| 2 | A zenith tropospheric delay correction model based on the regional CORS network显示文摘Tropospheric delay is a primary error source in earth observations and a variety of radio navigation technologies. In this paper, the relationship between zenith tropospheric delays and the elevation and longitude of stations is analyzed using the zenith tropospheric delay final products of International GNSS Service (IGS) stations from 2011. Two new models are proposed for estimating zenith tropospheric delays from regional CORS data without meteorological data. The proposed models are compared with the direct interpolation method and the remove-restore method using data from Guangxi CORS. The results show that the new models significantly improve the calculated precision. | 3 | MORAL HAZARD STRATEGY AND QUALITY CONTRACT DESIGN IN A TWO-ECHELON SUPPLY CHAIN显示文摘Based on game theory and principal-agent theory,this paper focuses on how to control product quality and design quality contract in supply chain when moral hazard exists.We set up the supplier and buyer's expected profits function model,in which the supplier makes production process investment-level decision and decides on the product quality prevention level,whereas the buyer makes quality evaluation decision and decides on the product quality inspection level.The supplier with a moral hazard of reducing investment level may lack investment in the production process;thus,the buyer will pay the information rent to incentivize the supplier to improve the investment level.The buyer creates the moral hazard of exaggerating the product quality defective rate,who may overinvest in the inspection process.We use the optimal condition to solve supplier's first-best investment level,product quality prevention level,and buyer's first-best quality inspection level,internal penalty,and apportionment ratio of external failure cost.We also conduct a simulation test that shows the following:When the supplier improves its investment level,its product quality prevention level will increase,and the buyer's quality inspection level will decrease.With the improvement in the buyer's product quality inspection level,its internal penalty will increase,and the supplier's external failure cost will also increase while its expected profits will decrease.Hence,the buyer will design an incentive contract,the expected profits of which will increase,and the whole supply chain's joint expected profits function may become an inverse U shape.Finally,we develop a simulation example and propose suggestions for quality control strategy and contract design in the supply chain under the conditions of asymmetric information. | Lilong ZHU Jianxin YOU | 2011 | Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2011,20,1: | 10 |
| 4 | Establishing a human pancreatic stem cell line and transplanting induced pancreatic islets to reverse experimental diabetes in rats显示文摘The major obstacle in using pancreatic islet transplantation to cure type I and some type II diabetes is the shortage of the donors. One of ways to overcome such obstacle is to isolate and clone pancreatic stem cells as 'seed cells' and induce their differentiation into functional islets as an abundant trans-plantation source. In this study, a monoclonal human pancreatic stem cell (mhPSC) line was obtained from abortive fetal pancreatic tissues. Pancreatic tissues were taken from abortive fetus by sterile procedures, and digested into single cells and cell clusters with 0.1% type IV collagenase. Cultured in modified glucose-low DMEM with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS), these single cells and cell clusters adhered to culture dishes, and then primary epidermal-like pancreatic stem cells started to clone. After digesting with 0.25% trypsin and 0.04% EDTA, fibroblasts and other cells were gradually eliminated and epithelioid pancreatic stem cells were gradually purified during generations. Using clone-ring selection, the mhPSCs were obtained. After addition of 10 ng/mL epidermal growth factor (EGF) in cell culture medium, the mhPSCs quickly grew and formed a gravelstone-like monolayer. Continuously proliferated, a mhPSC line, which was derived from a male abortive fetus of 4 months old, has been passed through 50 generations. More than 1×109 mhPSCs were cryo-preserved in liquid nitrogen. Karyotype analysis showed that the chromosome set of the mhPSC line was normal diploid. Immunocytochemistry results demonstrated that the mhPSC line was positive for the pdx1, glucagon, nestin and CK19, and negative for the insulin, CD34, CD44 and CD45 protein expression. RT-PCR revealed further that the mhPSCs expressed transcription factors of the pdx1, glucagon, nestin and CK19. Also, in vitro induced with β-mercaptoethanol, the mhPSCs differentiated into nerve cells that expressed the NF protein. Induced with nicotinamide, the mhPSCs differentiated into functional islet-like clusters, as identified by di-thizone staining, which expressed the transcription factor of the insulin and secreted the insulin and C-peptide. | 5 | Study of the tolerance of Hippochaete ramosissimum to Cu stress显示文摘We investigated the tolerance of Hippochaete ramosissimum and the changes in physiological metabolism following exposure to copper using pot experiments and analyzing plant physiology and biochemistry. The results showed that Cu tolerance in Hippochaete ramosissimum varied significantly between different populations; the tolerance of plants living in Cu polluted areas for extended periods of time exceeded that of plants living in unpolluted areas.SOD and POD activities in highly Cu tolerant plants increased noticeably following exposure to Cu. This indicates that maintaining and increasing the two kinds of protective enzyme activities are the primary foundations of plant tolerance. However, no change in CAT activity was demonstrated following Cu exposure. | 6 | Spatiotemporal characteristics of GNSS-derived precipitable water vapor during heavy rainfall events in Guilin,China显示文摘Precipitable Water Vapor(PWV),as an important indicator of atmospheric water vapor,can be derived from Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)observations with the advantages of high precision and all-weather capacity.GNSS-derived PWV with a high spatiotemporal resolution has become an important source of observations in mete-orology,particularly for severe weather conditions,for water vapor is not well sampled in the current meteorological observing systems.In this study,an empirical atmospheric weighted mean temperature(Tm)model for Guilin is estab-lished using the radiosonde data from 2012 to 2017.Then,the observations at 11 GNSS stations in Guilin are used to investigate the spatiotemporal features of GNSS-derived PWV under the heavy rainfalls from June to July 2017.The results show that the new Tm model in Guilin has better performance with the mean bias and Root Mean Square(RMS)of−0.51 and 2.12 K,respectively,compared with other widely used models.Moreover,the GNSS PWV estimates are validated with the data at Guilin radiosonde station.Good agreements are found between GNSS-derived PWV and radiosonde-derived PWV with the mean bias and RMS of−0.9 and 3.53 mm,respectively.Finally,an investigation on the spatiotemporal characteristics of GNSS PWV during heavy rainfalls in Guilin is performed.It is shown that variations of PWV retrieved from GNSS have a direct relationship with the in situ rainfall measurements,and the PWV increases sharply before the arrival of a heavy rainfall and decreases to a stable state after the cease of the rainfall.It also reveals the moisture variation in several regions of Guilin during a heavy rainfall,which is significant for the moni-toring of rainfalls and weather forecast. | Liangke Huang Zhixiang Mo Shaofeng Xie Lilong Liu Chuanli Kang Shitai Wang | 2021 | Satellite Navigation2021,2,1: | 6 |
| 7 | Empirical T_m modeling in the region of Guangxi显示文摘This paper presents three strategies for modeling the regional empirical T_m (the weighted mean temperature of the atmosphere) to obtain more accurate determinations in a regional empirical model that is better adapted to the geographical and climatic characteristics of the applied area. The proposed models utilize data from four radiosonde stations in Guangxi, at Nanning, Guilin, Wuzhou and Baise, over an 11 month period (from Jan. to Nov. of 2011). | 8 | Application of the Material Balance Method in Paleoelevation Recovery: A Case Study of the Longmen Mountains Foreland Basin on the Eastern Margin of the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘We applied the material balance principle of the denudation volume and sedimentary flux to study the denudation-accumulation system between the Longmen Mountains(Mts.) and the foreland basin. The amount of sediment in each sedimentation stage of the basin was estimated to obtain the denudation volume,erosion thickness and deposit thickness since the Late Triassic Epoch,to enable us to recover the paleoelevation of the provenance and the sedimentary area. The results show the following:(1) Since the Late Triassic Epoch,the elevation of the surface of the Longmen Mts. has uplifted from 0 m to 2751 m,and the crust of the Longmen Mts. has uplifted by 9.8 km. Approximately 72% of the materials introduced have been denuded from the mountains.(2) It is difficult to recover the paleoelevation of each stage of the Longmen Mts. foreland basin quantitatively by the present-day techniques and data.(3) The formation of the Longmen Mts. foreland basin consisted of three stages of thrust belt tectonic load and three stages of thrust belt erosional unload. During tectonic loading stages(Late Triassic Epoch,Late Jurassic–Early Cretaceous,Late Cretaceous–Miocene),the average elevation of Longmen Mts. was lower(approximately 700–1700 m). | 12 | Triggering in-plane defect cluster on MoS_(2) for accelerated dinitrogen electroreduction to ammonia显示文摘Electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (eNRR) is an alternative promising manner for sustainable N2 fixation with low-emission. The major challenge for developing an efficient electrocatalyst is the cleaving of the stable Ntriple bondN triple bonds. Herein, we design a new MoS_(2) with in-plane defect cluster through a bottom-up approach for the first time, where the defect cluster is composed of three adjacent S vacancies. The well-defined in-plane defect clusters could contribute to the strong chemical adsorption and activation towards inert nitrogen, achieving an excellent eNRR performance with an ammonia yield rate of 43.4 ± 3 μg h^(−1) mgcat.^(−1) and a Faradaic efficiency of 16.8 ± 2% at −0.3 V (vs. RHE). The performance is much higher than that of MoS_(2) with the edge defect. Isotopic labeling confirms that N atoms of produced NH4+ originate from N2. Furthermore, the in-plane defect clusters realized the alternate hydrogenation of nitrogen in a side-on way to synthesize ammonia. The as-obtained oxides and catalysts were characterized by XRD,TEM, TPD, TPR and XPS to understand their catalytic performances in ammonia synthesis. The H_2-TPR and HRTEM studies reveal that Ru/Y-LDO catalyst possesses more active Ru metal and small particle size.The XPS demonstrates that the electronic interaction between Y and Ru metals is stronger, which can be tentatively explained by most of Y inserted into the hydrotalcites structure. CO_2-TPD demonstrates that Ru/Y-LDO catalyst shows stronger basic site densities than catalysts doped with Ce and La. | 14 | Multi-Model Ensemble Projection of Precipitation Changes over China under Global Warming of 1.5 and 2℃ with Consideration of Model Performance and Independence显示文摘A weighting scheme jointly considering model performance and independence(PI-based weighting scheme) is employed to deal with multi-model ensemble prediction of precipitation over China from 17 global climate models. Four precipitation metrics on mean and extremes are used to evaluate the model performance and independence. The PIbased scheme is also compared with a rank-based weighting scheme and the simple arithmetic mean(AM) scheme. It is shown that the PI-based scheme achieves notable improvements in western China, with biases decreasing for all parameters. However, improvements are small and almost insignificant in eastern China. After calibration and validation, the scheme is used for future precipitation projection under the 1.5 and 2℃ global warming targets(above preindustrial level). There is a general tendency to wetness for most regions in China, especially in terms of extreme precipitation. The PI scheme shows larger inhomogeneity in spatial distribution. For the total precipitation PRCPTOT(95 th percentile extreme precipitation R95 P), the land fraction for a change larger than 10%(20%) is 22.8%(53.4%)in PI, while 13.3%(36.8%) in AM, under 2℃ global warming. | 17 | Improving the ammonia synthesis activity of Ru/CeO_(2) through enhancement of the metal–support interaction显示文摘The metal–support interactions induced by high-temperature hydrogen reduction have a strong influence on the catalytic performance of ceria-supported Ru catalysts. However, the appearance of the strong metal–support interaction leads to covering of the Ru species by Ce suboxides, which is detrimental to the ammonia synthesis reaction that requires metallic species as active sites. In the present work, the interaction between Ru and ceria in the Ru/CeO_(2) catalyst was induced by NaBH_(4) treatment. NaBH_(4) treatment enhanced the fraction of metallic Ru, proportion of Ce^(3+), content of exposed Ru species, and amount of surface oxygen species. As a result, a larger amount of hydrogen species would desorb by the H_(2)-formation pathway and the strength of hydrogen adsorption would be weaker, weakening the inhibition effect of the hydrogen species on ammonia synthesis. In addition, the strong electronic metal–support interaction aids in nitrogen dissociation. | 19 | Differential efficiency of a begomovirus to cross the midgut of different species of whiteflies results in variation of virus transmission by the vectors显示文摘Begomoviruses are important crop viral disease agents, and they are transmitted by whiteflies of the Bemisia tabaci complex.Although the transmission of begomoviruses by whiteflies has been studied for many years, the mechanisms governing differential transmission of begomoviruses by different species of the Bemisia tabaci complex remain largely unknown. Here we firstly compared the transmission efficiency of tobacco curly shoot virus(TbCSV) by four species of the B. tabaci complex and found that Asia II 1 transmitted this virus with the highest efficiency, whereas MEAM1 transmitted it with the lowest. Next, by performing quantitative analysis of virus and immune-fluorescence detection, we found that the efficiency of TbCSV to cross the midgut wall was higher in Asia II 1 than in MEAM1. Finally, we set the quantities of virions in the haemolymph to the same level in Asia II 1 and MEAM1 via injection and then compared their capacity in TbCSV transmission, and found that the difference in TbCSV transmission between them became smaller. | 20 | Process Modeling and Control Simulation for a 500W@4.5K Helium Refrigerator显示文摘In order to investigate dynamic behaviors of a 500W@ 4.5K helium refrigerator,the process simulator has been completed. The cryogenic process model is described and main components are customized. The realtime communication between the process model and the control system has been achieved. Compared with the preliminary experimental data,the errors of temperatures during the process of 300 K-80 K are less than 10%.The process model is validated to predict the cool-down process very well. The controller parameters are tuned in simulation and applied to the actual refrigerator suitably. Based on the dynamic simulation,the operation of Joule-Thomson( JT) by pass valve has been optimized. And the cool- down process from 300 K to 4. 5 K has been simulated under the control programs.
