| 11 | Dynamic Characteristics of the Jet Force on the Flapper of the Pilot Stage in a Flapper Nozzle Servo Valve Under the Flow-Solid Interaction显示文摘Nowadays,more and more attention has been paid to improve the performance of the nozzle flapper servo valve.As a core part of nozzle flapper servo valve,the armature assembly is affected by electromagnetic force,jet force and feedback force at the same time.Due to the complex structure of the pilot stage flow field and the high jet pressure,the prediction of the jet force has always been difficult in modeling the transient motion of the servo valve.Whereupon,a numerical simulation method based on the flow-solid interaction(FSI)is applied to observe the variation of the jet force when the flapper is moving.Different parameters are employed to seek a suitable numerical simulation model which can balance the accuracy and computational cost.By comparing with the experiment results,the effectiveness of numerical simulation method in predicting the variation of the jet force and cavitation is verified.By this numerical simulation model,the distribution of flow field and the force on the flapper predicted by the moving and fixed flapper are compared.The results show that more dynamic details are achieved by the transient simulation.By analyzing the numerical simulation results of different inlet pressures and flapper vibration frequencies,the relationship between the movement of the flapper,the flow field distribution,the jet force and the inlet pressure is established,which provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent modeling of the armature assembly. | Xinbei Lü Jinghui Peng Songjing Li | 2020 | Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2020,29,4: | 0 |
| 12 | Improved data gap-filling schemes for estimation of net ecosystem exchange in typical East-Asian croplands显示文摘The estimation of carbon exchange between ecosystems and the atmosphere suffers unavoidable data gaps in eddy-covariance technique, especially for short-living and fast-growing croplands. In this study we developed a modified gap-filling scheme introducing a leaf area index factor as the vegetation status information based on the conventional light response function for two East-Asian cropland sites (rice and potatoes). This scheme’s performance is comparable to the conventional time window scheme, but has the advantage when the gaps are large compared to the total length of the time series. To investigate how the time binning approach performs for fast-growing croplands, we tested different widths of the time window, showing that a four-day window for the potato field and an eight-day time window for the rice field perform the best. The insufficiency of the conventional temperature binning approach was explained as well as the influence of vapor pressure deficit. We found that vapor pressure deficit plays a minor role in both the potato and the rice fields under Asian monsoon weather conditions with the exception of the early pre-monsoon growing stage of the potatoes. | 13 | Soft Soil Site Characterization on the Coast of Yantai and Its Effect on Ground Motion Parameters显示文摘According to the Chinese GB50011-2001 code and the recommended provisions of FEMA-NEHRP and EUROCODE 8, by using shear wave velocity and borehole data, the site classification is evaluated for a typical soft soil site on the Yantai seacoast. The site seismic ground motion effect is analyzed and the influence of the coastal soil on design ground motion parameters is discussed. The results show that the brief site classification can not represent the real conditions of a soft soil site; the soft soil on the coast has a remarkable impact on the magnitude and spectrum of ground motion acceleration. The magnification on peak acceleration is bigger, however, due to the nonlinear deformation of the soil. | 14 | Quantification and analysis of anthocyanin and flavonoids compositions,and antioxidant activities in onions with three different colors显示文摘Onion(Allium cepa L.) is a very important vegetable crop widely cultivated throughout the world. In this study, we measured total anthocyanins and flavonols of onions of three colors. The fresh weight(FW) of total anthocyanins were(29.99±1.19),(9.64±1.30) and(0.75±0.40) mg 100 g^(–1) fruit in red, yellow and white onions, respectively. Likewise, the FW of total flavonoids were(111.10±5.98),(36.64±3.59), and 0 mg 100 g^(–1) in red, yellow and white, respectively. Four types of anthocyanins(delphinidin 3,5-diglycosides, cyanidin 3,5-diglycosides, cyanidin 3-glycosides and cyanidin 3-(6′′-malonyl)-glucopyranoside) and two kinds of flavonoids(quercetin and quercetin 3-glycosides) were identified in two varieties(red and yellow bulb) of onions by HPLC/DAD-ESI/MS. The total polyphenol contents were also measured by means of Folin-Ciocalteu method. Moreover, all the concentrations of anthocyanins, flavonoids and polyphenols showed significantly positive correlations with antioxidant activities measured by DPPH˙, ABTS˙+ and FRAP assays. | 15 | Aberrant expression of ether à go-go potassium channel in colorectal cancer patients and cell lines显示文摘AIM: To study the expression of ether à go-go (Eag1) potassium channel in colorectal cancer and the relation- ship between their expression and clinico-pathological features. METHODS: The expression levels of Eag1 protein were determined in 76 cancer tissues with paired non- cancerous matched tissues as well as 9 colorectal adenoma tissues by immunohistochemistry. Eag1 mRNA expression was detected in 13 colorectal cancer tissues with paired non-cancerous matched tissues and 4 colorectal adenoma tissues as well as two colorectal cancer cell lines (LoVo and HT-29) by reverse transcription PCR. RESULTS: The frequency of positive expression of Eag1 protein was 76.3% (58/76) and Eag1 mRNA was 76.9% (10/13) in colorectal cancer tissue. Expression level of Eag1 protein was dependent on the tumor size, lymphatic node metastasis, other organ metastases and Dukes’ stage (P < 0.05), while not dependent on age, sex, site and degree of differentiation. Eag1 protein and mRNA were negative in normal colorectal tissue, and absolutely negative in colorectal adenomas except that one case was positively stained for Eag1 protein. CONCLUSION: Eag1 protein and mRNA are aberrantly expressed in colorectal cancer and occasionally expressed in colorectal adenoma. | 19 | Leaf nitrogen resorption is more important than litter nitrogen mineralization in mediating the diversity–productivity relationship along a nitrogen-limited temperate forest succession chronosequence显示文摘The resorption of nutrients by plants before litter fall and the mineralization of nutrients from plant litter by soil processes are both important pathways supporting primary productivity. While the positive relationship between plant biodiversity and primary productivity is widely accepted for natural ecosystems, the roles of nutrient resorption and mineralization in mediating that relationship remains largely unknown. Here, we quantified the relative importance of nitrogen(N) resorption and N mineralization in driving plant community N investment and the correlation between species diversity and community productivity along an N-limited successional chronosequence of the mixed broadleaved–Korean pine(Pinus koraiensis) forest in northeastern China. Leaf N resorption efficiency(NRE) at the community level increased significantly along the successional chronosequence,whereas litter N mineralization rate decreased significantly. Leaf NRE was more important than litter N mineralization rate in driving the diversity–productivity relationship. However, higher leaf NRE led to less N mineralization as succession progressed along the chronosequence. Our results highlight the importance of the N resorption pathway rather than the N mineralization pathway for forest N acquisition with community succession,and they provide mechanistic insights into the positive effects of biodiversity on ecosystem functioning.
