1The General Design and Technology Innovations of CAP1400显示文摘行波堆为一次通过式燃料循环反应堆,其利用堆芯自增殖大大降低了对浓缩和后处理的需求。自增殖将次临界换料燃料转化为新的临界燃料,从而使增殖燃烧波得以扩散。该理念建立在增殖燃烧波和燃料的相对移动的基础上。因此,燃料或增殖燃烧波相对于固定的观察器而言是移动的。行波堆最实用的体现就是能够在将核反应保持在同一位置的同时移动燃料——有时行波堆也被称为'驻波堆'。行波堆能够使用换料铀燃料运行,换料铀燃料包括完全贫化铀、天然铀和低浓缩铀燃料(即235U含量为5.5%或更低的燃料),这些燃料通常在快谱中达不到临界状态。轻水反应堆卸出的乏燃料也可以作为行波堆的换料燃料。上述情况均无需后处理即可实现极高的燃料利用率和燃料废物量的显著降低。当换料燃料为贫化铀时,行波堆的最大优势得以实现,即在启动后,无需浓缩设施,就可维持最先启动的反应堆和一连串后续的反应堆的运行。自2006年起,泰拉能源公司(Terra Power)与50多个机构高度协作,开展了概念设计、工程设计和相关技术开发活动,力争到2026年实现将第一个机组投入使用。本文总结了行波堆技术,包括它的发展计划及其进展,分析了行波堆的社会和经济效益。Mingguang Zheng Jinquan Yan Jun Shenttu Lin Tian Xujia Wang Zhongming Qiu 2016Engineering2016,2,1:27
2Neutrophil extracellular traps mediate the crosstalk between glioma progression and the tumor microenvironment via the HMGB1/RAGE/IL-8 axis显示文摘Objective:Neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)produced by tumor-infiltrating neutrophils(TINs)are associated with poor prognosis in patients with several types of cancer.However,the mechanisms underlying the involvement of NETs in glioma progression remain largely unknown.This study aimed to elucidate the roles of NETs in biological processes that drive the crosstalk between glioma progression and the tumor microenvironment.Methods:Neutrophil infiltration and NETs formation were investigated in glioma tissue through immunohistochemistry,and their relationships with clinicopathological features and outcomes were statistically evaluated.The effects of NETs on glioma cell progression were studied in a co-culture system.In vivo and in vitro experiments validated the reactive oxygen species activity and cytokine production of TINs,as well as the ERK signaling pathway activation and the metastasis of gliomas.Results:Neutrophil infiltration and NETs formation were induced in high-grade glioma compared with low-grade glioma.NETs induced by TINs were determined to be an oncogenic marker of high-grade gliomas and to be involved in cell proliferation and invasion.NETs overproduction promoted glioma cell proliferation,migration,and invasion.Furthermore,HMGB1 was found to bind to RAGE and activate the NF-κB signaling pathway in vitro.In addition,NETs stimulated the NF-κB signaling pathway,thus promoting IL-8 secretion in glioblastoma.Subsequently,IL-8 recruited neutrophils which in turn mediated NETs formation via the PI3 K/AKT/ROS axis in TINs.Conclusions:Our results suggest that NETs produced by TINs mediate the crosstalk between glioma progression and the tumor microenvironment by regulating the HMGB1/RAGE/IL-8 axis.Targeting NETs formation or IL-8 secretion may be an effective approach to inhibit glioma progression.Caijun Zha Xiangqi Meng Lulu Li Shan Mi Da Qian Ziwei Li Pengfei Wu Shaoshan Hu Shihong Zhao Jinquan Cai Yanhong Liu 2020Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,1:19
3Evolution of Sedimentation and Tectonics of the Youjiang Composite Basin, South China显示文摘Located at the southern margin of the South China plate, the Youjiang basin is a closely related to the NW- and NE-trending syndepositional faults in respect to the configuration and structure of the basin. The evolution of the Youjiang basin progressed through two stages. In the Hercynian period, the opening of the Ailaoshan-Honghe ocean basin gave rise to a number of NW-trending rift belts in the Youjiang area. During this period, deep-water sediments were dominant and the basin was possesed of the characteristics of the rift system of passive continental margins. In the early Indosinian after the Dongwu movement, the circum - Pacific tectonism led to a major change in the configuration and structure of the basin. In the meantime, the Ailaoshan ocean basin began to be subducted towards the northeast, thus causing the basin to be split and expand again, and then the basin developed into the stage of the back -arc basin. 4A novel fault tolerant permanent magnet synchronous motor with improved optimal torque control for aerospace application显示文摘Improving fault tolerant performance of permanent magnet synchronous motor has always been the central issue of the electrically supplied actuator for aerospace application. In this paper, a novel fault tolerant permanent magnet synchronous motor is proposed, which is characterized by two stators and two rotors on the same shaft with a circumferential displacement of mechanical angle of 4.5. It helps to reduce the cogging torque. Each segment of the stator and the rotor can be considered as an 8-pole/10-slot five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor with concentrated, single-layer and alternate teeth wound winding, which enhance the fault isolation capacity of the motor. Furthermore, the motor has high phase inductance to restrain the short-circuit current. In addition, an improved optimal torque control strategy is proposed to make the motor work well under the open-circuit fault and short-circuit fault conditions. 5Coupling mechanism of roof and supporting wall in gob-side entry retaining in fully-mechanized mining with gangue backfilling显示文摘We analyzed the deformation characteristics of overlying stratum in backfilling with fully-mechanized and retaining roadways along the gob area coal mining technology, and established a mechanical model for the roof key stratum of retaining roadways along gob under the conditions of backfilling and fully- mechanized coal mining technology. Using Winkler elastic foundation theory, we analyzed a part of the key stratum under the action of elastic foundation coupling problem, and derived deflection analyt- ical expressions. Combined with specific conditions, we obtained the deflection curves for the roof key stratum of retaining roadways along gob under the conditions of backfilling and fully-mechanized coal mining technology. 6Cytological mechanisms of interspecific incrossability and hybrid sterility between Oryza sativa L. and O. alta Swallen显示文摘Oryza sativa and O. alta belong to AA and CCDD genomes in Oryza, respectively. Interspecific repro-ductive isolation limits the transfer of favorable genes from O. alta into O. sativa. The cytological mechanisms of interspecific incrossability and hybrid sterility between O. sativa and O. alta were studied systematically in this paper. We indentified two cytological causes of interspecific incrossabil-ity. First, we observed embryo sac incompatibility that caused fertilization barriers of variable severity such as non-fertilization, fertilization stagnation and egg cell single-fertilization. Second, we observed hybrid inviability, the major cause for incrossability, apparent from hybrid embryo developmental stagnation and embryo abortion. Hybrid sterility included both embryo sac sterility and pollen sterility. The hybrid embryo sac was completely sterile and exhibited mainly embryo sac degeneration. Hybrid pollen was also sterile and mainly typical abortive. Hybrid sterility was mainly caused by severely ab-normal meioses of megasporocytes and pollen mother cells; it is the most important abnormality, being chromosome sterility. 7A self-adaptive negative selection algorithm used for anomaly detection显示文摘A novel negative selection algorithm (NSA),which is referred to as ANSA,is presented. In many actual anomaly detection systems,the training data are just partially composed of the normal elements,and the self/nonself space often varies over time. Therefore,anom-aly detection system has to build the profile of the system based on a part of self elements and adjust itself to adapt those variables. However,previous NSAs need a large number of self elements to build the profile of the system,and lack adaptability. In order to over-come these limitations,the proposed approach uses a novel technique to adjust the self radius and evolve the nonself-covering detectors to build an appropriate profile of the system. To determine the performance of the approach,the experiments with the well-known data-set were performed. 8Gossypol: phytoalexin of cotton显示文摘Sesquiterpenoids are a class of 15-carbon secondary metabolites that play diverse roles in plant adaptation to environment.Cotton plants accumulate a large amount of sesquiterpene aldehydes(including gossypol)as phytoalexins against pathogens and herbivores.They are stored in pigment glands of aerial organs and in epidermal layers of roots.Several enzymes of gossypol biosynthesis pathway have been characterized,including 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase(HMGR)and farnesyl diphosphate synthase(FPS)that catalyze the formation of the precursor farnesyl diphosphate(FPP),(+)-δ-cadinene synthase(CDN)which is the first enzyme committed to gossypol biosynthesis,and the downstream enzymes of CYP706B1 and methyltransferase.Expressions of these genes are tightly regulated during cotton plants development and induced by jasmonate and fungi elicitors.The transcription factor Ga WRKY1 has been shown to be involved in gossypol pathway regulation.Recent development of new genomic platforms and methods and releases of diploid and tetraploid cotton genome sequences will greatly facilitate the elucidation of gossypol biosynthetic pathway and its regulation.Xiu Tian Juxin Ruan Jinquan Huang Xin Fang Yingbo Mao Lingjian Wang Xiaoya Chen Changqing Yang 2016Science China(Life Sciences)2016,59,2:10

11Fault diagnosis based on measurement reconstruction of HPT exit pressure for turbofan engine显示文摘Aero-engine gas path health monitoring plays a critical role in Engine Health Management(EHM). To achieve unbiased estimation, traditional filtering methods have strict requirements on measurement parameters which sometimes cannot be measured in engineering. The most typical one is the High-Pressure Turbine(HPT) exit pressure, which is vital to distinguishing failure modes between different turbines. For the case of an abrupt failure occurring in a single turbine component, a model-based sensor measurement reconstruction method is proposed in this paper. First,to estimate the missing measurements, the forward algorithm and the backward algorithm are developed based on corresponding component models according to the failure hypotheses. Then,a new fault diagnosis logic is designed and the traditional nonlinear filter is improved by adding the measurement estimation module and the health parameter correction module, which uses the reconstructed measurement to complete the health parameters estimation. Simulation results show that the proposed method can well restore the desired measurement and the estimated measurement can be used in the turbofan engine gas path diagnosis. 12An Efficient and Stable Ionic Liquid System for Synthesis of Ethylene Glycol via Hydrolysis of Ethylene Carbonate显示文摘An ionic liquid system of [Bmim]X/[Bmim]OH(X Cl,BF4,and PF6,) was developed for the hydroly-sis of ethylene carbonate to ethylene glycol. The important parameters,such as the variety of ionic liquids,molar ratio of [Bmim]X to [Bmim]OH,amount of ionic liquid,molar ratio of water to ethylene carbonate,reaction tem-perature,pressure and reaction time,were investigated systematically. Excellent yield(>93%) and high selectivity(99.5%) of ethylene glycol were achieved. 13Progress in the mechanism and targeted drug therapy for COPD显示文摘Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)is emphysema and/or chronic bronchitis characterised by long-term breathing problems and poor airflow.The prevalence of COPD has increased over the last decade and the drugs most commonly used to treat it,such as glucocorticoids and bronchodilators,have significant therapeutic effects;however,they also cause side effects,including infection and immunosuppression.Here we reviewed the pathogenesis and progression of COPD and elaborated on the effects and mechanisms of newly developed molecular targeted COPD therapeutic drugs.Among these new drugs,we focussed on thioredoxin(Trx).Trx effectively prevents the progression of COPD by regulating redox status and protease/anti-protease balance,blocking the NF-κB and MAPK signalling pathways,suppressing the activation and migration of inflammatory cells and the production of cytokines,inhibiting the synthesis and the activation of adhesion factors and growth factors,and controlling the cAMP-PKA and PI3K/Akt signalling pathways.The mechanism by which Trx affects COPD is different from glucocorticoid-based mechanisms which regulate the inflammatory reaction in association with suppressing immune responses.In addition,Trx also improves the insensitivity of COPD to steroids by inhibiting the production and internalisation of macrophage migration inhibitory factor(MIF).Taken together,these findings suggest that Trx may be the ideal drug for treating COPD.Cuixue Wang Jiedong Zhou Jinquan Wang Shujing Li Atsushi Fukunaga Junji Yodoi Hai Tian 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:8

17Microwave absorbing properties and magnetic properties of different carbon nanotubes显示文摘The microwave absorbing properties and magnetic properties of as-grown Fe-filled carbon nanotubes (CNTs), annealed Fe-filled CNTs, and multi-walled CNTs were studied. Vibrating sample magnetometer results showed that the annealed Fe-filled CNTs have the weakest coercivity and strongest saturation magnetization among the three types CNTs, due to the presence of more ferromagnetic α-Fe nanowires. After annealing, the values increased to 291.0 Oe and 28.0 emu/g and the samples showed excellent microwave absorbing properties. 19Estimated evolutionary tempo of East Asian gobionid fishes (Teleostei:Cyprinidae) from mitochondrial DNA sequence data显示文摘The rapid development of molecular phylogenetic analysis has provided a new path to investigate the tempo of evolution.In this work,a rather complete molecular phylogeny of the East Asian gobionid fishes was constructed based on mtDNA cytochrome b gene sequences.Molecular clock analysis was then applied to investigate the speciation tempo of this group.The phylogenetic analysis revealed four major groups that were in agreement with previous studies.Lineage numbers plotted over time indicate that gobionid lineages increased in an exponential mode with the equation expressed as y=87.562×e 0.1141x,where y is the number of lineages and x represents the geological time,and 0 < x ≤ 30,1≤ y ≤ 65.The speciation rate of gobionid fishes calculated by LASER program was inconstant.Peaks of speciation were identified and found approximately to be coincident with East Asian geological events,such as uplifts of the Tibetan plateau and formation of the monsoon system.LIU HuanZhang YANG JinQuan TANG QiongYing 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,15:6
20Effect of tempering temperature on the mechanical properties and microstructure of an copper-bearing low carbon bainitic steel显示文摘The effect of tempering temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of ultra-high strength,copper- bearing,low-carbon bainitic steel has been investigated in the experiment.The results showed that the microstructure was mainly the laths of bainite in the as-quenched steel.The bainitic laths were restored and combined after the steel tempered at various tempera- tures.There were martensite/austenite(M/A)islands and numerous dislocations within and between the bainitic laths,while very fine precipitates ofε-Cu were also observed within the laths.With increasing the tempered temperature from 400 to 600℃,the yield strength(YS)increased from 877 to 957 MPa,whereas the ultimate tensile strength(UTS)decreased from 1020 to 985 MPa.The Charpy V-notch(CVN)varied from 68.5 to 42 J,and the value was minimal for the steel tempered at 500℃.Aimin Guo Xinli Song Jinquan Tang Zexi Yuan 2008Journal of University of Science and Technology Beijing2008,15,1:6
