Extended multivariate public key cryptosystems with secure encryption function显示文摘Advances in quantum computers pose great threats on the currently used public key cryptographic algorithms such as RSA and ECC. As a promising candidate secure against attackers equipped with quantum computational power, multivariate public key cryptosystems (MPKCs) have attracted increasing attention in recently years. Unfortunately, the existing MPKCs can only be used as a multivariate signature scheme, and it remains unknown how to construct an efficient MPKC enabling secure encryption. Furthermore, some multivariate signature schemes have been shown insecure in recent years, and it is also not trivial to build MPKC which can serve as a secure signature scheme. By employing the basic MQ-trapdoors, this paper proposes a novel MPKC and shows how it can be used as a multivariate signature scheme and a multivariate encryption scheme, respectively. The goal is achieved by incorporating our new hash authentication techniques and some modification methods such as the Shamir's minus method. Thorough analysis shows that our schemes are secure and efficient. Our MPKC gives a positive response to the challenges in multivariate public key cryptography. | WANG HouZhen 1,2 , ZHANG HuanGuo 1,2 , WANG ZhangYi 1,2 & TANG Ming 1,2 1 The Key Laboratory of Aerospace Information Security and Trusted Computing, Ministry of Education, School of Computer, Wuhan University, Wuhan 430079, China 2 State Key Laboratory of Software Engineering, Wuhan University, Wuhan 430072, China | 2011 | Science China(Information Sciences)2011,54,6: | 26
Synthetically adaptive robust filtering for satellite orbit determination显示文摘The quality of the satellite orbit determination is rested on the knowledge of per-turbing forces acting on the satellite and stochastic properties of the observations, and the ability of controlling various kinds of errors. After a brief discussion on the dynamic and geometric orbit determinations, Sage adaptive filtering and robust filtering are reviewed. A new synthetically adaptive robust filtering based on a combination of robust filtering and Sage filtering is devel-oped.It is shown, by derivations and calculations, that the synthetically adaptive robust filtering for orbit determination is not only robust but also simple in calculation. It controls the effects of the outliers of tracking observations and the satellite dynamical disturbance on the parameter esti-mates of the satellite orbit. | YANG Yuanxi1 & WEN Yuanlan2 1. | 3 | An Anthropomorphic Robot Hand Developed Based on Underactuated Mechanism and Controlled by EMG Signals显示文摘When developing a humanoid myo-control hand, not only the mechanical structure should be considered to afford a highdexterity, but also the myoelectric (electromyography,EMG) control capability should be taken into account to fully accomplishthe actuation tasks. This paper presents a novel humanoid robotic myocontrol hand (AR hand Ⅲ) which adopted an underac-tuated mechanism and a forearm myocontrol EMG method. The AR hand Ⅲ has five fingers and 15 joints, and actuated by threeembedded motors.Underactuation can be found within each finger and between the rest three fingers (the middle finger, the ringfinger and the little finger) when the hand is grasping objects. For the EMG control, two specific methods are proposed:thethree-fingered hand gesture configuration of the AR hand Ⅲ and a pattern classification method of EMG signals based on astatistical learning algorithm-Support Vector Machine (SVM).Eighteen active hand gestures of a testee are recognized ef-fectively,which can be directly mapped into the motions of AR hand Ⅲ.An on-line EMG control scheme is established basedon two different decision functions:one is for the discrimination between the idle and active modes, the other is for the recog-nition of the active modes. As a result, the AR hand Ⅲ can swiftly follow the gesture instructions of the testee with a time delayless than 100 ms. | Da-peng Yang~1 Jing-dong Zhao~1 Yi-kun Gu~1 Xin-qing Wang~1 Nan Li~1 Li Jiang~1Hong Liu~(1,2) Hai Huang~3 Da-wei Zhao~41.State Key Laboratory of Robotics and System,Harbin Institute of Technology,Harbin 150001,P.R.China2.Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics,German Aerospace Center,Munich 82230,Germany3.College of Shipbuilding Engineering,Harbin Engineering University,Harbin 150001,P.R.China4.College of Automation,Harbin Engineering University,Harbin 150001,P.R.China | 2009 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2009,6,3: | 16
Target selection and transfer trajectories design for exploring asteroid mission显示文摘Technique of target selection and profiles of transfer trajectory for Chinese asteroid exploring mission are studied systemically.A complete set of approaches to selecting mission targets and designing the transfer trajectory is proposed.First, when selecting a target for mission, some factors regarded as the scientific motivations are discussed. Then, when analyzing the accessibility of targets, instead of the classical strategy, the multiple gravity-assist strategy is provided. The suitable and possible targets, taking into account scientific value and technically feasible, are obtained via selection and estimation. When designing the transfer trajectory for exploring asteroid mission,an approach to selecting gravity-assist celestial body is proposed. Finally, according to the mission constraints, the trajectory profile with 2-years △V-EGA for exploring asteroid is presented.Through analyzing the trajectory profile, unexpected result that the trajectory would pass by two main-belts asteroids is found. So,the original proposal is extended to the multiple flybys mission. It adds the scientific return for asteroid mission. | CUI PingYuan1,QIAO Dong1,CUI HuTao2 & LUAN EnJie3 1 School of Aerospace Engineering,Beijing Institute of Technology,Beijing 100081,China 2 Harbin Institute of Technology,Harbin 150001,China 3 National Defense Science and Industry Bureau,Beijing 100048,China | 2010 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,4: | 15
An experimental study of aero-optical aberration and dithering of supersonic mixing layer via BOS显示文摘The optical performance of supersonic mixing layer is heavily deteriorated by the aero-optical aberration and dithering of coherent structures, but current measuring methods limit the spatiotemporal resolution in relevant studies. A high resolution whole-field aero-optical aberration and dithering measuring method based on the Background Orient Schlieren (BOS) technique was studied. The systematic structure, sensitivity and resolution of BOS are analyzed in this paper. The aero-optical aberration and dithering of streamwise structures in supersonic mixing layers were quantificationally studied with BOS. The aberration field of spanwise structures revealed the ribbon-like aberration structures, which heavily restrict the optical performance of a mixing layer. The quantifications of aero-optical aberration and dithering are very important in studying aero-optical performance of supersonic mixing layer. | ZHAO YuXin , YI ShiHe, TIAN LiFeng, HE Lin & CHENG ZhongYu College of Aerospace and Material Engineering, National University of Defense Technology, Changsha 410073, China | 2010 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,1: | 13
Effect of the cooling rate on plastic deformability of a Zr-based bulk metallic glass显示文摘The present work found the plastic deformability of Zr65Cu17.5Ni10Al7.5 BMG dependent on the cooling rate during the formation from the molten state alloy. The deformation behavior in the compression test of φ 2 mm Zr65Cu17.5Ni10Al7.5 BMGs as-cast or lathed from different sizes as-cast samples was characterized, and they exhibited different plastic strains. The compressive plastic strain increases with the decreasing diameter of the as-cast specimens, i.e. with increasing the cooling rate. It is suggested that free volume content in the BMGs, which is related to the cooling rate during the rapid solidification, could play an important role in the deformation process of the BMGs. | ZHANG Jing, PANG ShuJie & ZHANG Tao Key Laboratory of Aerospace Materials and Performance (Ministry of Education), Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing 100191, China | 2010 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,3: | 13
GIS APPLICATION IN RESEARCH OF WILDLIFE HABITAT CHANGE——A case study of the Giant Panda in Wolong Nature Reserve显示文摘The general aim of this study is to find the relationship between the panda distribution and human activities. Comparison of the potential panda habitat and the real panda distribution shows a difference between them. Seven human activities were identified and analyzed. They are settlements, farming, road construction, firewood collection, timber production, mining and Chinese medicinal plant collection. The spatial distributions of these activities were characterized. The analysis of their spatial distributions and the pandas’ habitat and distribution revealed that there is a relation existing between the human activities and the panda distribution, and the Giant Pandas have disappeared from the areas where the human activities are concentrated. GIS is the main tool used in this study to collect, store, retrieve, transform and present the spatial data of human activities and panda habitat and distribution in Wolong Nature Reserve. | Liu Xuehua Institute of Geography, CAS, Beijing 100101 People’s Republic of China M.C. | 8 | Studies of the unsteady supersonic base flows around three afterbodies显示文摘<正> Unsteady supersonic base flows around threeafterbodies, cylindrical(Cy),boattailed(BT)and three-step(MS),are investigated in this paper.Reynolds-averagedNavier-Stokes(RANS)and two RANS/LES(large-eddysimulation)hybrid methods, detached eddy simulation(DES)and delayed-DES(DDES),are used to predict the base flowcharacteristics around the baseline Cy afterbody. All theRANS and hybrid methods are based on the two-equationSST(shear-stress transport)model with compressible correc-tions(CC).According to the comparison of measurements, both DES and DDES can produce more satisfactory resultsthan RANS.RANS can only present the 'stable' flow pat-terns,while the hybrid methods can demonstrate unsteadyflow structures.DDES and DES results are little differentfrom one another although the latter exhibits better agree-ment with the experiment.DES is taken to investigate the5~ BT and three-step afterbodies. The mean flow data andthe instantaneous turbulent coherent structures are comparedagainst available measurements. | Zhixiang Xiao Song Fu School of Aerospace Engineering,Tsinghua University, 100084 Beijing, China | 2009 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2009,25,4: | 12
Capability of evolutionary cryptosystems against differential cryptanalysis显示文摘The evolutionary cryptosystem is a new cryptosystem. This paper studies its security level resisting against differential cryptanalysis. It is shown that the evolutionary cryptosystem possesses higher resistance than its initial fixed cryptosystem against differential cryptanalysis. On the basis of the relationship among the data complexity, the bit advantage and the success rate of differential cryptanalysis,it is proven that more data is needed for attacking the evolutionary cryptosystem when the bit advantage and success rate are identical. Moreover,it is shown that the time complexity for attacking the evolutionary cryptosystem is higher than that of differential attacking its initial fixed cryptosystem with the same amount of plaintext-ciphertext pairs. The research indicates that the evolutionary cryptosystem is more robust than its initial fixed cryptosystem against differential cryptanalysis. | ZHANG HuanGuo 1,2 ,LI ChunLei 1,2 & TANG Ming 1,2 1 School of Computer,Wuhan University,Wuhan 430072,China 2 Key Laboratory of Aerospace Information Security and Trusted Computing of Ministry of Education,Wuhan University,Wuhan 430072,China | 2011 | Science China(Information Sciences)2011,54,10: | 11
Variational principles and governing equations in nano-dielectrics with the flexoelectric effect显示文摘The flexoelectric effect is very strong and coupled with large strain gradients for nanoscale dielectrics. At the nanoscale, the electrostatic force cannot be ignored. In this paper, we have established the electric enthalpy variational principle for nanosized dielectrics with the strain gradient and the polarization gradient effect, as well as the effect of the electrostatic force. The complete governing equations, which include the effect of the electrostatic force, are derived from this variational principle, and based on the principle the generalized electrostatic stress is obtained, the generalized electrostatic stress contains the Maxwell stress corresponding to the polarization and strain, and stress related to the polarization gradient and strain gradient. | 11 | Research on theory and key technology of trusted computing platform security testing and evaluation显示文摘Trusted computing has become a new trend in the area of international information security, and the products of trusted computing platform begin to be used in application. Users will not use the products of information security, unless it goes through the testing and evaluation. Here we concentrate on the testing and evaluation problem of trusted computing platform, begin with constructing proper formalization model of trusted computing platform for testing, and establish a mathematical chain of trust model based on SPA. Moreover, we give a verification method of composite characteristics and find the potential factors threatening the trusted system in the process of remote attestation through analysis. For trusted software stack, we study the problem of automatic generation of test case and propose an improved method of generating the random test case, to raise the quality of test case. Finally, we give a prototype system of trusted computing platform and the actual test data related. The result demonstrates that there exist some flaws in the architecture of the present TCG computing platform. At the same time, some flaws are found in the products of existing trusted computing platform, thus a basis is laid for the improvement and development of trusted platform technology and its products. | ZHANG HuanGuo1,2, YAN Fei1,2, FU JianMing1,2, XU MingDi1,2, YANG Yang1,2, HE Fan1,2 & ZHAN Jing1,2 1School of Computer, Wuhan University, Wuhan 430072, China 2Key Laboratory of Aerospace Information Security and Trusted Computing, Ministry of Education, Wuhan 430072, China | 2010 | Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,3: | 11
Aerodynamic map for soft and hard hypersonic level flight in near space显示文摘In this note,we design a velocity-altitude map forhypersonic level flight in near space of altitude 20-100 km.This map displays aerodynamic-related parameters associ-ated with near space level flight, schematically or quantita-tively.Various physical conditions for the near-space levelflight are then characterized, including laminar or turbulentflow, rarefaction or continuous flow, aerodynamic heating, aswell as conditions for sustaining level flight with and withoutorbital effect. This map allows one to identify conditions tohave soft flight or hard flight, and this identification wouldbe helpful for making correct planning on detailed studies ofaerodynamics or making initial design of near space vehicles. | Ruifeng Hu Ziniu Wu Zhe Wu Xiaoxin Wang Zhongwei Tian School of Aerospace, Tsinghua University, 100084 Beijing, China | 2009 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2009,25,4: | 11
Multiresolution analysis of density fluctuation in supersonic mixing layer显示文摘Due to the difficulties in measuring supersonic density field, the multiresolution analysis of supersonic mixing layer based on experimental images is still a formidable challenge. By utilizing the recently developed nanoparticle based planar laser scattering method, the density field of a supersonic mixing layer was measured at high spatiotemporal resolution. According to the dynamic behavior of coherent structures, the multiresolution characteristics of density fluctuation signals and density field images were studied based on Taylor’s hypothesis of space-time conversion and wavelet analysis. The wavelet coefficients reflect the characteristics of density fluctuation signals at different scales, and the detailed coefficients reflect the differences of approximation at adjacent levels. The density fluctuation signals of supersonic mixing layer differ from the periodic sine signal and exhibit similarity to the fractal Koch signal. The similarity at different scales reveals the fractal characteristic of mixing layer flowfield. The two-dimensional wavelet decomposition and reconstruction of density field images extract the approximate and detailed signals at different scales, which effectively resolve the characteristic structures of the flowfield at different scales. | ZHAO YuXin1, YI ShiHe, TIAN LiFeng, HE Lin & CHENG ZhongYu College of Aerospace and Material Engineering, National University of Defense Technology, Changsha 410073, China | 2010 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,2: | 11
Drag reduction in ultrahydrophobic channels with micro-nano structured surfaces显示文摘A series of experiments have been performed to demonstrate the significant drag reduction of the laminar flow in the ultrahydrophobic channels with dual-scale micro-nano structured surfaces. However,in previous experiments, the ultrahydrophobic surfaces were fabricated with micro-structures or nano-structures and the channels were on the microscale. For the drag reduction in macro-scale channels few reports are available. Here a new method was developed to fabricate ultrahydrophobic surfaces with micro-nano hierarchical structures made from carbon nanotubes. The drag reductions up to 36.3% were observed in the macro-channels with ultrahydrophobic surfaces. The micro-PIV was used to measure the flow velocity in channels.Compared with the traditional no-slip theory at walls,a significant slip velocity was observed on the ultrahydrophobic surfaces. | LU Si,YAO ZhaoHui *,HAO PengFei & FU ChengSong School of Aerospace,Tsinghua University,Beijing 100084,China | 2010 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,7: | 11
Structural ensemble dynamics based closure model for wall-bounded turbulent flow显示文摘Wall-bounded turbulent flow involves the developmentof multi-scale turbulent eddies, as well as a sharplyvarying boundary layer. Its theoretical descriptions are yetphenomenological. We present here a new framework calledstructural ensemble dynamics (SED), which aims at usingsystematically all relevant statistical properties of turbulentstructures for a quantitative description of ensemble means.A new set of closure equations based on the SED approachfor a turbulent channel flow is presented. SED order functionsare defined, and numerically determined from data ofdirect numerical simulations (DNS). Computational resultsshow that the new closure model reproduces accurately thesolution of the original Navier-Stokes simulation, includingthe mean velocity profile, the kinetic energy of the stream-wisevelocity component, and every term in the energy budgetequation. It is suggested that the SED-based studies of turbulentstructure builds a bridge between the studies of physicalmechanisms of turbulence and the development of accuratemodel equations for engineering predictions. | Zhen-Su She Ning Hu You Wu State Key Laboratory for Turbulence and Complex Systems and Dept Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering,College of Engineering, Peking University,100871 Beijing, China | 2009 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2009,25,5: | 11
Thermoelastic properties of sandwich materials with pin-reinforced foam cores显示文摘Pin-reinforced foam is a novel type of sandwich core materials formed by inserting pins(trusses) into a foam matrix to create a truss-like network reinforced foam core.Upon loading, the pins deform predominantly by local stretching whilst the deformation of foam is governed by local bending. This paper presents a theoretical study on the thermoelasticity of pin-reinforced foam sandwich cores. To calculate the effective thermoelastic properties of pin-reinforced foam cores, the energy-based homogenization approach is employed to develop a micromechanics-based model, calibrated by the existing experimental data.It is found that the stiffness of the sandwich core is mainly governed by pin reinforcements:the foam matrix contributes little to sandwich stiffness.Compared with traditional foam cores without pin reinforcements, the changes in inplane thermal expansion coefficients are not vigorous as a result of pin reinforcements, while the through-thickness thermal expansion coefficient changes significantly. It is also demonstrated that it is possible to design materials with zero or negative thermal expansion coefficients under such a context. | LU TianJian1,LIU Tao2,3 & DENG ZiChen2,4 1 MOE Key Laboratory of Strength and Vibration,School of Aerospace,Xi’an Jiaotong University,Xi’an 710049,China 2 Department of Engineering Mechanics,Northwestern Polytechnical University,Xi’an 710072,China 3 Department of Engineering,University of Cambridge,Cambridge CB2 1PZ,UK 4 State Key Laboratory of Structural Analysis of Industrial Equipment,Dalian University of Technology,Dalian 116024,China | 2008 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2008,51,12: | 10
Dynamics analysis and experiment on the fishtailing type of valveless piezoelectric pump with rectangular vibrator显示文摘In recent years, the research and development of piezoelectric pumps have become an increasingly popular topic. Minimization, structure simplification and stronger output become the focus of piezoelectric pumps’ research due to its possible application in MEMS technology. The valveless fishtailing piezoelectric pump, neither a volumetric nor a rotating pump, was invented according to the bionics of fish swimming. With assumption that the head of the fish is fixed while its tail is swinging, fluid would flow toward the end of the tail, achieving the function of a valveless pump. This type of pumps creates a new branch for the piezoelectric pump research, which is proposed for the first time in this paper. The relationship between the flow rates and vibrating frequencies was derived from the interaction between the vibrator and fluid. Numerical simulations with FEM software were conducted to study the first and second vibration modes of the piezoelectric vibrator. The results showed that the maximum amplitude of the vibrator was 0.9 mm at the frequency of 76 Hz for the first vibration mode, while the maximum amplitude of the vibrator was 0.22 mm at the frequency of 781 Hz for the second vibration mode. Experiments were conducted with the Doppler laser vibration measurement system, and the results were compared to those of the FEM simulation. It was shown that in the first vibration mode the piezoelectric vibrator reached its maximum amplitude of about 0.9 mm at the driving frequency of 49 Hz, which gives the flow rate of 2.0 mL/min, in the second vibration mode, the maximum amplitude was about 0.25 mm at the frequency of 460 Hz with the flow rate being 6.4 mL/min. | HUANG Yi1, ZHANG JianHui1, HU XiaoQi1, XIA QiXiao2, HUANG WeiQing1 & ZHAO ChunSheng1 1 Department of Aerospace Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing 210016, China 2 Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Beijing Union University, Beijing 100020, China | 2010 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,12: | 10
