| 1 | A Study on Solid/Melt Interfaces and the Formation of<100> Texture in Solidified FCC Metals显示文摘The (100) texture of solidified fcc metals, caused by the preferential (100) dendrite growth, could be closeIy related to solid/melt interfaces which behave differently along different crystallographic orientation. The stability and roughness of {111} and {100} solid/melt interfaces of fcc metals were investigated using a modified Temkin multi-layer model. It is demonstrated that {100}crystal/melt interface is more unstable and rougher than {111} interface. | 3 | 影响糖尿病患者心血管危险因素集簇现象的因素显示文摘目的 分析影响糖尿病患者多种心血管危险因素集簇现象的因素。方法 调查 6 54例糖尿病患者并发症情况和血糖、胰岛素、HbA1c、胆固醇、甘油三酯、LDL 胆固醇、HDL 胆固醇、体重指数、腰围、臀围以及腰臀围比值等因素 ,采用HOMA公式计算出胰岛素抵抗指数。按照并存心血管危险因素 (高血压、全身性肥胖、中心性肥胖、高胆固醇血症、低HDL 胆固醇血症 )数量 ,进行分析。结果 并有 3种以上的心血管危险因素明显地高于随机的单一因素并存的计算预测值 ,餐后胰岛素水平和胰岛素面积随危险因素的增加而增加。采用有性别差异的全身性肥胖和中心性肥胖的诊断标准 ,女性糖尿病患者有更多的心血管危险因素。如果采用男女性别相同的诊断标准 ,这种并存多种心血管危险因素的性别差异则消失。多数患者的这些危险因素未得到良好的控制。结论 糖尿病多种心血管危险因素集簇是常见的 。 | 许樟荣 Lynda Molyneaux 敬华 王玉珍 刘彦君 Marg RN McGill 黄列军 Dennis Yue | 2001 | 中华内分泌代谢杂志2001，17，5： | 8 |
| 4 | Thermodynamics calculation on the oxidation and sulfur removal abilities of slag in EAF dust pellet reduction process显示文摘The valuable metals in the dust can be recycled by mixing it with reducing agent carbon and lignosulfonate as the binder to make pellets, then returning the pellets to electric arc furnace (EAF) and adding ferro silicon. Part of valuable metals in the dust is reduced by carbon and part of them reduced by ferro silicon for the economical consideration. The reduced metals get into the steel in the stainless steel or special steel production. But the sulfur in the lignosulfonate may affect the quality of produced steel, which is dependent on the status of the smelting slag. The experiments were conducted in the way of changing the ratio of start iron, pellets, ferro silicon and lime. The content of the slag was checked by XRF for the calculation thermodynamics study. The active concentrations of materials in the slag, the slag abilities of oxidation and sulfur removal in EAF dust reduction process were determined by thermodynamics calculation study on CaO MgO FeO Fe 2O 3 SiO 2 S slag at 1 550 ℃. The oxidation ability of slag can be expressed as N (FetO)= N (FeO)+6 N (Fe 2O 3)+8 N (Fe 3O 4). The sulfur removal ability is dependent on the amount of added ferro silicon and the basicity of the slag. The challenge is to identify the most promising compounds and evaluate their protective mechanism. In a recently published article, Wang et al evaluated extracts of the plant Gentiana manshurica Kitagawa (GM) in a model of acetaminophen hepatotoxicity. The authors concluded that GM is hepatoprotective against acetaminopheninduced liver injury due to its antioxidant properties and anti-apoptotic capacity. | 8 | Radon bearing water protection in underground uranium mining--A case study显示文摘High pressure, radon bearing water has been identified as one of the most critical challenges in mining the high-grade uranium deposit at the Mc Arthur River Operation, Cameco Corporation. The ore deposits are located between 490 and 640 m below the surface and surrounded by water bearing Athabasca sandstone, a graphitic P2 fault zone, and highly altered ground. This paper introduces the inflow risk management program at Mc Arthur River Operation, which includes various hydrogeological challenges and the corresponding strategies applied, such as risk-based probe and grout programs(geological, hydrogeological, and geotechnical), ground freezing programs, and comprehensive ground control programs. These programs have been developed, tested, and proven successful over years of mining practices. | 14 | The evolution and morphological stability of a spherical crystal显示文摘The growth model of a spherical crystal in the undercooled melt including the sur- face energy, interfacial kinetics and convective flow is established. The effect of the convective flow induced by a small far field flow on the evolution and morphologi- cal stability of the interface of the spherical crystal is studied. The interface shape of the spherical crystal, which is affected by the far field flow, and the dispersion relation of the growth rate of amplitude of the perturbed interface are derived. It is shown that the convection induced by the far field flow makes the interface of the growing spherical crystal further grow in the upstream direction of the far field flow and inhibit growth in the downstream direction; the interface of the decaying spherical crystal further decays in the upstream direction and inhibits decay in the downstream direction. The theoretical result suggests that both the growth of the sphere in the upstream direction and the decay of the sphere in the downstream direction make the spherical crystal tend to evolve into an oval; the morphological stability of the interface depends on a certain radius Rc such that the spherical crystal is unstable when its radius is greater than Rc and stable when its radius is less than Rc. The surface energy and interfacial kinetics have strong stabilizing effects on the growth of the spherical crystal.
