1德国南部落叶阔叶林下常见植物的光适应性研究——以德国Kraichtal地区落叶阔叶林为例显示文摘通过在 13个样地中测定林下相对照度和多个植物物种的盖度指标 ,建立了林下相对照度与林下植物盖度变化的相关关系 ,对德国南部落叶阔叶林下 12种植物的光适应性进行了分析。结合植物的生态因子指示值和种在群落中的恒有度等生态指标 ,探讨了林下植物群落地位的形成原因。结果表明 :1)在散射光条件下进行森林群落中的光照分布特征测定 ,能够降低光斑造成的干扰 ,获得相对稳定的光分布 ;2 )在被研究的 12个物种中 ,有 9种植物在林下的分布与光照条件相关显著 ,其中 7种植物的盖度与相对照度之间具有正相关关系 ,2种植物具有负相关关系。其余 3种植物的盖度与相对照度之间无显著的线性相关 ;3)与光指示值相比 ,盖度与照度之间关系的定量分析能够更清楚地反映林下植物的光适应性 ,揭示植物的光生态幅特征 ;4)光适应性直接影响着林下植物的种间关系 ,也影响着物种的群落地位和作用。光生态幅广的植物 ,在群落中具有较强的适应能力 ,因此能够在多种群落类型中出现 ,表现出较高的恒有度值。江源 Manfred MEURER 2001Acta Botanica Sinica2001,43,9:11
2Scintrex CG5 used for superconducting gravimeter calibration显示文摘The scale factor accuracy of superconducting gravimeters(SG) can be largely improved by a high repetition rate of calibration experiments.At stations where the availability of absolute gravimeters is limited, carefully calibrated spring gravimeters can be used for providing the reference signal assuming the irregular drift is properly adjusted. The temporal stability of the SG scale factor is assessable by comparing the temporal variations of M2 tidal parameters observed at neighboring SG sites or from synthetic tide models. Combining these methods reduces the SG scale factor error to a few 0.1‰. The paper addresses the particular procedure required for evaluating the calibration experiments based on spring gravimeters and presents results obtained at Conrad observatory(Austria). 4Intravenous vs intraperitoneal mesenchymal stem cells administration:What is the best route for treating experimental colitis?显示文摘AIM:To investigate the therapeutic effects of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)transplanted intraperitoneally andintravenously in a murine model of colitis.METHODS:MSCs were isolated from C57BL/6 mouse adipose tissue.MSC cultures were analyzed according to morphology,cellular differentiation potential,and surface molecular markers.Experimental acute colitis was induced in C57BL/6 mice by oral administration of2%dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)in drinking water ad libitum from days 0 to 7.Colitis mice were treated with1×106 MSCs via intraperitoneal or intravenous injection on days 2 and 5.The disease activity index was determined daily based on the following parameters:weight loss,stool consistency and presence of blood in the feces and anus.To compare morphological and functional differences in tissue regeneration between different MSC injection modalities,mice were euthanized on day 8,and their colons were examined for length,weight,and histopathological changes.Inflammatory responses were determined by measuring the levels of different serum cytokines using a CBA Th1/Th2/Th17 kit.Apoptotic rates were evaluated by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated d UDPbiotin nick end labeling assay.RESULTS:Intravenous infusion of MSCs was more effective than intraperitoneal treatment(P<0.001)in reducing the clinical and histopathologic severity of colitis,which includes weight loss,diarrhea and inflammation.An histological evaluation demonstrated decreased colonic inflammation based on reduced crypt loss and reduced infiltration of inflammatory cells.This therapeutic effect was most likely mediated by the down-regulation of pro-inflammatory cytokines[interleukin(IL)-6 and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)];and by the up-regulation of anti-inflammatory cytokines(IL-10 and IL-4).Intravenous transplantation alsoinduced high levels of IFN that lead to activation of the immunosuppressive activity of the MSCs,which did not occur with intraperitoneal transplantation(P=0.006).An increase in apoptotic T cells was observed after intravenous,but not intraperitoneal,MSC infusion,suggesting that MSCs can induce apoptosis in resistant T cells in colonic inflammation(P=0.027).CONCLUSION:Our results demonstrate that intravenous treatment is a superior method for reducing colon inflammation compared with intraperitoneal therapy.Fabiany da Costa Goncalves Natália Schneider Fernanda Otesbelgue Pinto Fabíola Schons Meyer Fernanda Visioli Bianca Pfaffenseller Patrícia Luciana da Costa Lopez Eduardo Pandolfi Passos Elizabeth Obino Cirne-Lima Luíse Meurer Ana Helena Paz 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,48:4
5Endoglin in liver fibrogenesis: Bridging basic science and clinical practice显示文摘Endoglin, also known as cluster of differentiation CD105, was originally identified 25 years ago as a novel marker of endothelial cells. Later it was shown that endoglin is also expressed in pro-fibrogenic cells including mesangial cells, cardiac and scleroderma fibroblasts, and hepatic stellate cells. It is an integral membranebound disulfide-linked 180 kDa homodimeric receptor that acts as a transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β) auxiliary co-receptor. In humans, several hundreds of mutations of the endoglin gene are known that give rise to an autosomal dominant bleeding disorder that is characterized by localized angiodysplasia and arteriovenous malformation. This disease is termed hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia type Ⅰ and induces various vascular lesions, mainly on the face, lips, hands and gastrointestinal mucosa. Two variants of endoglin(i.e., S- and L-endoglin) are formed by alternative splicing that distinguishes from each other in the length of their cytoplasmic tails. Moreover, a soluble form of endoglin, i.e.,sol-Eng, is shedded by the matrix metalloprotease-14 that cleaves within the extracellular juxtamembrane region. Endoglin interacts with the TGF-β signaling receptors and influences Smad-dependent and-independent effects. Recent work has demonstrated that endoglin is a crucial mediator during liver fibrogenesis that critically controls the activity of the different Smad branches.
