| 2 | Influences of atmospheric turbulence effects on the orbital angular momentum spectra of vortex beams显示文摘We investigate the atmospheric turbulence effects on orbital angular momentum(OAM) spectra of different kinds of vortex beams, including Laguerre–Gaussian(LG) beams and Bessel beams, numerically. We generate the holograms of atmospheric turbulence with different structure constants of the refractive index. The OAM spectra of distorted single-mode or multiplexed LG beams and Bessel beams are analyzed. Compared with the OAM spectra of the two kinds of vortex beams, the spectrum of the Bessel beams is more dispersive. | 5 | Biodegradation of nicosulfuron by a novel Alcaligenes faecalis strain ZWS11显示文摘A bacterial strain ZWS11 was isolated from sulfonylurea herbicide-contaminated farmland soil and identified as a potential nicosulfuron-degrading bacterium. Based on morphological and physicochemical characterization of the bacterium and phylogenetic analysis of the 16 S r RNA sequence, strain ZWS11 was identified as Alcaligenes faecalis. The effects of the initial concentration of nicosulfuron, inoculation volume, and medium p H on degradation of nicosulfuron were investigated. Strain ZWS11 could degrade 80.56% of the initial nicosulfuron supplemented at 500.0 mg/L under the conditions of p H 7.0, 180 r/min and30°C after incubation for 6 days. Strain ZWS11 was also capable of degrading rimsulfuron,tribenuron-methyl and thifensulfuron-methyl. Four metabolites from biodegradation of nicosulfuron were identified, which were 2-aminosulfonyl-N, N-dimethylnicotinamide(M1), 4, 6-dihydroxypyrimidine(M2), 2-amino-4, 6-dimethoxypyrimidine(M3) and2-(1-(4,6-dimethoxy-pyrimidin-2-yl)-ureido)-N,N-dimethyl-nicotinamide(M4). Among the metabolites detected, M2 was reported for the first time. Possible biodegradation pathways of nicosulfuron by strain ZWS11 were proposed. The degradation proceeded mainly via cleavage of the sulfonylurea bridge, O-dealkylation, and contraction of the sulfonylurea bridge by elimination of a sulfur dioxide group. | 6 | Influence of Tip Clearance on Performance of a Contra-Rotating Fan显示文摘Influences of tip clearance on the tip flow and associated loss mechanism in a contra-rotating axial flow fan hasbeen studied in the paper, based on three dimensional numerical results. The results with different tip clearanceare compared in terms of stage efficiency, relative total pressure loss coefficient, flow angle. It is found that theefficiency of the contra-rotating fan changes almost linearly with increment of the tip clearance, however, efficiencyof the rear rotor is observed to decrease more dramatically than that of the forward rotor given same tipclearance variation. The analysis on the flow structure indicates that the tip region flow field is qualitatively similarin both rotors. | 7 | Quantitative Diagnosis of Fault Severity Trend of Rolling Element Bearings显示文摘The condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of rolling element bearings are particularly crucial in rotating mechanical applications in industry. A bearing fault signal contains information not only about fault condition and fault type but also the severity of the fault. This means fault severity quantitative analysis is one of most active and valid ways to realize proper maintenance decision. Aiming at the deficiency of the research in bearing single point pitting fault quantitative diagnosis, a new back-propagation neural network method based on wavelet packet decomposition coefficient entropy is proposed. The three levels of wavelet packet coefficient entropy(WPCE) is introduced as a characteristic input vector to the BPNN. Compared with the wavelet packet decomposition energy ratio input vector, WPCE shows more sensitive in distinguishing from the different fault severity degree of the measured signal. The engineering application results show that the quantitative trend fault diagnosis is realized in the different fault degree of the single point bearing pitting fault. | 8 | A 14 nucleotide deletion mutation in the coding region of the PpBBX24 gene is associated with the red skin of“Zaosu Red”pear(Pyrus pyrifolia White Pear Group):a deletion in the PpBBX24 gene is associated with the red skin of pear显示文摘Red skin is an important quality trait for pear fruits and is determined by the concentration and composition of anthocyanins.The regulatory mechanism underlying anthocyanin accumulation is a popular topic in fruit research.Red mutants are ideal materials for studying the molecular mechanism of color diversity in pear.Although several red pear mutants have been cultivated and are in production,no exact locus containing the responsible genetic mutation has been identified.In this study,by combining the bulked segregant analysis with whole-genome sequencing,we identified a 14 nucleotide deletion mutation in the coding region of the PpBBX24 gene from the red pear mutant“Zaosu Red”.We further verified that the deletion was present only in the red mutant of“Zaosu”and in its red offspring,which was different from that which occurred in other red pear fruits.This deletion results in a coding frame shift such that there is an early termination of the PpBBX24 gene and loss of key NLS and VP domains from PpBBX24.The lost domains may reduce or alter the normal function of PpBBX24.In addition,we found that the transcript levels of the PpMYB10 and PpHY5 genes in red samples were significantly higher than those in green samples,whereas the results for the normal-type PpBBX24 gene were the opposite.We ultimately revealed that the 14 nucleotide deletion mutation in the coding region of the PpBBX24 gene is associated with the red skin of the“Zaosu Red”pear.This finding of somatic mutational events will be helpful for breeding new red pear cultivars and for understanding the regulatory mechanisms involved in pear skin pigmentation. | Chunqing Ou Xiaoli Zhang Fei Wang Liyi Zhang Yanjie Zhang Ming Fang Jiahong Wang Jixun Wang Shuling Jiang Zhihong Zhang | 2020 | Horticulture Research2020,7,1: | 4 |

| 10 | SARS-CoV-2 ORF10 suppresses the antiviral innate immune response by degrading MAVS through mitophagy显示文摘The global coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has caused severe morbidity and mortality in humans.It is urgent to understand the function of viral genes.However,the function of open reading frame 10(ORF10),which is uniquely expressed by SARS-CoV-2,remains unclear.In this study,we showed that overexpression of ORF10 markedly suppressed the expression of type I interferon(IFN-I)genes and IFN-stimulated genes.Then,mitochondrial antiviral signaling protein(MAVS)was identified as the target via which ORF10 suppresses the IFN-I signaling pathway,and MAVS was found to be degraded through the ORF10-induced autophagy pathway.Furthermore,overexpression of ORF10 promoted the accumulation of LC3 in mitochondria and induced mitophagy.Mechanistically,ORF10 was translocated to mitochondria by interacting with the mitophagy receptor Nip3-like protein X(NIX)and induced mitophagy through its interaction with both NIX and LC3B.Moreover,knockdown of NIX expression blocked mitophagy activation,MAVS degradation,and IFN-I signaling pathway inhibition by ORF10.Consistent with our observations,in the context of SARS-CoV-2 infection,ORF10 inhibited MAVS expression and facilitated viral replication.In brief,our results reveal a novel mechanism by which SARS-CoV-2 inhibits the innate immune response;that is,ORF10 induces mitophagy-mediated MAVS degradation by binding to NIX. | Xingyu Li Peili Hou Wenqing Ma Xuefeng Wang Hongmei Wang Zhangping Yu Huasong Chang Tiecheng Wang Song Jin Xue Wang Wenqi Wang Yudong Zhao Yong Zhao Chunqing Xu Xiaomei Ma Yuwei Gao Hongbin He | 2022 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,1: | 4 |
| 11 | An Integrated Mass Balance Approach for Assessing Hydrocarbon Resources in a Liquid-Rich Shale Resource Play:An Example from Upper Devonian Duvernay Formation,Western Canada Sedimentary Basin显示文摘Petroleum resource assessment using reservoir volumetric approach relies on porosity and oil/gas saturation characterization by laboratory tests.In liquid-rich resource plays,the pore fluids are subject to phase changes and mass loss when a drilled core is brought to the surface due to volume expansion and evaporation.Further,these two closely related volumetric parameters are usually estimated separately with gas saturation inferred by compositional complementary law,resulting in a distorted gas to oil ratio under the circumstances of liquid hydrocarbon loss from sample.When applied to liquid-rich shale resource play,this can lead to overall under-estimation of resource volume,distorted gas and oil ratio(GOR),and understated resource heterogeneity in the shale reservoir.This article proposes an integrated mass balance approach for resource calculation in liquid-rich shale plays.The proposed method integrates bulk rock geochemical data with production and reservoir parameters to overcome the problems associated with laboratory characterization of the volumetric parameters by restoring the gaseous and light hydrocarbon loss due to volume expansion and evaporation in the sample.The method is applied to a Duvernay production well(14-16-62-21 W5)in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin(WCSB)to demonstrate its use in resource evaluation for a liquid-rich play.The results show that(a)by considering the phase behavior of reservoir fluids,the proposed method can be used to infer the quantity of the lost gaseous and light hydrocarbons;(b)by taking into account the lost gaseous and light hydrocarbons,the method generates an unbiased and representative resource potential;and(c)using the corrected oil and gas mass for the analyzed samples,the method produces a GOR estimate close to compositional characteristics of the produced hydrocarbons from initial production in 14-16-62-21 W5 well. | Zhuoheng Chen Chunqing Jiang | 2020 | Journal of Earth Science2020,31,6: | 4 |

By inputting the intensity profile into the Gerchberg–Saxton algorithm [Optik 35, 237(1972)], the pre-compensation phase mask can be acquired. No additional probe beams are introduced, and all the computing is aiming at the transmitted vortex beams. The distorted vortex beams are investigated experimentally before and after pre-compensation, showing favorable compensation performance. | 17 | Revealing the crystallization process and realizing uniform 1.8 eV MA-based wide-bandgap mixed-halide perovskites via solution engineering显示文摘Wide-bandgap perovskites are recently drawing tremendous attention in the community for high-efficiency all-perovskite tandem solar cells.However,the formamidinium (FA^+) and methylammonium (MA^+) based wide-bandgap mixed halide perovskites suffered from high density of traps and pin-holes,respectively.Fundamental understanding on the crystallization and film formation processes are keys to overcome those challenges but not yet clearly understood.In this study,an in-situ photoluminescence technique was used to investigate the perovskite crystallization during the thermal annealing process.It is found that the crystallization of a mixed halide perovskite with bromide (Br^-) and iodine (I^-) ions following the Ostward ripening crystal growth.Interestingly,it is found that the initial nucleation reaction is quickly completed in the first few seconds,however,leaving the small crystals with inhomogeneous composition.The different aggregation affinities of such inhomogeneous small crystals provoke the formation of pin-holes during the thermal annealing process.By engineering the precursor solution to control the nucleation rate,the chemical composition of the small crystals has become homogenous.Uniform pin-hole free high Br-composited wide-bandgap MA0.9Cs0.1Pb(I0.6Br0.4)3 perovskite films with bandgap energy of 1.8 eV have been realized.The corresponding photovoltaic devices have achieved an encouraging device efficiency of 15.1% with superb photostability. | Yue-Min Xie Chunqing Ma Xiuwen Xu Menglin Li Yuhui Ma Jing Wang Hrisheekesh Thachoth Chandran Chun-Sing Lee Sai-Wing Tsang | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,5: | 2 |

| 20 | Analysis on Lean Blowout of Swirl Cup Combustor at Atmospheric Pressure Condition显示文摘The experimental data of lean blowout fuel/air ratio of a rectangular swirl cup combustor with different inlet temperatures was obtained at atmospheric pressure condition.Numerical simulations both burning and non-burning were performed corresponding to the experimental data at lean blowout.Results indicated that the size of the recirculation region in the primary zone was obviously smaller when burning than non-burning,but the locations of the cores of their recirculation regions were almost the same.The increase of inlet air temperature didn't mean the rise of the temperature of recirculation region core.The location of the maximum temperature in the primary zone was not the same as that one of the core temperature of the recirculation region.Further more,the reasons were analyzed how the lean blowout fuel/air ratio changed with the inlet temperature increasing under the actions of factors both positive and negative to combustion,and this would be helpful to deepen the understanding of the lean blowout process of swirl cup combustor. | Yixiang Yuan Hailin Fan Xiyang Liu Qi Dong Chunqing Tan Baoting Guo | 2011 | Journal of Thermal Science2011,20,4: | 2 |
