| 1 | A linear ADRC-based robust high-dynamic double-loop servo system for aircraft electro-mechanical actuators显示文摘Compared with traditional hydraulic actuators, an Electro-Mechanical Actuator(EMA)is small in size and light in weight, so it has become more widely used. Aerodynamic load on aircraft control surface varies dramatically, and a change of flight environment leads to uncertainties of motor parameters. Therefore, high-dynamic response and strong anti-disturbance capability of an EMA are of great significance for aircraft rudder control and flight attitude adjustment. In order to improve dynamic response and disturbance rejection of an EMA and simplify control parameters tuning, a robust high-dynamic servo system based on Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control(LADRC) is proposed for an EMA employing a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM).Firstly, total disturbances of the EMA are analyzed, including parameter uncertainties, load variation, and static friction. A disturbance observer based on a reduced-order Extended State Observer(ESO) is designed to improve the anti-interference ability and dynamic performance. Secondly, the servo control architecture is simplified to a double-loop system, and a composite control of position and speed with acceleration feed-forward is presented to improve the EMA frequency bandwidth.Thirdly, the ideal model of the EMA is transformed into a simple cascade integral form with a disturbance observer, which makes it convenient to analyze and design the controller. Robustness performance comparisons are realized in frequency domain. A lot of research work has been done to design reliable sequence library. A revised method based on the support system developed by Tanaka et al. is proposed here with different criteria to construct fitness function. Then we adapt particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to our encoding problem. By using the new algorithm, a set of sequences with good quality is generated. The result also shows that our PSO-based approach could rapidly converge at the minimum level for an output of the simulation model. | 3 | Enhancement of acellular cartilage matrix scaffold by Wharton’s jelly mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes to promote osteochondral regeneration显示文摘Articular cartilage defect repair is a problem that has long plagued clinicians.Although mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have the potential to regenerate articular cartilage,they also have many limitations.Recent studies have found that MSC-derived exosomes(MSC-Exos)play an important role in tissue regeneration.The purpose of this study was to verify whether MSC-Exos can enhance the reparative effect of the acellular cartilage extracellular matrix(ACECM)scaffold and to explore the underlying mechanism.The results of in vitro experiments show that human umbilical cord Wharton’s jelly MSC-Exos(hWJMSC-Exos)can promote the migration and proliferation of bone marrow-derived MSCs(BMSCs)and the proliferation of chondrocytes.We also found that hWJMSC-Exos can promote the polarization of macrophages toward the M2 phenotype.The results of a rabbit knee osteochondral defect repair model confirmed that hWJMSC-Exos can enhance the effect of the ACECM scaffold and promote osteochondral regeneration.We demonstrated that hWJMSC-Exos can regulate the microenvironment of the articular cavity using a rat knee joint osteochondral defect model.This effect was mainly manifested in promoting the polarization of macrophages toward the M2 phenotype and inhibiting the inflammatory response,which may be a promoting factor for osteochondral regeneration.In addition,microRNA(miRNA)sequencing confirmed that hWJMSC-Exos contain many miRNAs that can promote the regeneration of hyaline cartilage.We further clarified the role of hWJMSC-Exos in osteochondral regeneration through target gene prediction and pathway enrichment analysis.In summary,this study confirms that hWJMSC-Exos can enhance the effect of the ACECM scaffold and promote osteochondral regeneration. | Shuangpeng Jiang Guangzhao Tian Zhen Yang Xiang Gao Fuxin Wang Juntan Li Zhuang Tian Bo Huang Fu Wei Xinyu Sang Liuqi Shao Jian Zhou Zhenyong Wang Shuyun Liu Xiang Sui Quanyi Guo Weimin Guo Xu Li | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,9: | 11 |
| 4 | Arithmetic computation using self-assembly of DNA tiles:subtraction and division显示文摘Recently, experiments have demonstrated that simple binary arithmetic and logical operations can be computed by the process of self- assembly of DNA tiles. In this paper, we show how the tile assembly process can be used for subtraction and division. In order to achieve this aim, four systems, including the comparator system, the duplicator system, the subtraction system, and the division system, are pro- posed to compute the difference and quotient of two input numbers using the tile assembly model. This work indicates that these systems can be carried out in polynomial time with optimal O(1) distinct tile types in parallel and at very low cost. | 5 | Modified PSO algorithm for solving planar graph coloring problem显示文摘The graph coloring is a classic NP-complete problem. Presently there is no effective method to solve this problem. Here we propose a modifled particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm in which a disturbance factor is added to a particle swarm optimizer for improv- ing its performance. When the current global best solution cannot be updated in a certain time period that is longer than the disturbance factor, a certain number of particles will be chosen according to probability and their velocities will be reset to force the particle swarm to get rid of local minimizers. It is found that this operation is helpful to improve the performance of particle swarm. Classic planar graph coloring problem is resolved by using modifled particle swarm optimization algorithm. | 7 | Early Jurassic basal sauropodomorpha dominated tracks from Guizhou, China: Morphology, ethology, and paleoenvironment显示文摘The newly discovered large(350 m^2) Yantan dinosaur tracksite, in the Lower Jurassic Ziliujing Formation of Guizhou Province, China, reveals at least 250 footprints of which ~97 can be resolved into trackways of sauropodomorphs. All the trackways are sub parallel likely indicating gregarious behavior. One theropod track(cf. Grallator) was recorded. The sauropodomorph tracks predominantly represent quadrupedal progression(Morphotype A), and footprint morphology is similar to the ichnospecies Liujianpusshunan, characterized by outward pes rotation. Three trackways indicate bipedal progression, and two of these(Morphotype B) indicate inward pes rotation, accompanied by elongate pes digit scratch marks. For the latter phenomenon three possible scenarios are discussed:(1) significant rotation changes accompanying changes in gait,(2) swimming behavior,(3) formation of undertracks.Sedimentological evidence indicates the tracks were made on a linguloid rippled, muddy, immature sandstone substrate characterized by significant differences in substrate consistency across the trackbearing surface. Microbially induced sedimentary structures(MISS) characterized by distinctive wrinkle marks indicate a stressed, probably semi-arid, paleoenvironment that was not conducive to habitation by invertebrate organisms. | 8 | Structure,Orientation and Finite Element Analysis of the Tail Club of Mamenchisaurus hochuanensis显示文摘The structure and orientation of the posterior extremity (tail club) of the caudal vertebrae of Mamenchisaurus hochuanensis Young and Chao, 1972 from the Upper Jurassic Shangshaximiao Formation has been analyzed to determine the tail club function using Finite Element Analysis. Of the four caudal vertebrae composing the tail club, the second largest (C'1') was probably the most proximal, and is fixed with the preceding sequence of the caudal vertebrae, whereas the smallest (C'4') is free and forms the termination of the tail club. Our analysis also suggests that the tail club is more efficient in lateral swinging rather than up-and-down motion, and that the best region for the tail club to impact is at the spine of the largest of the four caudals (C'2'), with a maximum load for impact at about 450 N. | 12 | A novel quality evaluation method for magnolia bark using electronic nose and colorimeter data with multiple statistical algorithms显示文摘Background:Magnolia bark(Magnolia Officinalis REHD.&WILS.and Magnolia officinalis REHD.&WILS.VAR.biloba REHD.&WILS,Hou Po in Chinese),is widely applied in clinical prescriptions and Chinese patent medicines.Origin place is a crucial factor affecting the quality of Hou Po,and chemical composition is an important index for evaluating its quality,which is closely related to its clinical efficacy.This study aims to develop a novel method for rapidly,accurately and comprehensively identifying the origin places of Hou Po and predicting the contents of its important chemical components.Methods:High performance liquid chromatography was used to analyze the contents of magnolol and honokiol and ultra-performance liquid chromatography the contents of magnocurarine and magnoflorine.The cold soak method was used to determine the contents of water-soluble extracts.The E-nose and colorimeter were used to determine the odor and color characteristics,respectively,of the collected Hou Po samples.Results:Using several statistical algorithms,different discriminant models based on the E-nose and colorimeter data were established to distinguish the origin place of Hou-Po and predict the chemical components of honokiol,magnolol,magnocurarine,magnoflorine and water-soluble extracts.The results showed that the Random Forest classifier combined with the ten-fold cross-validation method provided the highest classification accuracy for origin place,accounting for 99.53%among these models.The correlation coefficients between predicted and experimental values of the five chemical components were all higher than 0.96.Conclusion:This study has indicated that the electronic nose and colorimeter are promising methods for evaluating the quality of Chinese herbal medicines both qualitatively and quantitatively. | Jiahui Li Yuanyang Shao Yuebao Yao Yuetong Yu Guangzhao Cao Huiqin Zou Yonghong Yan | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2020,7,2: | 4 |

| 14 | Accelerating evaluation of converged lattice thermal conductivity显示文摘High-throughput computational materials design is an emerging area in materials science,which is based on the fast evaluation of physical-related properties.The lattice thermal conductivity(κ)is a key property of materials for enormous implications.However,the high-throughput evaluation ofκremains a challenge due to the large resources costs and time-consuming procedures.In this paper,we propose a concise strategy to efficiently accelerate the evaluation process of obtaining accurate and convergedκ.The strategy is in the framework of phonon Boltzmann transport equation(BTE)coupled with first-principles calculations.Based on the analysis of harmonic interatomic force constants(IFCs),the large enough cutoff radius(r^(cutoff)),a critical parameter involved in calculating the anharmonic IFCs,can be directly determined to get satisfactory results.Moreover,we find a simple way to largely(~10 times)accelerate the computations by fast reconstructing the anharmonic IFCs in the convergence test ofκwith respect to the rcutof,which finally confirms the chosen r^(cutoff) is appropriate.Two-dimensional graphene and phosphorene along with bulk SnSe are presented to validate our approach,and the long-debate divergence problem of thermal conductivity in low-dimensional systems is studied.The quantitative strategy proposed herein can be a good candidate for fast evaluating the reliableκand thus provides useful tool for high-throughput materials screening and design with targeted thermal transport properties. | Guangzhao Qin Ming Hu | 2018 | npj Computational Materials2018,,1: | 3 |
| 15 | Investigation into Spatter Particles and Their Effect on the Formation Quality During Selective Laser Melting Processes显示文摘During the selective laser melting process,a high-energy laser beam acts on the powder,a molten pool is rapidly generated and the characteristic parameters are constantly changing.Among them,temperature is one of the important parameters in the forming process.Due to the generation of splash particles,there will be defects in the microstructure,which will seriously affect the formation quality of the prepared parts.Therefore,it is necessary to study the relationships between the splash behavior,molten pool characteristics and product quality.The finite element simulation of the transient temperature field was performed by ANSYS software.Time-series images at different frame rates were obtained with a high-speed camera,and the dynamic process of splashing was observed.Using IN718 alloy powder,the influence of the laser energy density on the light intensity of the molten pool was studied.The appearance of splash particles and the deviation of the powder chemical elements caused by the splash were analyzed.The results show that the transient temperature field with drastic change is easy to cause spatter,which is consistent with the experimental results.There are large differences in the splash at different shooting frame rates.Increasing the frame rate can allow the observation of details such as the shape,size and number of splash particles,which is beneficial for studying the process of splash formation.At the moment when the splash occurs,the light intensity of the molten pool always first increases and then decreases,depending on the energy input.The higher the energy input is,the more intense the light intensity of the molten pool and the higher the peak interval distribution.Compared with fresh powder,the contents of Al and Ti in powder reused 5 times were reduced by 0.15%and 0.02%,respectively.The increases of these two elements in the splash were 16.18%and 29.62%,respectively,and the content of Nb even exceeded the standard range.When the energy density decreased from 229.17 J/mm3 to 130.95 J/mm3,the relative density of the part increased from 91.82%to 99.83%.This shows that reducing the energy input can reduce the splash to suppress the generation of defects,along with the weakening of the overall light intensity of the molten pool.These results can provide a basis for feature extraction of the molten pool,which is of great significance for real-time monitoring and online control in manufacturing processes and ensuring product quality. | Zhiqiang Wang Xuede Wang Xin Zhou Guangzhao Ye Xing Cheng Peiyu Zhang | 2020 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,7: | 3 |

| 17 | Redescription of Gigantspinosaurus sichuanensis (Dinosauria, Stegosauria) from the Late Jurassic of Sichuan, Southwestern China显示文摘Gigantspinosaurus sichuanensis is one of the six Stegosauria genera discovered from the Sichuan basin, which preserves the first skin impressions of stegosaurs around the world and a huge pair of ‘comma'-shaped parascapular spines kept in situ, and being named after the latter feature. The holotype was firstly named and reported in an abstract of a lecture by Ouyang, 1992, since when it has never been detailed studied and the taxonomic position of Gigantspinosaurus is also vague. The morphological redescription shows that G. sichuanensis is a medium-sized stegosaur, with external mandibular foramen developed. The ratio of femur to humerus is large, and the intersacral fenestrae are big. According to the wear degree of teeth, the holotype of G. sichuanensis is regarded as an adult individual. On the basis of the recent data matrix of stegosaurs and the characters revisions of G. sichuanensis, its phylogenetic position has been determined again. By our detailed morphological and phylogenetic analysis, G. sichuanensis is considered to inherit some primitive traits, but it is more derived than Huayangosaurus, and located in a transitional position between Huayangosaurus and Tuojiangosaurus, as a kind of evolved stegosaurs. | 19 | Gold nanoparticle-directed autophagy intervention for antitumor immunotherapy via inhibiting tumor-associated macrophage M2 polarization显示文摘Tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs),one of the dominating constituents of tumor microenvironment,are important contributors to cancer progression and treatment resistance.Therefore,regulation of TAMs polarization from M2 phenotype towards M1 phenotype has emerged as a new strategy for tumor immunotherapy.Herein,we successfully initiated antitumor immunotherapy by inhibiting TAMs M2 polarization via autophagy intervention with polyethylene glycol-conjugated gold nanoparticles(PEG-Au NPs).PEG-Au NPs suppressed TAMs M2 polarization in both in vitro and in vivo models,elicited antitumor immunotherapy and inhibited subcutaneous tumor growth in mice.As demonstrated by the m RFP-GFP-LC3 assay and analyzing the autophagy-related proteins(LC3,beclin1 and P62),PEGAu NPs induced autophagic flux inhibition in TAMs,which is attributed to the PEG-Au NPs induced lysosome alkalization and membrane permeabilization.Besides,TAMs were prone to polarize towards M2phenotype following autophagy activation,whereas inhibition of autophagic flux could reduce the M2polarization of TAMs.Our results revealed a mechanism underlying PEG-Au NPs induced antitumor immunotherapy,where PEG-Au NPs reduce TAMs M2 polarization via induction of lysosome dysfunction and autophagic flux inhibition.This study elucidated the biological effects of nanomaterials on TAMs polarization and provided insight into harnessing the intrinsic immunomodulation capacity of nanomaterials for effective cancer treatment. | Siyue Zhang Fangyuan Xie Kaichun Li He Zhang You Yin Yuan Yu Guangzhao Lu Shihao Zhang Yan Wei Ke Xu Yan Wu Hong Jin Lan Xiao Leilei Bao Can Xu Yulin Li Ying Lu Jie Gao | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,7: | 2 |
| 20 | Antifouling mechanism of natural product-based coatings investigated by digital holographic microscopy显示文摘Using natural product-based antifouling coatings has proven to be an effective strategy to combat biofouling.However,their antifouling mechanisms are still unclear.In this study,the antifouling mechanism of natural product-based coatings consisting of bio-sourced poly(lactic acid)-based polyurethane and ecofriendly antifoulant(butenolide)derived from marine bacteria was revealed by observing 3D bacterial motions utilizing a 3D tracking technique-digital holographic microscopy(DHM).As butenolide content increases,the density of planktonic marine bacteria(Pseudomonas sp.)near the surface decreases and thus leads to a reduced adhesion,indicating that butenolide elicits the adaptive response of Pseudomonas sp.to escape from the surface.Meanwhile,among these remained cells,an increased percentage is found to undergo subdiffusive motions compared with the case of smaller dose of butenolide.Further experiments show that butenolide can accelerate their swimming velocity and reduce flick frequency.Antibacterial assay confirms that butenolide-based coating shows high efficacy of antifouling performance against Pseudomonas sp.but without killing them like 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one(DCOIT). | Jiansen Pan Qingmei Peng Guoliang Zhang Qingyi Xie Xiangjun Gong Pei-Yuan Qian Chunfeng Ma Guangzhao Zhang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,25: | 2 |
