2The adult human testis transcriptional cell atlas显示文摘Human adult spermatogenesis balances spermatogonial stem cell (SSC) self-renewal and differentiation,alongside complex germ cell-niche interactions,to ensure long-term fertility and faithful genome propagation. Here,we performed single-cell RNA sequencing of -6500 testicular cells from young adults. We found five niche/somatic cell types (Leydig,myoid,Sertoli,endothelial,macrophage),and observed germline-niche interactions and key human-mouse differences. Spermatogenesis,including meiosis,was reconstructed computationally,revealing sequential coding,non-coding,and repeat-element transcriptional signatures. Interestingly,we identified five discrete transcriptional/developmental spermatogonial states,including a novel early SSC state,termed State 0. Epigenetic features and nascent transcription analyses suggested developmental plasticity within spermatogonial States. To understand the or丨gin of State 0,we profiled testicular cells from infants,and identified distinct similarities between adult State 0 and infant SSCs. Overall,our datasets describe key transcriptional and epigenetic signatures of the normal adult human testis,and provide new insights into germ cell developmental transitions and plasticity.Jingtao Guo Edward J. 4Field trial of an HTS filter system on a CDMA base station显示文摘This paper presents the field trial results of a high temperature superconductor filter system (HTSFS) in a code division multiple access (CDMA) mobile communication base station (BTS) in Tangshan, China. The center frequency of the HTSFS is 830 MHz with 1.4% fractional bandwidth. The noise figure (NF) of the HTSFS, including connectors and cables, is 0.8 dB. The field trial results show that after the HTSFS was installed in the receiver front-end of a CDMA base station, the transmitting power of handset was decreased by 3.1 dB on average. 5Effect of variable heat treatment modes on microstructures of Fe-Cr-Bcast iron alloy显示文摘The effect of heat treatment mode on the microstructure of Fe-Cr-B cast iron alloys was investigated inthis paper by comparing the difference of precipitation patterns of secondary particles after thermal cycling treatment(TCT) with those after normal heat treatment (NHT). No obvious differences were found in precipitation patterns ofsecondary particles between TCT and NHT when experimental temperature was below Ar1. However, whentemperature was over Ar1, there were significant differences, with secondary particles prominently segregated at thegrain boundaries under TCT, while the particles evenly distributed in the matrix under NHT. 6Hexagonal boron nitride nanosheet for effective ambient N2 fixation to NH3显示文摘Industrial production of NH3 from N2 and H2 significantly relies on Haber-Bosch process,which suffers from high energy consume and CO2 emission.As a sustainable and environmentally-benign alternative process,electrochemical artificial N2 fixation at ambient conditions,however,is highly required efficient electrocatalysts.In this study,we demonstrate that hexagonal boron nitride nanosheet (h-BNNS) is able to electrochemically catalyze N2 to NH3.In acidic solution,h-BNNS catalyst attains a high NH3 formation rate of 22.4 μg·h-1·mg-1cat.and a high Faradic efficiency of 4.7% at-0.75 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode,with excellent stability and durability.Density functional theory calculations reveal that unsaturated boron at the edge site can activate inert N2 molecule and significantly reduce the energy barrier for NH3 fonmation.Ya Zhang Huitong Du Yongjun Ma Lei Ji Haoran Guo Ziqi Tian Hongyu Chen Hong Huang Guanwei Cui Abdullah M. 7Palaeoskapha sichuanensis gen. et sp. nov. (Menispermaceae) from the Eocene Relu Formation in western Sichuan, West China显示文摘Palaeoskapha sichuanensis gen. et sp. nov. of Menispermaceae is described here for the first time based on a well preserved fossil fruit. The specimen was found in the Relu Formation of western Sichuan, West China. The specimen, straight, boat-shaped endocarp with large ventral condyle, clearly belongs to the tribe Tinosporeae. The wide aperture of the double condyle, combined with a whole shape not deeply invaginated, indicates a genus different from what was already known to science for this tribe. 8Study on interfacial heat transfer coefficient at metal/die interface during high pressure die casting process of AZ91D alloy显示文摘The high pressure die casting (HPDC) process is one of the fastest growing and most efficient methods for the production of complex shape castings of magnesium and aluminum alloys in today's manufacturing industry. In this study, a high pressure die casting experiment using AZ91D magnesium alloy was conducted, and the temperature profiles inside the die were measured. By using a computer program based on solving the inverse heat problem, the metal/die interfacial heat transfer coefficient (IHTC) was calculated and studied. The results show that the IHTC between the metal and die increases right after the liquid metal is brought into the cavity by the plunger, and decreases as the solidification process of the liquid metal proceeds until the liquid metal is completely solidified, when the IHTC tends to be stable. The interfacial heat transfer coefficient shows different characteristics under different casting wall thicknesses and varies with the change of solidification behavior.GUO Zhi-peng XIONG Shou-mei M.
