs,and administration of sitagliptin(1-5 mg/kg every day,ig)produced preventive effects against the development of HPH.In conclusion,hypoxia activates the crosstalk between mTORCI and NF-kB,and increased DPP4 expression in PASMCs that leads to vascular remodeling.Sitagliptin,a DPP4 inhibitor,exerts preventive effect against HPH.Ying Li Li Yang Liang Dong Zhi-wei Yang Jing Zhang Sheng-li Zhang Meng-jie Niu Jing-wen Xia Yi Gong Ning Zhu Xiu-juan Zhang Yuan-yuan Zhang Xiao-min Wei You-zhi Zhang Peng Zhang Sheng-qing Li 2019Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2019,40,10:10
19Experimental investigation of boundary layer transition over a delta wing at Mach number 6显示文摘An experimental study on the boundary layer transition over a delta wing was carried out at Mach number 6 in a quiet wind tunnel.The Nano-tracer-based Planar Laser Scattering(NPLS)and Temperature-Sensitive Paints(TSP)techniques were used to measure the fine flow field structure and the wall Stanton number of the delta wing.The influence of factors such as the angle of attack and the Reynolds number was studied.The following results were obtained.The boundary layer transition between the leading edge and the centerline was dominated by the crossflow instability.At the location of the initial appearance of the traveling crossflow waves,the Stanton number began to rise.The Stanton number reached a maximum when the crossflow waves were broken up to turbulence.Increasing the angle of attack increased the spanwise pressure gradient at the windward side of the delta wing,thereby increasing the crossflow instability and advancing the boundary layer transition front.However,increasing the angle of attack caused the transition front to move backward at the leeward side.In addition,the sensitivity of the boundary layer transition to the Reynolds number varied with the angle of attack and the region.Haibo NIU Shihe YI Xiaolin LIU Xiaoge LU Dundian GANG 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,7:9
